Sal's Auto Glass

Had a horrible experience with Safelite AutoGlass, some of the absolute worst customer service I have seen in a long time. Literally they did not care at all about a customer. I have a Subaru with heated windshield wipers and eyesight. The Glass for that particular model is very hard to come by even for dealers but Sal made it happen rather quickly. Sal made the experience easy as it should be for a customer. A co-worker also used Sal and had a great experience with him prior to me ever needing the service, and he went out of his way to comment on the professionalism and customer service oriented nature of Sal's Auto Glass. He also beats competitors pricing and cares about the service he provides. I will recommend him over anyone else in the Columbus area, his business should prosper as someone whom actually cares rather than these mega shops (example: Safelite) that don't care at all about the customer. Thanks again and if I am ever unlucky enough to get another broken piece of glass on any vehicle I own i will be returning to Sal's. With the uncovered loads here in Ohio, it might happen again.

This is a business ran on integrity. The windows on my passenger side stopped working years ago, and I finally decided to get them fixed. I called several shops and their shop fee to simply diagnose the issue was in the hundred dollar range. Then I called Sal’s Auto Glass. Within a few minutes of speaking he actually listened to me, correctly diagnosed the issue, told me the exact part I needed to order and informed me that he’d install it for a twenty dollar cost for his labor. Wow. He could have had me come in, poked around and charged me extra for his expertise in figuring out the issue, but he shared his knowledge and made the process so quick and painless. You won't find better service in Columbus or the surrounding area. Sal's done two jobs for me now. In June of 2016 he replaced my windshield "same day" after it was smashed by road debris while I was on my way back into town from vacation. December 2016, he just replaced my front passenger side window after my truck was broken into. The guy is helpful, fair, knowledgeable, dependable, honest, and affordable. He has your best interest in mind and works hard to get you up and running with his expertise. The other reviews on here are more than accurate based on my experiences. Call Sal for your automotive glass repair needs. He's an all around good guy too. What more could you ask for?! Sal's Auto Glass made my day, I LOVE IT HERE!!! They made me feel like I was Family! From the initial phone call to the pricing to the bottled water offered durning my arrival. They're same day service.... WOW! I called around for and hour trying to find same day service it seemed impossible..until Sal's. When I arrived Sal made me aware of a window regulator that I purchased because the other guys (Auto glass now) told me I needed one that I actually didn't need... He's character is noted, he could have easliy kept it for a furture job and I wouldn't have known the difference. Please if you need an auto glass repair GO TO SAL'S ... YOU WON'T REGRET IT. You ever meet someone and just know they’re a good person? That’s sal and his staff! After having a horrible experience and both of my cars back windows were shot out, sal made the repair process completely hassle free. The initial phone call and email were great. Up front and transparent pricing, at half of the cost of Safelite (through my insurance), and easy scheduling. Once I arrived, sal was sure to get the job done efficiently and perfectly. Even went so far as to vaccuum the glass out of the seats and use goo gone to remove the tape I had put on. All I can say is WOW!! Sal's has the best Quality and prices around! If I could give 10 stars 🌟 I would! I did my research and called a lot of places for my cracked windshield and nobody would re-install my remote start back to the windshield but Sal's said that it's part of the job. I was extremely satisfied by the quailty of a job well done, and that's not all the price was the best, the waiting room was really nice as well and I was in and out in 45 minutes noone beats that. You have a customer for life now and Im definitely telling everyone I know! Thank you again!!

Email exchange was good. Said I could "drop off anytime". Unfortunately experience at the shop was not good. Got there at 8:50 a.m. expecting to wait 10 minutes until opening time at 9 am. By 9:15 a.m. still looking at a closed sign so I'm searching competitors on Google. At 9:20 a.m. a car pulls up and a man unlocks the door. So I'm thinking sweet I finally get to go in. When I enter the lights are still off and I'm yelling "hello" but all I hear is a car running. No choice but to leave and have this as the only experience to base a review on.

When I walked in I was immediately greeted by Sal and an assistant, without a wait. Sal immediately helped me, and quoted me a time of about an hour. I sat in a very clean waiting area and in almost half the quoted time the job was already done. He even was kind enough to point out a couple rust spots to me, and cleaned up what rust he could, at no extra charge. I couldn't have better things to say about the service, price, and (so far) the quality. Ill immediately recommend anyone in need of auto glass work to Sal in a heartbeat.

Im wondering where you 5☆ reviewers for cheapest price in town got your other quotes from because I called 28 businesses and 27 of them were almost the same, within 100 bucks, with one of them about 200 cheaper than the assumed average. I called this company and they quoted me more than 200 dollars than the most expensive of the 27 companies AND said it was an extra 350.00 added on to that for the calibration of the HUD. If im doung my math correctly, they are well over 500 more than the most expensive of the other 27.

After having an awful customer service experience with another company, I did some more research and came across Sal's. He is awesome! Very professional, personable and honest. He explained exactly what he would be doing during the windshield replacement and made sure I was informed every step of the way. You rarely ever read reviews about the good things people do so I wanted to make sure I posted about my wonderful experience. My new windshield looks amazing and I am very happy!
