A1 Windshield Repair

One of the most solid companies I have dealt with in a long time! I have had two windshields replaced by A1. We had an issue with one after it was installed. Prepared for the current business environment of slimy cell phone providers in which businesses always want to deny anything is wrong or skirt around their responsibility in it, I cannot tell you how refreshing it was when Brook took the call asked us to come back in and they would fixe it without another word. A1 is a relic of what customer service used to be. Not only cheerful and professional, but they stand behind their work. That my friends, is how you earn a customer’s loyalty. Not real happy. The windshield installer did not fasten properly the plastic molding in front of the windshield under the hood and at highway speeds there is a loud knocking noise and all of the rivets were not put back in the holes to fasten the molding down therefore when the wind hits it it makes a knocking noise really loud when driving and usually my Volvo S 80 is a very quiet car but not anymore! Now the windshield I’m happy with and I should be for $400 but I’m just not happy with the molding that was not put back professionally. I had a great experience with this business! After my windshield was cracked, I called 2 companies. A1 was half the cost of their competitor and they got me in within a week! Once there, everyone was very friendly and courteous and gave me updates as to how much longer it would be. The price that was quoted was the price I paid! Absolute Old School! Honest, Professional, 5yr. Warranty on installation. The installer actually shakes the customers hand. The installer removed broken rear window. Took the time to cut out the veteran decals on rear window. Installer stated it be disrespectful to throw the decals, and passed them along to me. The ultimate sign of respect! This company has been around over forty years. Finally a business that kept the craftsmanship of the industry!

Moved to Missouri in December during the snow storm and my windshield suffered a major crack that needed repaired. Was recommended this place by one of the local Jiffy Lube employees- staff was friendly and they got my vehicle in within the same week (had to order parts). At the time of my appointment they fixed it within an hour and they give you a warranty which is super nice in case there is any damage or issues

The people who work here are really kind, they got me a quote on my windshield replacement very quickly and got me in within that week. Super fast work and the most reasonable prices in Springfield. My biggest concern was they broke the weather strip on the driver side and said nothing about it, I assume so they aren’t financially responsible but it would’ve been cool to get a heads up.

Called for an estimate and got an appointment for two days later. Mobile techs showed up AND completed the job before my scheduled time. Fast and cheap is the only reason it’s not a one star. Windshield is mounted about a quarter inch lower than it should be and they didn’t replace my wipers properly which led to them rubbing against the hood which chipped the paint. My family has had problems with lack of attention to detail with this group in the past. I should have listened to them.

After calling several places this was the lowest estimate I had! They were quick to get me in and service took less than an hour. New windshield looks great car was kept clean and I even had a freshly made cup of coffee while waiting. Staff are super friendly. They offer a great warranty too. I will certainly be back if I ever need the service again.

By far the best local glass shop in the Springfield, MO area. They provide an excellent service at a great price! They were half the cost of the other big name competitors. I will most definitely come back the next time I need a glass repair and I will most definitely recommend them to all local Jeep groups! Thank you for the excellent service!
