In & Out Auto Glass

Needed a total windshield replacement. Dropped my car off, and they had it done within 4 hours. They charged significantly less than a national service provider quoted me (see my reviews for more info). The coolest thing was they made sure they saved my dash cam mount and even put new adhesive tape on it for me! Good guys, hopefully I don’t have any more glass needs, but if I do I’m seeing these guys. There is a waiting room, but I didn’t look in - so no further details about that.

Unprofessional and rude staff. They changed my glass but they had to change the sealing too. They ordered it and called me to come and install it. I went there early morning and was first in shop. Tim Chen was the person was in office and so rude. He told me wait 20 minutes, after 40 minutes I asked him how long more it will be done and he said 20 more minutes. Finally after 1 and half hours it was done and looked bad. When I asked what is taking so long Tim said I don’t know it is not my problem. Someone else helped you not me.

Front driver window got smashed on a Saturday morning in a city park. Super annoying. But! These guys at In & Out made the process of fixing the glass SO EASY AND AFFORDABLE! I called 3 places and I have an older car and the first 2 places said I'd have to wait 1 or 2 days. They also quoted me >300 and >200. I called these guys and they said "in stock and available today" and just $150. They also vacuumed the glass, which would've been really annoying. From time I dropped off the car to pick up about 1.5-2 hours. And it works fine just like expected so 100% recommend In & Out. I do not work for, or am related to, or received a discount from them - but if this review sounds too good it's just because getting the window smashed is such an annoying thing, but the process of fixing by In & Out was the opposite. Also file a police report if not for insurance purposes, at least to report the crime. As many others have mentioned, the price is hard to beat in this place. Called a few glass repair shops after a window got broken into ( Be careful when you parked in SF these days as of April 2021), this shop offered the most reasonable price. The staff is friendly and offered hassle-free service. It took about three hours for them to complete the job. They are busy! As a side note, nearby shops offered price match when I called. If you've unfortunately gotten your car window broken into by Bay area/SF criminals, give this place a try.🚘😄

I’ve been to this shop twice for my Mini Countryman and had excellent experiences both times. The first visit was for a rear window replacement after a break-in. I reached out to them on Yelp, got a fast response, and received a quote right through the messages. They were able to take me the same day, and when I arrived, the quote was already tied to my account. No surprises, just consistent and efficient service. More recently, I asked about replacing a long-cracked front windshield and again received timely communication and a clear quote. They only take walk-ins, so coming early helps. Their prices are very competitive, and the service is fast, professional, and reliable. Highly recommend!

Hank and the team took extra care to ensure my (20+ year old) truck's windshield was installed to OEM-spec. We did have to re-do the work from aftermarket to OEM, and the team was very communicative, flexible, and thorough. I really appreciate their attention to detail (for example, noting several rust spots and providing options to resolve), especially the second time around. Saved several hundred dollars versus going to a Toyota Service Center (~20% savings). Really cool that I could drive in and have it done same-day. Will go back for future services if/when needed.
