I don't usually write reviews. The fact that I'm doing it means something. I contacted Austin because I had a big problem. I needed an emergency windshield replacement, immediately, and I demanded OEM glass. Together this makes for a pretty big ask. I reached out to every auto glass repair business in a 200-mile radius from Seattle, and the soonest appointment I could find, even for aftermarket glass from the biggest names in the business, was two weeks out. Brass tacks: Austin made it happen and saved the day. Not only did he fit me into his schedule immediately, he had the necessary contacts to get the OEM glass on a moment's notice, and drove down on the weekend on a two-hour round trip to my house to get the job done. No one else can manage something like that these days; he got it done without issue. Austin arrived early in a custom sprinter van equipped with legit, specialized glass tools. He has years of past work experience from working for those "big name" auto glass repair companies. He knew how to work on my specific car, which was only a year old at the time, like he did it every day. He also threw in an extra service, free of charge, unexpectedly. Not only that, but his invoice price came in substantially under his estimate. Lastly, because it's important: Austin is cool. He's not your typical roadside mechanic. He's responsive via text and phone call. He's super down-to-earth. He knows a lot about cars and a lot about glass. He's the "full disclosure" type, which I really value. He told me straight up what I did and didn't need, and if I wanted to go above and beyond that anyway, he was happy to help. You can't very often find people like Austin these days. Austin seems like a nice guy. I went with the small business because of the 5 star rating, and I prefer to give my money to small businesses. I have 2 cars that need windshield replacement. A month later, I still have 2 windshields that need to be replaced. It seems he lives out of state and just coordinates for the work to be done. Unfortunately, the contractors he uses seem to be unreliable and communication with Austin is poor. When a contractor backs out Austin doesn’t reach out, and provides no updates as we wait at home expecting service. I’m sure he’s a nice guy, and probably does some good work when they make their appointments, but at least this time it was a miss.

I’ve used lucid auto glass twice the last two months to repair a back window of a flat bed truck and a side window in a jeep of mine. Both times he’s shown up on time, prepared, professional and always does an awesome job and quickly. I’ve needed glass repair twice on a drop of a dime and usually have to wait days or weeks to get someone out, but Austin has been able to fit us right in and does a great job. thanks for the great service Austin ! Austin was on time, super respectful and professional. I was in a pinch with breaking out my back window and needed it done before the weather hit, and on his day off he came out and installed my rear window. I was super appreciative of his customer service, especially being his day off that he and all of us work hard for. My Jeep windshield was shattered, I wasn’t sure where I was going to get a new one. I happened to be at target the other day and found a card from lucid glass. I called and Austin was able to come out to my house just a couple days later and replace my windshield! Took him maybe 45 mins and I had a brand new window! I won’t hesitate to use lucid glass in the future and I will definitely let others know! I would also like to add I also shopped around in those couple days just to compare prices and safelight wanted $600! I got it done for half that and I’m super happy about it!

Austin came to our home and replaced the windshield on our 2012 Range Rover. He was very prompt and professional. Just the sort of bloke you would want to work on your auto. Austin took great care to make sure everything was exactly aligned and in place, the rain sensor was re-installed and all electrical connectors securely re-installed. He made sure the Range Rover and surrounding area was very clean and made sure we were satisfied with his work. Great job! We tell everyone about his care and attention to detail and will use him again when needed.

Friendly and professional. Provided fast service. Priced fairly. Would definitely use their services again. I had my rear passenger window vandalized and decided to pay out of pocket to get the window fixed versus going through insurance. I hadn't gotten around to vacuuming the glass up, getting the window fixed was my first priority. My technician ended up vacuuming up the glass as a courtesy and I greatly appreciate it. I also love how they are mobile and come to you, makes it easier when you have a baby.

I needed my windshield replaced after vandalism. I called a few places and got nowhere. I was told there was a glass shortage and that my particular windshield was not available at the moment, with no estimated date of restock. I called Lucid auto glass and Austin was very kind and helpful. He was able to find me a replacement windshield in Portland and within days came to my job and replaced my windshield. Somehow we got a chip that started cracking last night, i messaged Austin, and he got right back to me first thing the next morning. After messaging back and forth a few times, my husband reminded me that he needed the truck by 1. I messaged Austin again and let him know, and to see if he could come out sooner, he was here in 15 minutes!! Blew my mind! Very friendly, repaired the crack in about 15 minutes! I would highly recommends Austin and his mobile auto glass service. I have been trying for awhile to get into many places for windshield crack repair and had no calls returned and had no available appointments.
