If I could give zero stars for this business I would. I was quoted $139 for a windshield replacement on my 2018 Jeep, then after I drop off my vehicle I get a call saying that the windshield was now going to be $369, or $399 for the Mopar replacement. Why the extra $300 from original quote, who knows, but I needed to get it done before the weekend. So fine, and an extra $30 to make it original since it was a brand new Jeep. I drive it straight home, which is literally 5 min away, and park it. The next morning, there is a crack in the windshield. Called Discount and they said it is a stress crack and they will bring it to Gilbert's attention and he'll call us back and they'll get it replaced. He never called us back and we had a trip to Colorado that weekend. Of course we bring the Jeep because it's winter and they just had a major snowstorm. We get back from our weekend trip and call on Monday to get it replaced. Gilbert says to bring it in and blames the crack on a rock chip even though there were no rock hits when we drove it home. He refused to replace the windshield after we just paid over $400, and it cracks overnight. We then take the jeep to a local competitor, and they said there was no way a rock chip caused the crack. And they quote me $139 for the windshield replacement which was the original cost at Discount. My family and I used to refer a lot of people to this business as we are loyal customers, but will never send anyone here again.

Went to have my windshield replaced, great! Got there and they had the wrong windshield ok understandable. Went back the next day, waited some time for it to be replaced. Finished it and I was happy to have it finally fixed. A few days later I noticed leaks in the inside of the windshield. Took it back and was made out to seem like I was a liar. There’s no consistent water streaks or stains is what I was told, but we will “fix,” it. Great! I already felt uncomfortable at that point. Left and noticed a chip on the front windshield but at that point I didn’t have time to turn around and go back. Took a photo went back the next day and was told that it was no way made by them and that usually chips happen a lot when going to Albuquerque. I’ve literally had the windshield for seven days. I’m just done. To many issues, and to much time wasted going back and forth. Taking my Rogue, Nissan for windshield replacement and all around tint. Had appointment on Monday and was cancelled, are appointment for service was overbooked, so now today is the day Wednesday the 31st and hope everything goes well. Gilbert Ty for your response on my first review. We have a business card with owner Alan Gutierrez, with your employees written description of what we were asking for, and employee was very well aware that Nissan Rogue had a previous tint and employee suggested a new tint applied over the old to save some money was his suggestion. We were scheduled for the day my husband took car iin wich was Monday 29th. We have nothing to do with your miscommunication on scheduling and employee not being direct on the light tint we already had, but wanted it darker do to the heat and intense sun rays. We are very satisfied with the work that was finally done the following Wednesday.

I took our Dodge Ram in to get an estimate on replacing and 'recalibrating' our windshield. My initial contact was with Willie who gathered all the necessary information on our vehicle and promptly called to let me know costs and timing. I brought the truck in shortly thereafter and the work was completed without a hitch. When it came time to pay, Gilbert (owner) told me as it turned out, no recalibration was necessary and therefore the $350 cost associated with it would not be charged. Gilbert easily could have charged me for that cost as I would have had no idea he wasn't able to recalibrate. Discount Auto is to be commended for being very fair while doing excellent and timely work. If I ever need another windshield replaced (or any other work that Discount Auto does), I will definitely be going to Discount Auto Glass & Glazing. Thank you Willie & Gilbert!

Awesome! First, let me say Discount Auto Glass was recommended by Don Juan Body Shop. I really appreciated the referral. The price quoted for a windshield was extremely reasonable. I was told the windshield installation would take two hours. I was in and out in less than an hour. I also expected to have to wait a week or more for Discount Auto Glass to acquire the windshield for my 10 year old Toyota. I was able to have the job done within 24 hours of my call. And lastly, I have to say the two gentlemen who took care of me were extremely friendly and conveyed they appreciated my business. I don't hear that much in today's society. My car was broken into and the side power window smashed to pieces. I called Discount glass and asked when their next available appointment was. I told it was 2 days from the day I was calling. I was emotional at the time and tried to keep it together while the man asked questions so he'd know what to order for the repair. He then told me he could have it by the next morning and squeezed me in to get the repair done, knowing it was going to snow that day. I am beyond appreciative and could not express my gratitude enough. Out if the three places I called Discount Auto Glass was the least expensive. Service was great from both owners and techs. They replaced my windshield very quickly. I decided not to do tinting as they required my vehicle for the whole day. With that being said, one of the technicians broke my door handle and later I noticed chipped paint in several areas around my windshield. Now, they did replace and install a new door handle free of charge. Also I don't really mind the chipped paint as it is an older vehicle. But, I will not be returning with any of my vehicles due to the carelessness from the techs.

I had a wonderful experience getting my windshield replaced! Everyone was very friendly, the service was insanely fast (less than an hour!) and SO reasonably priced. I first got a quote from Safelite and they quoted me $370, at Discount Auto Glass and Glazing, including tax I paid $250 AND got to support a local business. I live in ABQ but would gladly drive to Santa Fe 5 times over for any other repairs I need! Called around for a quote for auto glass. Discount was the least expensive. I made an appointment for a Monday, knew I would not make it and rescheduled for a Friday. Spoke with two different employees, each very informative and professional. I went in and within 10 minutes they were busy putting on the glass. The quote was exact plus tax. ..They were timely expedient and professional. It took approximately an hour, I must admit that the waiting room, although clean and comfortable was kind of hidden and I felt slightly boxed in.

I was initially quoted $193 over the phone to replace my windshield. Because I provided wrong information, they had to order different type of windshield. I was thinking the price might jump higher than what was originally quoted, but it was actually $20 cheaper than my initial quote. I was surprised because most businesses tries to take as much money as they can from the customers. So I appreciate their honesty, hope I don’t have to replace anymore windshields in the future but if I do I’ll go to this place. I recommend this shop 💯%
