Terrible customer service at this place. The first issue I noticed was that complete disconnect between the online reservation system and actual reality. I had gone to their site Sunday and offered a Monday between noon-5 timeslot. I set it up and received my confirmation. (Side note, they don't actually include the cost of molding in the quote, but the site doesn't tell you this until you've already submitted and received a confirmation). I got a phone call Monday morning from them saying the earliest they could do was Tuesday unless I brought it down, even though the site for some reason said they would be here on Monday. OK, whatever, not ideal but I said Tuesday would be fine. The lady told me to give them a call around 9AM so they could give me a more precise time to expect them here. So Tuesday (today)/rolls around, and they call me around 8:30 to ask if I was bringing my van in today since I didn't do it yesterday. Wait, what? I was told they'd be out today to fix it at my house! The woman (different woman than yesterday) argued with me and said I never set up an appointment for service here at my house and that's why they aren't coming out, but could come as early as tomorrow. At this point I told her I'd rather not play that game anymore and I would find somebody in the area that will actually be here when they tell me they'll be here. I recommend everyone else do the same. Possibly saving a few bucks is not worth the hassle of dealing with this place.

We had the front drivers side window replaced in an Audi A4 and not only did they break the door handle on the interior of the door, not even 3 months later the window wiring is now completely fried and the window will no longer go up or down! Called the company and they said that there was nothing they could do. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE, not only did they break multiple things in the door they refuse to help with the problems that are now happening because of a botch replacement job. thank god I have a cousin who is an Audi mechanic or we would be royally screwed!! I was on my way into work this am and sure enough a rock hit my windshield. A good 3 in. diameter circle I'd guess... My daughter is due to get her license tomorrow and we all know CT DMV will not allow a cracked windshield. I called Payless as soon as I got to work and I spoke with Steve. He was a pleasure to deal with. He listened to my situation, told me to bring it right in. He contacted my insurance for me, and 2 hours later my car was ready for pickup. My car was just as I left it with a clean new windshield that appears to be exactly what I had and they even cleaned my rear view mirror and re-stuck my oil change sticker. I will recommend Payless Glass to anyone I speak with that needs glass replacement. Steve, thank you for your fantastic customer service!!!

I'm disappointed. My body shop used Payless for a windshield replacement and we literally had THREE windshields that were scratched. Most likely a supplier/warehouse issue, but the issue is that neither installer (there were 2) who came out noticed the scratches on the glass, they just installed without even examining the windshield prior to install. I kept the last scratched windshield because I couldn't wait any longer. The last windshield installed Payless forgot the upper gasket on my car, fortunately it's water-tight but I can't say I'd recommend these guys, they are too busy and got too much going on. Ordered the gasket from my Acura dealer, installed it, and am moving on.

3 days of phone tag, and its still not fixed. Filed online it bounced the order between 2 offices. One called telling me the cant do it , then 3 hrs later a tech calls and says hes at my house and wont wait. Nobody call , no verified appointment. Call in they hang up 3 times (like they don't know how to use the multi line phone) so I email and get ..." YOU HAVE APPOINTMENT FOR TOMORROW" as my response. Terrible in house communication and its been 3 days and the obstructing , safety compliant issue that im sure my insurance company has paid for already is still BROKEN. Do yourself a favor and call safelite, used them before never had an issue!

Whatever you do, don’t make the same mistake we ALMOST made! Make sure to include Payless Auto Glass in your comparison shopping. Use the money you save for other things. Call Payless Auto Glass for a Competing Quote. Safelite Auto Glass was asking almost 10X more money for the exact same job. Thank you, Steve and Todd at Payless! Being our first auto glass replacement experience, we wanted to be confident we were getting a good “value match.” Steve at Payless set everything up with Hoffman Auto Group, where we met Todd, who completed the work in less than 45 minutes. Thank you, Steve and Todd! Couldn't have been any easier.

I scheduled my work through insurance on a Friday and I was told to arrive by 8:30 which I did. I sat there all day watching car after car arrive after with their repair or replacement complete before mine. Then I was told that they couldn't find my window. I had to go back the next day. They did a poor temporary replacement with wrap. I sat there on Monday for several hours again. The replacement window was good but they neglected to vacuum or clean up. I've used them several times for cracked windows or the windshield . I was not very happy with this time. I'm not sure I'll go back again.

Prepare to wait. Customer service very unprofessional. The place needs new management. Got there at 9:30am it’s a first come first serve kind of deal. Sat there all morning, work was finally done around noon. Had some scuff marks in my car from the employees installing the glass. There was small shards of glass on my door panel, seat, and the floor, my windshield wasn’t crack. I guess when they cut the window off ( I watched them do that) small pieces of glass sprinkled everywhere. I have children. The least they could of done was vacuum the mess they made. Super disappointed

Place is an absolute joke. The lady just took me off hold while having a conversation with her boss and was talking about what the job entailed. She told me you have to replace all the glass for the back of my dodge window and it would be 950$ , when i got an online quote for 355. During the conversation she was having with her boss while i was "on hold" she said it was 400 and they could just replace the left side that was damaged but to replace everything. Payless autoglass is a bunch of liars and frauds. Do not go there!

I cannot say enough great things about my experience at Payless Auto Glass. It was my first time dealing with a cracked windshield. They helped me fix my front windshield fast and on the same day. Greg, walked me through the process and had me in and out in under 2 hours. Rob is an excellent technician and did a great job with my windshield. It’s been a few months now and my windshield is just like new. Excellent job!
