I wish I could select a "0" star!!! Extremely poor customer service, zero management skills, and overall team control! According to Google, weekend business hours are 8 am to 3 pm. Arrived at the shop Saturday at 8:10 am. Attempted to open the business door and it was locked - no answer. Noticed a key box, placed my keys accordingly, and took off. After an hour or so, still no call from Pro Guard Auto Glass with any confirmation or acknowledgment that the job had begun. Thus, I had to reach out to the business to confirm my keys were found and that the work would start. Luis confirmed all is well and my car would be complete before 3 pm. Arrived back at Pro Guard ready to pick up my car and pay for the service $260 - $240 for front window replacement and $25 for wipers). Elias or Luis was at the front desk and had zero knowledge of how to operate the credit card machine. While patiently waiting for my transaction, I'm reviewing my invoice and realized the printed amount is incorrect - the price was less than what I should be paying. Faithfully, I spoke up and he was unsure what charge was accurate. I explained it should be $25 more because I received new windshield wipers. He went outside to confirm with the technician, a new invoice was printed and everything was paid for. Now, I walk out to my car and inspect the window (first mistake - I should have examined it before paying). I notice my inspection sticker is completely missing but my mileage sticker is present. Being in their industry, it should be COMMON KNOWLEDGE ANY sticker should be PROPERLY peeled off and stuck back on after the job is complete! While still in the parking lot, I notify immediately and one of the techs comes out to the car and hands me an entirely torn sticker and is almost chuckling. So, now I have to take time out of my day, set up an appointment, and repay for an inspection sticker that was perfectly fine before heading to this FRAUDULENT "business". Sure the initial service was cheaper - compared to reputable businesses in the area - but clearly in the long run it was not!ServicesAuto windshield replacement

I guess they are manipulating the reviews. I left a review 3-weeks ago. Somehow, it was removed. So, I am writing the same thing here again. They left a comment on my review before it was deleted. The comment was that everything was my problem, not their problem. I just got service, and how can it be my problem? The removed review is like below. ================================ If you are considering a chip or crack repair, this is not a place for you. You will end up paying the whole windshield change price. Even though you want a repair, they will quote for the whole glass change first. If they do, stay away from the store. I visited there to fix a small chip in the windshield. But a lady in the office kept saying me the whole glass change price. I did not take the hint at the moment, but I knew why she did that after few minutes. They pulled my car into their garage, and a few minutes later, they came back with a crack that even got worse. And they ask me to replace the whole glass again. ================================NegativeQualityServicesAuto glass repair

Poor management and worse customer service. I had a 3pm appointment and watched 3 different customers arrive unannounced and work diagnosed/started/completed ahead of me. I am patient person but had to wait 3 hours?! 6PM rush hour traffic! Then, I was told after my windshield was replaced, Sorry we broke your antenna and this is a common thing I was told. How about spend 30 seconds to unscrew the 12" high antenna that is clearly in the way of a new windshield being installed! We will have to reschedule you to come back and fix the antenna. This never happened as I was outright lied to several times with various excuses: Didn't arrive yet, lost it, I will reorder another, etc. Never received a call back that the new one arrived. Once I recognized this and the incompetence I went ahead and fixed it myself. Smooth talkers with no substance. Never go there again! The person that worked on the truck must have been laying on the wet ground all day. My seat was soaking wet !! UUGGH!&@#!!ServicesAuto windshield repair

ProGuard was recommended by a friend. I had a leak on my rear glass. Of course it also had rear heat sensors in it. The techs advised me the glass was not put in previously correctly and would like me to come back the next day. They were going to make sure there was a replacement glass just in case it broke upon removal. The next day I came back. I was then told the previous installer had soidered my rear heat sensors to the glass. Looked like it wasn't going to get fixed. HOWEVER...after a few minutes I was advised the tech used a heat gun to loosen the soider so the glass could be removed. The tech was great. My rear glass was resealed with hopefully no more water leaks. Michael (front office) was great. He kept me appraised every step of the way. I have to say for my first time here...It truly was a great experience!!!! Thanks to the tech guy for fast thinking and the great customer service!!!!! I would recommend this place. Oh AND they do window tinting...Return trip coming soon!!!!!

I was in PG County and someone decided to bust my window to look through my console. I contacted a very popular auto glass repair company, they were on the expensive side and didn’t have an available appointment for a week. I found Pro Guard by doing an internet search and since they had good reviews, I decided to give them a try. They were able to replace my windshield the same day the incident occurred and at half the price of the larger, more popular company and they did a great job. Thanks Pro Guard Auto Glass, y’all really helped me out of a tight spot. If not for you guys, I would have had to wait a week to get my car repaired which would have left me in a vulnerable position of having my car exposed with just a plastic bag to cover the damage. I really appreciate y’all timeliness and professionalism!

First off, the GPS to this place takes you way past the garage. I ended up being 15 min due to that issue. When I arrive the lady at the front desk tells me well since you were running late its gonna be longer for him to take your car back because we took someone else instead. As an independent contractor I don't see that as fair when you have a 1 and a half hour window to actually do the job. Earlier that day I was called to come in earlier than the actual appointment and it made all types of sense they over booked. When I spend large sums of money on my car ANYWHERE and its an appointment I expect to be seen on the time of arrival. Who's fault is it that your address is wrong? Or so to speak off GPS? Will not recommend. By the way I'm new to the area.

The back window of one of our cars was shattered by a golf ball early Friday evening. The following morning I called ProGuard around 11am. I was given an incredibly reasonable estimate (I had checked with a few other places before calling ProGuard) over the phone. They also mentioned that they could take the car at 11:30am (no other place that I had contacted offered same day replacement) and have the job completed within in a few hours. As they promised, the job was completed in a few hours. We picked up the car around 2:30pm. INCREDIBLE SERVICE and at a GREAT price!!!! I highly recommend this place and definitely would go back to them if the need arose!!!PositivePunctuality, Quality, Professionalism, ValueServicesAuto rear window replacement

Safelite quoted me at 430 dollars for a Subaru Impreza 2016 sedan base model. Pro Guard charged me only 300 dollars. Safelite is all automated with phone calls, pro guard had a young lady on the phone who was quick to help and provide a quote. Safelite said it would take all day to get my windshield replaced, pro guard said it would take 2 hours or so and they did not lie. The worker took the time out to explain after working on my car on what to expect and what to do etc. long story short if you need a replacement for a fair price hop on over to Pro Guard give them a chance immediately today.ServicesAuto windshield replacement

My husband and I got our windshield replaced here, my husband wanted to get an specific windshield with a shade on top and they found it and gave us an appointment right away, it was perfect, the prices were amazing, they explained everything to us step by step and we loved the professionalism that they treated us with. My mother in law had her car windshield broken for couple months already, she never had the time or companies will never accommodate to her schedule but these guys did, gave her an appointment so she could get it fixed at her most convenient time, prices were really fair and service is awesome. Thank you guys

Had a huge crack in my windshield from a highway rock and went through so many “well known” companies for quotes but they all quoted no less than $360. I called after reading the reviews and they were able to schedule me within 2 days and gave me an excellent price quote. I arrived a bit early but they were ready to take my truck immediately. Everyone was friendly and courteous keeping me updated the whole way through. After about 2 hours my truck was fixed and shiny! I’ll definitely recommend you all to anyone who needs their auto glass repaired! Thanks for such a speedy and courteous service!
