I've been driving for almost 20 years. I've never so much as chipped a windshield. So when it happened I called Safelite. The person I talked to was incredibly rude. Then after they had my car for an hour they call to tell me the tried installing the wrong model windshield, so I have to miss a day of work due to their negligence. After that, about a week later a teeny tiny scratch approx 1"" long appears in the black outline of the windshield, when I call to get it looked it they say it must have been a rock and they won't fix it unless I replace the whole windshield again. When I did their survey and asked to be contacted because at this point that's obnoxious. I have been nothing but polite and understanding but I figured it's been long enough for them to reach out and that tiny scratch is now too long to fix and will actually need to replace the windshield so thanks a lot.

Do not EVER take your vehicle here. Brought my car in for a small crack in the windshield and left with my entire car broken. My light/sunroof sensor was halfway coming off, the back of my mirror was TAPED together and was clearly just left broken. Had a technician come to our house and he told us they clearly broke the parts and tried taping them back together. Told us he would order new parts and get back to us within a week to fix it free of charge. Now 2 weeks later, have yet to hear anything from the technician. Called the customer service and they state that they “do not order parts” and need to figure it out with the dealership. Was told we would be receiving a call in 24-48 hours. Worst experience ever. Wish I could post the pictures here for everyone to see.

I had a really bad experience with the Lockport location they do a half ass job like not sealing the windshield properly, send someone to look at their mistake and tell you the condensation on the inside of car should have been dried when the air conditioner should have kicked on automatically, it’s not a de humidifier and when you have video and picture proof they blame you for it anyways. When i told the Clinton location what they said to me and how they treated me at the Lockport location they re- assured me that they will do job the right and took extra steps to make sure that it was done right. They were more friendlier and knew what they were talking about. I should have went to the Clinton location from the beginning and highly recommend going there

Had a huge crack in my windshield window and made a an appointment through the GEICO app which was REALLY EASY..went in on time soon as I got there. Guy at the desk told me it was gonna take about an hour in a half to two hours..but needed up being about an hour in a half. Actually got the email about when it was going to be done which was cool too! Once job was completed, technician was nice and approachable! Only down side was I wasn’t able to wash my car which I was planning on to cause it was such a nice and Sunny day outside..which also okay. Just know you can’t wash your car for about 24hrs and or two days.. Not sure what else they do there besides fix windows on your car but I would go back for glass related services. Thank you Safelite!!

Went to them because it was convenient for them to come to us. The guy that came didn't know what he was doing. He installed the glass wrong ..could no longer see the Vin number, passenger side wiper no longer touched the glass, top of the windshield had a gap in corners. Called to have it fixed right but when they came out, they said it was the wiper that was the problem and tried to push it to touch the glass. Then he thought he broke the wiper arm and said he would replace it... a month later he is just calling to replace a arm that didn't need replacing. Also another windshield shop fixed the windshield properly and we have no issues. definitely won't be using safelite again

Had warranty work, takes 5 hours for them to tell me my computer is broke and they can’t calibrate and to go to dealership in Feb. I go to dealer and they recalibrate no problem and lets me know safelite is always doing this to subaru’s. I paid dealer and have been getting ignored from safelite who is supposed to reimburse me. I have spoken to the receptionist who assured me their manager is going to give me a call and I never receive the call. It is now middle of march without one word from the manager. This has been terrible service and I would not recommend anyone to go here, I only did because my insurance company made me thru the claim. I am out of options and patience.

$700 appointment Paid for in advance and They never showed up! The appointment was set between 1p and 6p. We received the reminder email this morning with the name of the technician arriving and that was the last communication. Once it approached 5p we called the 800 number to confirm. The representative on the phone confirmed the appointment was still going to be completed. 6p rolled around and still no follow up or communication. Called around for the next hour trying to reach someone but their offices all closed at 5p according the website. Very disappointing and aggravating. Attempting to get refund for the service as we speak.

Got a chip on my winsheild and a few weeks later probably about a foot and a half Crack from bottom to half way up. Called insurance since I do have glass coverage. They asked who I'd like to go to. Stated safelite, since they filled a previous chip. They called right away to schedule an appointment, got in opening this morning 9/26. Dropped car off gentleman was very kind and pleasant. He gave some pointers like no car wash for a few days and gently closing the doors. Was great to work with. As of right now glass looks great!! DO NOT GO HERE. Had my broken window replaced. Technician did a lazy job cleaning broken glass out of the window frame. This caused the new window to not go up/down correctly. It made a grinding sound from all of the pieces of broken glass left inside and it burned out the window motor. The motor broke an hour after the repair was finished. (My car is less than 2 years old) When I contacted safelite they claimed that they were not at fault and could do nothing about it. These people are not well trained and the customer service is awful. Spend the extra money and go to a dealership/ local auto glass place

DO NOT GO HERE! I came here for a simple windshield replacement and had to come back 4 times because it wasn’t sealed correctly, sensors were not calibrated correctly, and they put on the wrong type of windshield all together. After complaining every time the woman always had a response on how they have had such a hard day and it’s so busy and so many complaints. Well now I know why. So I am putting in an insurance claim to have to get this fixed because it’s still wrong. Do not waste your time or money here.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
