AMENDED REVIEW....If you have safety systems that require calibration after getting a windshield replaced, I would think twice or even three times about using Icon. The safety systems in my car were working perfectly before Icon started working on my car. They havent worked since. They put in FOUR, yes, 4 windshields. 3 were the exact same. The 4th was genuine GM as that's what was recommended by 2 Chevy dealerships. After the 4th windshield went in and they were still unable to get the safety systems going, they told me to contact the dealership to get whatever was wrong fixed and that I should have the dealership tell them the price so they could pay. Well, in an entirely unsurprising turn of events, Icon has now said they AREN'T responsible now and wont pay for what they have broken. Let me repeat that, what THEY HAVE BROKEN! Plus, they were ultimately going to bill my insurance for a recalibration that they weren't able to complete. I will be notifying the BBB and depending on the costs to finally fix this mess, I may also be contacting an attorney. Id give zero stars if I could. How does a company break something and not take responsibility for it? Not worth the $100 off the deductible for this cluster-fudge!!

They have replaced a few windshields for me. Good overall job, I thought. But when it broke again due to a rock chip and had to be replaced, insurance made me use a safelite. Come to find out, when the Icon tech was removing the moldings he broke 2 of the brackets and never said anything. He proceeded to just glue them back in place. I called Icon and they said it’s out of warranty because another company started on it. It’s obvious the tech made a mistake on the original replacement and instead of saying something tried to cover it up with glue. Also when is anyone ever going to remove a molding that’s under the hood except when replacing the windshield. Just say something if you make a mistake. It’s not a big deal. It’s far cheaper and easier than trying to cover it up. Prices are competitive, but you may get covered up service and then hung up on when you call to ask about it and to politely ask if they can replace the part.

While in the middle of a move from WA to TX, my wife and I were headed south on I-84 when a truck kicked up a baseball sized rock that hit our windshield and instantly shattered it. After pulling over and vacuuming up the glass at a gas station we called a few shops en route, but no one could get us in for several days. We called Icon and they figured out how to get us in the same day and made sure they had a windshield on hand. When we finally made it to the shop, they immediately got my truck in and started working on it right away. An hour later the new windshield was in and we were back on our way headed south. The whole team did an amazing job of taking care of us when we really needed it, and the pricing was very reasonable. If you need glass, I would highly recommend them.

Look man, I do my best to find the good in everything and give the benefit of the doubt. Always. But, these guys suck so bad at replacing motorhome windshields I cannot help but leave a review. The first time the windshield was replaced, it was done so with an off-market product. It literally slid down and became unusable. So, giving the benefit of the doubt, we went back for another round. This was our mistake. The second time the windshield was replaced, the correct piece was used. But, it was done poorly and with little care. The screws seemed a bit loose but, again, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. However, when I washed it water seeped through the edges with ease. Sincerely, what the hell. Don't go to this business unless you want to laugh in lieu of crying.

After receiving several quotes from some of the more known glass places I finally found Icon Glass. I talked to Ben and in less than a few minutes had everything completely arranged to have my windshield replaced. Josiah the technician showed up exactly at the time we agreed on and within 45 minutes had my windshield replaced and recalibrated. Couldn’t be happier with the whole experience! Icon Glass really provides a truly hassle free/professional experience! If you’re in need of a new windshield and want to avoid the typical sales guy/corporate feel you get from some of the other well known guys out there, call these guys! Called, specified my car, they brought the wrong glass out, made me wait over an extra week and pay $100 more for the correct glass. Tech insisted that my car was moved to the street rather than the driveway so he could leave broken glass everywhere that we then had to go sweep up. Couldn’t get the windshield wiper apart. Left broken glass everywhere inside of the car as well. Lost trim clips to the plastic trim that was removed from the back of the car (I managed to find all but one and reinstall it myself). Not super impressed with the experience overall. Maybe it would have been better if I brought the car to them rather than having them come to me, either way will not be a return customer.

They came to replace our FJ cruiser windshield and put a white trim piece on our grey car. Spoke with them in hopes to get it fixed because our car comes with the roof the same color from the factory* but they offered no help. The only offer they had was for us to pay an extra $600 if we want a color matched piece or we can take it to a paint shop on our own. A few days later the piece flew off on the highway because it was not glued properly either. It has been a mess. We would not have replaced our windshield if we knew it would be this much trouble. Their mobile service is convenient but unfortunately this was not handled great.
