Thanks to a semi side dumper on Hwy 44 leaving one of the many Eagle construction sites, a 1 inch rock left a nasty 2.5 inch spiral crack in our windshield, so I went shopping for windshields. Matt at Patriot Auto Glass in Star was great - good communication, prompt responses, arrived at my home in when planned and with a heads up before arriving. He took deliberate care when removing the old and installing the new windshield on our 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee, without scratching or marking nearby paint, upholstery or sensors (the Jeep windshield has integrated camera and rain sensors). Matt was also competitive in pricing - saved me quite a bit compared to the corporate places that advertise all over the place, and I like supporting local when possible. On top of that, showing his integrity, he actually charged me less than the quote because calibration was easier than expected. I like cars and I’m more mechanically inclined than most, but I would not have known, and it was much appreciated…integrity and excellent customer service! Obviously I highly recommend Matt at Patriot Auto Glass and I will be using him again soon for another vehicle with a cracked windshield. Dealing with Matt was an absolute pleasure! Quality of work and communication is among the best I’ve experienced in this line of work, if not the best. He works efficiently, but not rushed. If he misses your call, he calls back. If he’s close to arriving to your appointment, you’ll hear from him. Matt is very detail oriented with his work, clearly taking pride in the end result, and leaves a very clean workspace. He has decades of experience, and it shows in the way he operates… despite this experience, you still feel treated as a very valuable customer. While pricing is usually one of the first factors we look at when hunting for a service like this, it’s the workmanship and post-install support that you’re left with once the job is complete - and that’s really what makes the difference. With that said, his pricing is competitive enough against the others that I called, but it was his professionalism and demeanor by phone that had me contact him back to book an appointment. I was fortunate to meet Matt at Patriot Auto Glass last week. Of all the places I called, I’m so thankful I chose Matt. He changed the back window to my truck which I accidentally broke while empty a load at the dump. Matt is real stand up guy. He gave me the best price for my back window and took care of a windshield chip on another car. I’m pretty sure that I was the last service call for the day, but you would have never known it. Matt was cheerful, took the time to engage in some real life conversation and provided excellent customer service. It’s more than just turning a profit for Matt. He will not cover a lifetime warranty on my glass then falsely accuses me of yanking off the rear view mirror, a 62 year old woman with a hip injury , on a walker. While visiting grandkids in another state. Really!! I will go after him when we return to idaho. How dare you defame me. ORIGINALLY he said he was responsible for it because of the warranty, he told me to get bids but not to go to safelite for the bids. I sent 3 then I never heard another word back. I am at a auto glass place in another state getting it changed on my dime. This is bull since I have a warranty not honored by the company that put it in. STAY AWAY !!!@@ THEY DONT HONOR THIER WARRANTY....from a disabled grandmother... SHAME ON THIS COMPANY.

I called around to check pricing of a full windshield replacement for my car. Matt was not only the fastest to respond with an exact amount, including everything, but he was also the best price! He scheduled a time to come out to my house and was there exactly on time, as he said he would be, and even gave me updates as he was on his way. He did a complete replacement in no time, and not only was I blown away at the work he did, but it came with even better customer service and true professionalism! I am so thankful to have found Patriot and will have no hesitation calling them, and only them, for any of my auto glass needs. I received an auto replacement glass quote from Matt, and was able to set-up an appointment with a 1-hour window within 2 days of my contact. Thirty minutes into that window, Matt was running behind and let me know he would be there in 30 minutes, which was very helpful. Matt was very personable, and in about 45 minutes, he was finished with the replacement, and everything looked good. Fantastic experience with Matt at Patriot Glass! I have used another prominent autoglass company in the past, but was unhappy with the results. My windshield picked up a slight whistle that was very annoying while driving. So, when my windshield cracked recently, I called Patriot Glass. Communication was spot on. Matt is amazing, he was able to do what most glass shops can't or just wouldn't do, he not only managed to get a hard to find windshield for my 1974 Ford Pinto Racecar, and got it in record time (not an easy task on these old windshields). He managed to reuse my newer gasket and made it look easy, no damage, was even able to remove the new mirror mount so I could get my GoPro back to where it was mounted. Good guy, fair price, quick service, can't ask for more. Was even willing to come all the way out to Homedale for less than a few Caldwell Shops.

I'm very impressed with Matt's work and his friendliness and quick response. It was very convenient that he came to my place of business to repair my windshield and was very punctual and efficient getting it done. He also made sure everything was done correctly, and if it wasn't to give him a call. He also had a really great rate to have the windshield replaced compared to others here in the Treasure Valley.
