Patsco Windshield Repair

I took my car in for a star chip that was about an inch tall and wide. Thought it'd be a good idea to "stop the spread." The specialist was nice, but unfortunately did pretty significant damage to the windshield during the process. I spoke with the manager today and their response to me was "that's what glass does." I felt like my concerns were dismissed and not heard. The manager was rude and unapologetic. Now I have a major crack that runs half way up my windshield, obstructs my view of the road and will have to pay to get the entire windshield replaced.ServicesAuto windshield repair

Saturday, January 27th, at approximately 1:40, when they should be open for business, I walked up to their location, called their number, and waited for someone to return for 15 minutes. As I waited, I looked around and noticed a young man in his car talking on his phone with a yellow Patsco cap on observing my wait. Never attempted to earn my business. This company should find a different employee to represent their business.

I had been looking for a place to address the chip in my windshield for almost a year. When I came across Patsco (Joe) I did a full 180 in my SUV. I only had a tiny chip but I didn’t want it to spread since I have a radar attached to my windshield and to replace the entire thing would cost thousands. Joe had me in and out in less than 15 minutes.

Kayla was so sweet and genuine! My mother recommended me her and luckily caught her perfect timing. She is fast and honestly super sufficient. I highly recommend getting your windshield done by her, especially when you running errands and need a quick fixing up. Also working in hot weather is insane but Kayla makes it work and does an amazing job.

I had gotten a small rock chip a month after getting it replaced so went by patsco to get it looked at. Technician Kayla helped me out and fixed it right up and fast. Finally now I don't have to worry about that small Crack spreading like it did my other vehicle. I'll be back if/when I get another Crack in my windshield

I have a rather large crack on the right side of my windshield and 2 smaller rock chips. Saw this company at my HEB forever and decided to give it a shot. Asked how much it would be to repair it all, and settled on a price of $115. Go do my shopping and come back to my windshield looking the same. I expressed concern as my impression was that a repair would fill in the crack, and it wouldn't be seen. I'm not a windshield expert, hence why I went to someone who supposedly is. I was told THEN that the repair is to stop the cracks and chips from getting bigger, but the expectation that you wouldn't see it anymore was a myth. Other photos in these reviews look perfect, so I dont know why that would be a myth. I told him that if he explained that before we started, I wouldn't have bothered. I was only doing this to save money on replacing the windshield. So he dropped the charge to $90, cleaned the residue off the windshield, and I am driving away like a schmuck for paying out money for nothing. I don't know if the employee didn't know what he was doing or if it's a sales tactic to not fully educate your customer before the job but this experience really sucked. Other people have given great reviews, but this was my honest experience at the Potranco location. If you need a repair, you are taking a chance at just throwing your money in the garbage.
