I recently had a poor customer service and communication experience with the Fort Worth Safelite branch. I made two attempts to have my windshield replaced, but both ended in failure: the first due to the windshield cracking upon installation; the second due to the discovery that the replacement windshield had arrived flawed. Both events were actually understandable events. What was quite disappointing was the unsatisfactory communication regarding the invoice cost, difficulties reaching customer service reps at the specific store via their phone system tree, some rudeness experienced at the customer service desk, and evasiveness regarding a discussion of potential partial compensation following the second failed install attempt. An offer of compensation was ultimately made, but the amount was insultingly small given the amount of time that had been invested in Safelite. My vehicle is a 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan. A later search of Volkswagen owner pages indicated a possible trend in problems encountered by Volkswagen owners who attempted to have glass repaired by Safelite. It’s advisable for Volkswagen owners to research reviews before utilizing Safelite as a glass repair source for their vehicles. In a broader sense, I think anyone who values good customer service and communication should closely evaluate their alternatives before utilizing Safelite - particularly the Fort Worth shop. My own experience did not suggest a commitment to customer care. The corporation is large and the marketing is strong. However, please remember there are many local options for windshield repair.

Exceedingly upset with my experience. Had a technician show up to repair what was a negligible chip in the windshield. Almost not worth fixing but I am a firm believer in preventative maintenance so as a preventative measure I decided to have it repaired. Long story short The technician came out and shattered my windshield. Shortly after I received a phone call telling me that Safelite would take care of it and they scheduled an appointment for a week from today. Fast forward to exactly 5:00 in the afternoon on Monday in the middle of rush hour traffic and I get a phone call from safelite (presumably a manager) telling me that not only would they not stand behind their product but I was going to have to pay a $500 deductible. Exceedingly upset. I have already submitted an official complaint through Safelite and they assured me that it would get taken care of sometime in the next couple of days. I'm expecting a phone call from corporate or some sort of regional manager. A company this big should stand behind the product and services that it provides. To add insult to injury 5 hours later when I get home after a long day at work he also did not lock the vehicle. As stated before an official complaint with Safelite has been submitted and I'm waiting for a phone call back from them.

Repeated Poor Service – Management Doesn’t Prioritize Customers This was our second frustrating experience at this location. The first time, they installed the wrong windshield on my Mercedes. Most recently, we brought in my husband’s Toyota Sequoia, and they failed to properly calibrate the vehicle’s sensors after the windshield replacement—forcing us to go to Toyota to get it corrected for an additional cost that State Farm had to cover. When we returned to address the issue, the manager dismissed us because he had a meeting with his boss. You would think his boss would expect customer satisfaction to come first—but clearly, that wasn’t the case. He passed us off to a technician who never resolved the problem and then left for lunch. We even had to point out wires left hanging under the steering column. The lack of accountability and professionalism here is astounding. Management should be embarrassed. We absolutely do not recommend this business and won’t be returning.

My service Tech was out standing. The knowledge base John has was beyond mind blowing for me. He executed the project of 4 windows and a motor. With fanominal time despite the hiccups my vehical provided him. Despite all that John assesed everything in a highly professional manner that was also very kind. I couldnt ask for a better Professional to have done the task at hand. With the ability to hear my questions, and answer promptly with details. Faced with tasks that would have hindered the job, and along side hearing me just talk about other subjects all while performing his task on a constant. This service pro. John Will be my go to tech for any further needs from the safe lite company. As not only did i have a professional tech. I felt i had a friend along the way of the project. This is my genuine, and authentic experience.

I recently had the windshield on my 2023 Tesla Model Y replaced and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. I scheduled my appointment online, dropped the car off at 9:30 a.m., and it was ready by 2:30 p.m.—quick and hassle-free. This location offers plenty of easily accessible parking, and the staff is both friendly and professional. The manager, Joe Johnson, was especially personable and accommodating, which made the whole process even smoother. I’ve had past work done at the NRH location, including a windshield replacement and chip repair, and unfortunately didn’t have a great experience there. Based on the outstanding service I received this time, I’ll definitely be returning to this location for any future windshield needs and highly recommend it to others.

My windshield replacement was scheduled for June 28th. I was traveling and was in Texas. The Safelite Technician, Ace, arrived around 0845 after calling and saying he was on his way. When he arrived, Ace went right to work. Ace was extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He answered every question I had without hesitation and it was a pleasure to watch him work. The job was completed in under 40 minutes and I was completely satisfied. I would not hesitate to use Safelite again and recommend them to anyone. If all the technicians are like Ace, the company should never have any complaints or issues. Thanks for the excellent service !

I have used Safelite twice now and both times have had a great experience from start to finish of having our auto glass replaced. They are easy to contact, schedule service with, they came to my location (work and home) and even filed the claim with our insurance. Our tech John did a great job paying attention to detail, even took care to move an important resident parking sticker from our old windshield to the new one. He arrived on time and made sure to communicate with me before and after service with what to expect and follow-up instructions. I would 100% use them again and recommend to others.

I recently had to replace my windshield and used Safelite service and am very satisfied. I highly recommend them. Reasons: Great cost, convenience of scheduling, Michael, my technician did an excellent job and took the time to answer all my questions and explained the process. Having Safelite come to me versus taking time off work to take my vehicle to them, was a time saver! The experience from start to finish was amazingly easy. Wish dealing with any repair shop or garage for vehicle repair, maintenance or replacement was this way.

The only glitch was with my insurance company being slow to authorize. Once I got on the phone with Safelite and told them what was up, they called and did a three way call with my insurer and it was handled in minutes. The rest was easy. And easy is awesome. Micheal was early, texted and called to let me know his status, asked if I had questions. He handled everything else pretty quickly and even transferred my registration sticker to the new windshield so I didn't have to pay for a new one. Like I said, easy. Easy is awesome.

Raul was outstanding! I used the mobile service since I work from home, and he came directly to my house and replaced the windshield on my 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche. He arrived on time, explained the entire process, and worked efficiently while ensuring everything was done perfectly. The quality of his work was top-notch, and he left the windshield spotless. It's rare to find such friendly and skilled service these days. I highly recommend Raul for anyone needing windshield repair or replacement.
