I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with Safelite, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend their services to anyone. I scheduled mobile service three separate times, and each time, Safelite simply never showed up. There was no call, no email, no explanation — just a canceled appointment. When I finally managed to speak to a manager, I was told that they “don’t service my area,” despite their own website indicating they do. When I pointed this out, the manager simply shrugged and showed no interest in resolving the issue. When I eventually brought my vehicle into a shop for the repair, things only got worse. The windshield molding came completely off the very next day while I was driving down the highway — which is both dangerous and unacceptable. It’s clear that more damage was done to my vehicle during the repair than when I initially brought it in. To top it off, their customer service has been dismissive, slow to respond, and entirely unsympathetic to the situation. I filed a warranty claim, but the follow-up process has been delayed and handled without any sense of urgency. Overall, this company does not deliver on what they advertise, and the lack of accountability and professionalism from staff and management is deeply disappointing. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for glass repair or replacement. Fortunately, I have arranged with my insurance company to never have to return to them for service after the warranty repair eventually finishes.

I walked into a competitor's place and stood there for 5 minutes to wait to talk to someone, even though I had called and they were expecting me. I was completely ignored. It was a cold place that wasn't very welcoming. I ended up scheduling my windshield replacement through Safelite, as I had heard good things. Well, it was 5 stars from beginning to end! From the moment I walked in, Darby saw me, greeted me with a smile and welcomed me. She had a TV, coffee & a wifi code for me so I could work on my laptop as I waited. There ended up being a tech issue in calibration that caused a longer than quoted time, Darby made sure she communicated through the entire process. She also made me feel like she valued my time and appreciated my patronage, as she offered some freebies to make up for the inconvenience. She truly went above and beyond to make me feel valued and welcomed. I wish we had more places like this these days; the world would be a much better place. Until then, I'll be sure to encourage all to check this location out. They are great. Micheal did awesome on the installation. I highly recommend this place for all windshield needs, they truly care about their customers.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

When we first got our windshield replaced, our technician came to our house and was polite on the phone, but seemed to be struggling, as he was cursing as he replaced the windshield. When it was finished, there were tools left on our car, and the inside was filthy. We didn’t initially think anything of it, until we were driving and heard air leaking out of the windshield. When we called Safelite, we voiced our concerns. We were told to come to the nearest location so a technician could check. There was an obvious miscommunication, as when we got there, they seemed to think we had problems with our windshield wipers. We hadn’t even purchased any from them. On top of that, the manager, Darby, stated that she had no technicians, and we would need to go somewhere else another day, or make an appointment. We opted for an appointment, which was over a month from that day. A few weeks later, a friend stated he was able to get an appointment next day. I looked online and saw many appointments available much sooner, and rescheduled. Right from the start, the experience has been a roller coaster, and our windshield is still unsealed.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

They do good work. Some of their pricing is questionable. There phone system is the worst. 1. New Windshield replaced December 4th 2024. Technician claims my use of rearview mirror caused crack. Left rearview mirror off to prevent same situation twice. 2. 03/01/2025 Windshield crack, same location, Technician says misc stress facture not caused by me is the problem. Rearview mirror issue with no rearview mirror. 3. Called to file formal complaint and now they want to investigate, instead of doing a proper investigation first before declining my warrenty submission. #Beware #Scam #Looksomewhereelse UPDATE: The head man in charge Dave sent out one of his Master Techs (Jordy). Jordy looked at the situation, maintained communication with Dave, warrented my glass and fixed it. I am over pleased and grateful for Dave & Jordy. I think all the techs need to have complete training under these 2 individuals to appropriatley address claims. There is nothing wrong with additional training instead of just dismissing people. At the enddd Safelite, via higher ups, handled the business swiftly and fairly.

Brought my car in for a windshield, staff was friendly and helpful. However, my new windshield made terrible wind noise upon leaving. I drove right back in. They blamed it on the tape used to hold it in place that was supposed to stay on for an hour. After removing the tape the noise was still present and I drove right back to them again. They refused to do anything about it the same day and scheduled a mobile tech to come to me the next day. The mobile tech, Zach, on the other hand was fantastic. He called me prior to arriving, removed and reinstalled the glass with a new seal, was very professional and courteous, and completely fixed the issue of wind noise. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra couple of bucks to have Zach come to you and stay away from the shop.

If I could give it 0 I would! it's unfortunate that your employees can run another customers car into the back of mine causing over $2600 in damage and your company only wants to pay half of that in repairs. You've admitted fault and I wasn't even in my vehicle at the time it occurred. The way you've handled this situation is embarrassing. In 4 days it's been a month and NOTHING has been resolved as I was assured it would be. Both myself and the other party have done everything asked of us including multiple estimates and meeting with private adjusters, and both were insulted with only a portion of what the damages are. I will tell everyone I can about this poor excuse of a company and how they handle situations that are solely their fault.

I was so impressed With how Safelite handled my windshield. My insurance messed up and said that I had a different windshield than I actually did with a bunch of sensors in it. That caused Safelite to have the wrong windshield by accident. They were so fantastic at hurrying and ordering the correct windshield and getting it here so I didn't have to sit in the office forever. They were also so friendly and so prompt I really appreciated how they were. James was so helpful and kept giving me updates while I worked in the waiting room on their wifi. Great service. Great guys. Nice clean shop. I high recommend this shop!

I would like to let you guys know about my experience with Safelite. I got my windshield replaced, which it had two scratch spots on the windshield already. When I had called to complain, they schedule an appointment just to call me the following morning that they will not replace it or fix the scratches because it had passed 30 days coverage, which they should’ve told me when I made that phone call to schedule an appointment. I wouldn’t waste your money or time with this company since the windshield is cheap and was already damaged. I highly recommend to look elsewhere instead of Safelite.NegativeQuality, Value

Replaced my windshield, with out a hitch.i had to wait 3 weeks so the chip turned into a Crack. My advice is walk in, to see if you can move up your appointment because trying to schedule is a pia, thru their site or on the phone.. They could use a bigger parking lot and waiting room. They are right around the corner from a coffee shop so, I went there for a bit while I was waiting. They said they vacuumed the car after the windshield replacement but I saw no evidence of that. Anyway I got what I went there for ( a windshield, not s car vacuum). Thank you

I dealt with their technician, Brian, at this location for a giant rock chip in my windshield and his service was awesome. He did a great job on the repair (almost un-noticeable for a chip that was over an inch across and on a difficult part of the windshield to fix) and was very friendly. As a side note, another customer came in while he was working on my window and he helped get the other customer's insurance company on the phone and scheduled for a house-call. These guys aren't a franchise so it wasn't self-interest, he genuinely wanted to help.
