Al's Auto Glass

Nearly four years later and Al’s Auto Glass is asking for a review—better late than never! My right rear quarter window was bipped while I was waiting to deliver a customer’s order outside Anjappar Chettinad in Santa Clara. This happened during the peak of the smash-and-grab incidents in the Bay Area. I called Al’s the next day, and they could’ve fit me in that same day if I had gone to their shop in San Jose. Instead, I opted to wait an extra day and had a technician come to me in Cupertino. They were quick, efficient, and had the glass in stock. What impressed me most was that it wasn’t aftermarket—it actually had the Toyota logo on it. The technician did make a small error, leaving the door panel slightly misaligned. But after I called, he returned the very next day and fixed it without issue. Just one more thing: they will vacuum the glass. I panicked when this happened and tried to clean it myself. Just let it sit.

We had to replace the windshield on the car! The owner was and Service was good, super friendly, and always willing to talk and answer questions! The best thing is its been about 2 years or so since that time the new windshield has survived going all the way to the east coast and back to Oregon, through rain, freezing rain, snow, ice wind temps below zero and it not once had a leak or any kind of problem with the new windshield or the seals! The time it took was not to long for the removal and to install the new.one! I believe this is the best I have ever had the pleasure to experience! Thank you so much Al's! I will always come back and recommend people to you for windshield replacement! Other companies treat you like a number or a statistic this one has the personal touch that makes the experience top notch!

Al is great and was able to get me in same day! I had an appointment scheduled with Safelite this morning to replace my windshield. After removing my windshield they said there was “rust” and wouldn’t be able to complete the windshield installation and left my car with no windshield. This caused me a great deal of stress as I was expecting for my windshield to be completed. I saw that Al’s was open and I gave him a call and he was able to get me in same day, remove the minimal surface rust and replace my windshield. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions without hesitation. I am very satisfied with his work and highly recommend Al’s auto glass! Great prices too!

Al was fantastic. He took great care installing the glass in our ‘57 Chev - he was knowledgeable about our classic car, and classic cars in general, which is important considering the amount of work that goes into restoring, you want someone who knows and cares…one slip would easily cost thousands of dollars as well as the time and effort. Al clearly navigated the idiosyncrasies of a ‘57 Chevy hardtop windshield and rear window. We also used Al for window tinting on an S-10, and he removed the old bubbly blue tint and replaced with a nice smoke tint with no bubbles and has worn great. On top of great service, his prices were competitive. Much appreciated and highly recommend.

Due to the roads being treated for the storm I had a huge rock hit my windshield yesterday on Christmas during travel. I found Al's on Google and called them this morning, the day after Christmas and they were able to get me in today! The technician was very fast, friendly, and efficient, and I would recommend them and will definitely come back in the future! They also guarantee their work if something should happen later and I would say it's affordable. Thank you for getting me in and taking care of my windshield before it cracked!

I had them replace my front windshield and during the process scraped my interior with a wire wheel multiple times and messed an area up. My husband had to mention something when he did it the first time but it unfortunately happened again. When we left, we noticed the weather stripped or seal on the outside was not put back correctly and keeps flapping up when we drive, also our window now gets foggy and condensation on the inside because it wasn’t sealed properly. Super disappointed and do not recommend.

I want to give Al's Auto Glass the biggest 5 stars ever!!! Im so grateful!! This place replaced my windows tinted them and when my Mercedes Benz C300SPORT was done they sent me a short video of the car. I was out of town and I couldn't come to pick it up during their normal business day/time, Al met me at the shop on Sunday, just so I could pick up my car. This shop is absolutely wonderful, my windows are beautiful, and the cost was worth it. Thankyou so much!!

Highly recommend this shop! I got a crack all the way across my windshield after a fluke snowstorm and not only was Al the cheapest price, he had my glass in stock and an available appointment for me right away! I was in and out in less than 2 hours and I got to have a great conversation while waiting around. He's a great guy. Helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. Not just to me, everyone. People passing by, the other customers, he was straight forward and genuine to all. Bonus, he's a good teacher.
