Harr's Auto Glass

The windshield replacement itself was great. But in the process, they cracked my cowl panel. Upon reporting this, Jeff promised me a home delivery + installation of a new cowl panel. Few days later I get a call from him saying he's not even sure if he broke the cowl panel to begin with, and ordering a new part is costing him more than how much I paid for the windshield. He asked if a used cowl panel will suffice as a replacement. I reassured him that the crack didn't exist before the windshield installation and accepted the used replacement part. Used part looks like it was picked up from a junkyard and is not a snug fit. It has washed-out and wavy rubber with gaps that allow elements to pass. Not a pleasant experience over all.

Didn’t even want to give a 1 star! Unprofessional, impatient and not helpful. The customer service was not good at all. Her name was Ann. We have dealt with them on a few other vehicles and the service was good. Today I called to ask about a reset and reseal and was talked to like I was a bother when asking question it’s was very condensing responses. Just very bad communication and customer service. Then I called back to confirm her name and I am sure it was the office manger that answered and I advised why I asking for her name she didn’t seem to concerned with the customer service issue. Sad that family owned businesses are what I strive to use but when big boxes have better customer service that’s where you go!

Harr's was professional and did a quick job replacing a cracked windshield on my van. They even came to my apartment complex and replaced the windshield in the parking lot! I worked with Sloani on the phone to get everything set up with scheduling and insurance. She was kind and professional, even when I said I would need to call my auto technician to make sure they were using the kind of glass he had recommended. I got new glass put in my Kenworth semi by Harrs Auto Glass, I tell you what, after the experience I had, I REFUSE to go anywhere else other than Harrs Auto Glass, they are very very polite and they do an amazing job, telling you guys now if you need any auto glass installed, try them out and you won't be disappointed!!! Even for a semi the prices were pretty fair. I started out having a back window in this day cab replaced, they did such an amazing job I said can you guys do my windshield and it's double panel we started out with the passenger side and then once they did that I said why not do the driver side. They really impressed me. I couldn't have asked for a better job!

I was referred to Harr's by a mechanic who said it was the best shop in town to go to for windshield repair and I'm glad I went with them. I had a leak on the inside of my windshield and they did a water test to confirm the windshield was loose. They were able to come to my house to do the repair. The gave me estimates based on the two scenarios that could occur. The two repairmen were prompt, professional, and communicative. They were able to fix the windshield for a very fair price. I called in the morning looking for a back window for my F 350. I was only in town for the day and they had no appointments available. I did schedule an appointment for the next time I was going to be in town, and advised them that I would be continuing to look for someone that could get it don that day. Within an hour, they had called back and said they could get it in that day for me. The technician was friendly, tried to clean all the broken glass up for me, and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them.

I am grateful that they was able to get me a glass for my car, called almost everywhere else in ohio and they was the only one that had or could get one. I would of gave them 5 stars but, the top of the glass is slightly off and doesnt fit the groove at the top of the door completely, I have to slightly push the window in slightly at the top for it to go into the rubber seal groove. I have a classic Land Rover Defender that needed a new windshield. After calling around Columbus, Harr’s was highly recommended. They took my call, booked me in, in a couple of days and did a beautiful job of installing my new windshield in a few hours. The people were kind and the cost was reasonable. I ADVISE if you pay in CASH make you count the cash and make sure they count it infront of you. I mistakenly handed the girl at the front desk an extra $80. When I noticed I did that, they told me no I handed them the correct amount. The employee there is sure $80 richer. Nice to know people like this have to steal money from others.

Setting up my appointment for windshield replacement over the phone took less than 5 minutes. I got a call before the technician, Gene, showed up and he was right on time. He was so friendly and did a great job! Harrs was a few hundred dollars cheaper than Safelite, and I got great customer service. I would highly recommend!
