He was great had an older car that needed a windshield and he delivered. Prompt almost same day service because they were closed on the weekend but he delivered on Monday. Workmanship was perfect. He was very courteous and knowledgeable with everything. I recommend them over anyone else!

Well I must say I stand corrected. After this review was posted late on a Friday afternoon, I got a call from the manager, who arranged to have the work done Friday night. Not only did the technician show up, BUT the manager as well. They worked quickly and effectively to calibrate the cameras in the windshield and gave me a gift card for the inconvenience. I was completely satisifed with the service recovery and would use them again. Some things never change including the complete and utter incompetence of this company. First they scheduled then cancelled the morning of my first appointment. Second, the windshield installer informed me that, after he finally showed up, second appointment, that the windshield had to be calibrated and that as soon as he closed out his part of the ticket, the person to calibrate would automatically be notified and show up. Hours later NO CALL, I called the Company and was told the "ticket" didn't have calibration on it and they would call me right back and come out today to finish the job, THEY NEVER CALLED BACK OR SHOWED UP. I called twice, later in the day, first time was on hold for 13 minutes, even thought the automated system stated that there was a one minute backlog. Then got a person, who had to transfer me and conveniently hung up on me. Called back on hold for another 15 minutes, even thought the automated system stated that there was a one minute backlog, then got cut off again. Called back a 3rd time at 4.59 and got the answering service. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE.PositiveProfessionalismServicesAuto windshield replacement

Incredibly KNOWLEDGLEABLE, Friendly Prompt service. This the 2nd time I utilize thier services and each time the service is Amazing and Above average as they go above and beyond to assist during these rough times! The Tech that came out to replace my window did it swift professional and friendly service! The tech even cleaned up the glass that fell off the replacement windows and did not leave niethier my jobs items nor my vehicle so the glass would not fly into my children's face. I was on my way into work this am and sure enough a rock hit my windshield. A good 3 in. diameter circle I'd guess... My daughter is due to get her license tomorrow and we all know CT DMV will not allow a cracked windshield. I called Payless as soon as I got to work and I spoke with Steve. He was a pleasure to deal with. He listened to my situation, told me to bring it right in. He contacted my insurance for me, and 2 hours later my car was ready for pickup. My car was just as I left it with a clean new windshield that appears to be exactly what I had and they even cleaned my rear view mirror and re-stuck my oil change sticker. I will recommend Payless Glass to anyone I speak with that needs glass replacement. Steve, thank you for your fantastic customer service!!!

I stopped in to Steben’s on Monday (2/18/19). I had just got the front bumper of my SUV fixed elsewhere and it was a disaster. I stopped in and told Pauli about my dilemma and asked (just about begged) he help me out. He agreed with my opinion and even pointed out what the other place did wrong. The paint was still wet, they didn’t use a hardener, and the most obvious issue was it did not match. It was 3 shades different than the rest of the car. Pauli was hesitant to work on the bumper since he knew the paint that was used on it was cheap. He was concerned he might not be able to salvage the bumper. Knowing I had just paid another place for my nightmare he worked on the price and promised me I’d leave content when I picked up the car. I went to pick up my car today and Pauli delivered! I’ll rephrase that - Pauli went above and beyond. The bumper was fixed exactly as promised. The color was a perfect match! I would’ve been overjoyed if it ended there, but it didn’t. They even cleaned the outside of the car and dressed the wheels. Did I leave a body shop or a detail shop?! Lol. If you need to get any body work done on your car don’t think twice about it - Steben’s is where you want to go. They’re priced perfectly and deliver a result that’s worth more than you pay.
