Carsten Auto Glass

My son is a student at MSU and had the glass broken in his sunroof. I was 2 hours away and called Carsten Auto Glass first thing in the morning and spoke with Paul. He was very helpful and assured me he would take care of my son. After assessing the damage to the sunroof, he quickly called me back. He was able to research that the sunroof was under recall and that most likely it would be repaired for free if we called the company to file a claim. He also explained that Carsten was not an authorized dealer to perform the work and I would need to take the car to another company for the repair. Paul exhibited excellent customer service when he let me know about the recall and didn't just charge me $600 for the new glass. He also referred me to the proper repair shop without hesitation. There was no way I would have ever found out about the recall on my own. I thank him for his honestly and professionalism. I don't live in Springfield, but if I did I would use Carsten again without reservation.

Local thieves busted out my window. I was referred to them by my main mechanic shop. I brought my own window to Carstens to have installed. The folks there called me within 15 minutes and let me know the window wasn't compatible (I had taken another business' word for it). I came right over and they showed me how far off it was. The guy in the shop was very helpful in showing me how to install one myself if I was going to do it, and left the door panel off at my request. The office manager decided to only charge me a 1/3 of the original fee and offered to credit that toward a future install if I don't end up doing it myself. I thought that was perfect reasoning. I fully intended on paying for their time thus far, but to charge the full amount may have been irrational. They were reasonable and personable. (as a side note, I don't think I'm going to end up being able to get another window, so chances are, I'll be giving them my business on a full replacement) I'd recommend them for anyone.

Had my windshield replaced on 7-26-16 when I arrived home I noticed some residue marks that I began to remove wich was not a big deal they removed verry easily. When I got to the passenger side of the vehicle I noticed a scratch about a inch and a half long that was all the way threw the paint to the metal of truck when I called they ask to bring it back when they looked at it they said they didn't know how that could have happened and all they can do is get some touch up paint and cover it. My review is based on that a 400.00 dollar windshield later and now my 2016 truck has a scratch that they will cover up and pay the 20.00 for the touch up paint but nothing else was offered no money back nothing but touch up paint and seemed like they didn't want to admit it was their fault anyways. On closing I will just end and say I would not recommend or get service from here agin

I had an amazing experiance here. No appointment, straight walk in they had my truck in in 2 hours and back window completely replaced in 30 minutes. You aren't getting that service from any big corporations out there, besides I MUCH PREFER supporting local SMALL business like this over any large nationwide corporations, guys like this don't have the advertising budget of bigger corporations and they could use the business. More small business is beneficial to everyone. Sorry for the rant, just very thankful for your amazing service!! Happy to support you, and I will be back in the future!

Carstens is amazing I made the mistake of trying to use safelite. But they saved me. I went to safe lite and they first smoked my clutch, then took my glass out and then claimed they couldn't put a new one in because of rust which was almost non existent. I took it straight from safe lite to Carstens and they were amazing. They pulled it in the shop on the spot no appointment(and had no problem shifting the truck). They were friendly and quick to help. They were able install my windshield in under an hour. Great local business!!!! I would give ten stars if given the option.

Excellent service!! Highly recommend!! The trim moldings on my Honda Odyssey came loose and I ordered replacements through Don Wessel. Before install they realized it required a special adhesive they didn’t have in stock, so they sent me over to Carsten’s. Carsten’s got me in quickly and installed the windshield moldings in 30 minutes! Plus, they didn’t charge me for the install! What?!? Wow! Incredible service that went above and beyond expectations! I’ll be using Carsten Auto Glass for all my auto glass needs from here on out!

Had a broken window on our house, and when they came to deliver the window was the wrong color. Called Julie to ask how long it would take to get a new window since it's been below freezing outside and she explained I could take my business somewhere else because they no longer have someone who does home installation and the gentleman they had today had to come from KC, when it's was ordered wrong from the start. Glad to know they are doing so well they can send business elsewhere.

Just wanted to send out a big thank you to Carsten auto glass at the Glenstone shop. They repaired a chip in my windshield this morning for one of our Limousines. The tech was great did an excellent job and was very helpful to my questions. He got me fixed up in a short time and had me on my way. The office attendant was great she got me right in and let me know if we needed anything else please let them know. Great experience with great staff. Thank again. Kelly.

I went to Carstons to get my car window looked at, and to see how much it would cost to get fixed. They were very friendly and most helpful I don't know the mans name but he fixed my window in about 20 mins free of charge i checked a couple other places to get estimates, 250.00 to 300.00 to get fixed. This wonderful person helped me free of charge I just wanted to say thank you, there are not many people like you in the world today .

I was very impressed with Carstens Autoglass. They were the first to respond to my inquiry and offered the best pricing. After my windshield was replaced, an unseen issue came up that nobody initially noticed, and Paul, the manager, took care of it at no extra cost. The customer service was excellent, and I truly appreciate their honesty and professionalism. Highly recommend and we will be using them in the future!
