Mike's Auto Glass

I recently contacted Mikes Auto Glass to inquire about a specific part for my car. They confirmed they had the part and quoted me a price of $450. However, when I arrived the next day, I was initially treated as if I was in the wrong place and told they didn't install the part I needed. After some back-and-forth, they eventually confirmed they had the part and asked me to pull my car up for inspection. I also noticed signs indicating that they only accepted cash, which meant I had to make a trip to the ATM. While I was doing that, I discovered Wholesale Brother Auto Glass Inc. next door. A lady there confirmed they had the part I needed for $350 and accepted cash, debit, or Zelle. I decided to go with them instead. Since they made it clear that they take Zelle. I was in and out within an hour. The service was fast, and the customer service was excellent. Based on my experience, I recommend shopping around the area before committing to a particular shop, especially if the shop seems disorganized or unclear about their services after confirming details over the phone. I was able to save $100, just by going next door.

We were referred to this place by our mechanic. I brought both our cars here without a problem. I was there about 2 wks ago with my second car, and I asked for a quote for my uncles car. The person I was talking to quoted me $185. I even wrote it down on the business card and handed it to my uncle. My uncle goes this morning to get it done, and now they are saying that there is no way they would've quoted me that much, they are charging $265. Unfortunately, I didn't get the name of the person who helped me. The person that I spoke with today was very rude. Saying well, it's too bad that I didn't come to point out the person that I spoke to. I don't see why it matters who it was that helped me. He worked there, and they should honor the price they gave and reprimand the person that messed up. I have notified my mechanic to no longer refer people here, and I will be reporting them to the better business bureau because this is bs.

If you've read any of my other reviews you know I love sharing a good find! That being said, I came here because my window stopped rolling up. I spoke with Omar and was told if it was the switch it would be $150 or if it was the full piece it be $175, but he'd charge me $150, either way he'd let me know what the problem was. I saw them begin to take the panel apart to check everything, about 30 min later I was told the window was fixed and to go see Omar. Omar smiled and said the repair was $300. I was confused at the price, and wasn't told what the problem was or what the full price would be before the repair was made. As Omar stated when I arrived "I'll let you know what the problem is, before we assume or repair anything". I just paid the $300 and was given a year warranty. Hope this review was informative 🙏🏽

They did a good job on the window. But I didn't like how the dude that was doing all the talking failed to tell us he didn't have the window we needed before he took our windshield off. So we ended up being forced to sit there for about 2 hours. And he even blamed me for initially requesting the price for a windshield with no rain sensor.. I then called back just to ask how much the windshield with the rain sensor would cost. So his excuse was he sent back what I originally requested because I asked for the price of the rain sensor windshield. Only to once we arrive send that windshield back and have to reorder what I originally requested..... Like come on you could have simply said you'd have to wait on the windshield to get there we wouldve still got what we needed. SMH

This is the spot that doesn't f around. I think they handle it when it comes to glass repair needs. Went to a couple of other glass shops that told me there's no way to repair a chipped glass. This place said they could fix some, but after looking at the chip they said they could. After they worked on it, the chip looked like a tiny scratch. The job they did keeps the chip from turning into a crack that keeps running. Now I don't have to replace the entire glass! Might have been there at the right time or something, but they fixed the chip quick! I'm like already? Was only sitting there like 20 minutes if that! Truthfully I didn't time it or anything, but you now what I'm saying. Anyway, good experience and I'm going back if I need glass work. I do recommend this spot.

Their solid reviews is what caught my attention, but their great price and prompt responses (through Yelp messaging) is what brought me in! There are many other glass shops on the same street as them and one may have a hard time picking the right one. I can say that after the great job they did on replacing the cracked windshield on my car that I made a good choice. After making an appointment through Yelp, I was in and out within an hour. The shop was fairly clean with a nice waiting area that included vending machines and a TV. The only thing that I would like to see is for them to vacuum up any debris left over from the work. They did a great job - spoke to Mike on the phone. He's super personable and has that old school customer relations vibe... you can't not like him. The rest of the crew were nice enough but def. Not as friendly. They weren't going to be able to get my OEM window that day so I ended up driving to the dealer, buying the glass, and bringing it over. They got me in quickly and finished re-installing the new passenger side rear window in about 40 minutes. Smooth and painless. I didn't have much cash to tip the guy who worked on the car and they weren't able to take more off my card for tip which was a bummer. I wanted to tip the guy a bit more. Anyway, highly recommend Mike's - if I should ever have to fix another window on my car that's where I'm headed.

Nelson made the experience so easy. In 10 years, my windshield has never had a crack. The first one cracked across the driver side. For transparency, I found this place while trying to find another repair place. I told Nelson I could come back another day since I didn't call ahead. He said they could replace it the same day in less than 2 hours. The facility and waiting area are very clean, and you can watch your car being worked on. A variety of vehicles were being serviced, even a large semi truck. You can catch a bite at the taco place that's in the same lot. Nelson gave me a quote for tinting and fixing up a window, and pricing was so fair. I'll be back for those services soon. Solo young lady approved.

Mike is great to deal with & his 5 star reviews are deserved! I called five or six people in order to replace the glass on my new Toyota RAV4 prime. He was among the fastest if not the fastest to respond and not only did he give me the best price for the auto glass he also without me having to ask, gave me the price for the dealer original glass on my new RAV4 prime. he was straightforward and friendly. Island of business and I only hope to model how easy and friendly he is to do business with. He’s fair honest and straightforward. I love that If you need auto glass work done this is the guy to go see. I swear to it you will not be disappointed!

Omar’s was extremely helpful however the manager owner not so much. I made an appt for 1-3. I get a call at 2:30 saying they actually don’t have the glass and will pick it up from the dealer at 930 am and be to my place at 10. At 10 no one had called or showed so I called Mikes to see what was going on. He still hadn’t picked up the glass. Was now waiting for a delivery from the dealer and had no clue what time he could help. He literally couldn’t give me an even estimated time. Don’t waste your time on their service. They will just keep extending the time, never show up and be utterly rude in the process
