McCain Auto Glass

I got my windshield replaced less than a month ago and the windshield is cracked at the bottom already!! They must be using cheap glass because there is no way it already has a crack at the bottom. I work from home and my car sits in the same place 98% of the week. I called and they said there was nothing they can do because a “rock” hit it…What rock are they talking about??? I haven’t been anywhere for a rock to hit my windshield. I was also told to keep the tape they place on my windshield for 24/48 hours (I don’t remember the exact time frame at the moment), and when I removed it like I was told my paint was being lifted off the car with the tape. I will be returning to letting them look at the windshield and I will update my review with the results… Here is the update. My husband took my car back and they replaced the window shield for free it has been a week, so far so good and they didn’t put any tape this time. I will keep you all updated if anything happens within a month.

From Patricia answering the phone to greeting you when you arrive is always so pleasant to speak with, to Chris always being open and honest on the best route on repairing or fixing the windshields. We have 15 company vehicles that now will only go to McCain Auto Glass. I have taken my personal vehicle there and I have sent out employees there for repair work or replacement windshields in personal and antique vehicles. They offer better pricing, better quality, and amazing customer service than the bigger glass companies like Safelite. I had a chip in my company truck and called and got the appointment, they have always been great to work with time and days to fit our needs and others as well. He repaired the chip and now I cannot even tell it was there!!!! Best work by far. I cannot recommend them enough!

This was probably one of the best car repair experiences I've ever had. To say the very least, I was very stressed about unexpectedly having a big crack in my windshield. Finding out my insurance deductible was quite high and that this was coming out of pocket wasn't great either. Every other place quoted me something right around the price of my deductible, and McCain's was a good $300 cheaper. They took in my car the day after I called. Started working on my car as soon as I brought it to them in the morning. I hung out at a Starbucks a couple blocks over since it was a short walk. I was back at work before lunchtime. They even vacuumed my car for me. Every person I spoke with over the phone and in person were just such good souls. I'm not even one to typically leave reviews, but this was worth mentioning!

OUTSTANDING family owned business! I’ve only lived in the area a few years so I don’t really know much about the businesses of the area, had an unfortunate situation last night- called them & Mrs Pat was so pleasant & even gave me advice on the situation. Almost felt as if I was talking to my own mother! My situation was urgent & they DELIVERED. Same day service, had my car back within 2 hours of the glass arriving- & when talking to the gentleman at the front counter, he was so personable & friendly, it’s like I’d been doing business with these good folks for years. They really OWNED my situation & treated it as if it was THEIR car. I was blown away by the prompt, QUICK service. Would definitely recommend to anyone. When it comes to auto glass, I have no doubt that they’re the best in town!

After getting about four quotes from auto glass businesses in the area to replace my front windshield of my 2018 Nissan Altima, their price was not only the most reasonable - the customer service was fantastic. Small family business run by a couple and their son, who were the most kind-hearted people. They were able to take care of my car the day after I chose them for their services. When my car window was shattered during a robbery, I was completely overwhelmed calling different places and getting quotes. Prices were crazy high and availability for appointments was 3-4 days out. McCain Auto Glass had amazing prices and customer service that immediately put me at ease. When I arrived for my appt, I was informed my window motor was broken, preventing me from being able to have my glass replaced. Once I found a motor, they were able to get me back in there, the SAME day. I was out within the hour. A great end to an otherwise very stressful situation. First time going to this business and my only regret I didn't know about them before today. From the phone call asking for the windshield estimate, setting up the appointment time, arriving and coming into the building, waiting and receiving my car back. The Family makes you feel welcomed, valued and appreciated. Father & Son Team and assuming the Wife in the Office are really nice people. Excellent Service! My wife needed a windshield replaced while in Greensboro for a conference. I researched auto glass replacement on the Web and McCain’s had all good reviews. I contacted them, and the owner answered the phone and all of my questions very professionally. Their price was competitive with the national brands so I immediately contracted them for the job. They came and picked up my wife's car, saying they could do a better job in their shop, and then returned the car to her the same day. I was very pleased with their service and would highly recommend them.

The BEST place to get your auto glass repairs done. I was quoted a crazy amount from my insurance company when my wildsheild was cracked. I called McCain and was met with such a positive and friendly voice. Mrs. Pat provided me with the best customer serivce. When I got Covid and had to reschedule, her and her husband were empathetic and understanding. Once I was better, they were accomodating in resheculing my appointment ASAP. Deserving of all the glowing reviews! Had my driver window fractured and they had me in the next morning when all of their competitors couldn't get to me within the week. They were also $70 cheaper than the closest quote for the one window. Not only did they finish in half the time they quoted me, they kept me full of coffee and awesome stories surrounding the cool cars they have in the shop. So glad to see shops like this still exist!
