I'm glad I found Al's Windshield Repair & Replacement to fix a cracked windshield on my car. I wasn't sure if the crack could be repaired or if I needed to replace the windshield. Replacing the windshield for my car would have been 10x the cost (and now I realize it would have been unnecessary). Al answered my call immediately and gave me an initial estimate over the phone for a repair. He offered to see and repair my car that afternoon. The timing didn't work for me, so we scheduled it for the following morning. Al was prompt, courteous, friendly and clearly skilled. He contacted me when he was on his way and came to my address to fix the windshield. Within 90 minutes, the work was complete! While the repair doesn't restore the glass to the original new condition, it does do an excellent job. The 15" initial crack is barely visible (looks a bit like a light scratch) and there is just a very small plug in the glass remaining. All rain sensors, cameras, safety sensors, etc. are working as they should. I'm very satisfied with the result and it was definitely worth saving the cost of replacement. I highly recommend Al's services and will have him replace the windshield (too large a crack) for another car of mine.

(UPDATE on 4/1/2019) I have another vehicle just got a rock chip on the windshield yesterday. Called in the morning and made an appointment on the same day. Repair was completed as I expected. Clean fix, courteous service. Highly recommend. (ORIGINAL POST) I got a rock chip on my windshield and my insurance company suggested a well-known franchise repair shop but their review was consistently bad. After calling several places, Al stood out from all the other shops I've called. He was very prompt to answer my questions, polite and straightforward. After the conversation, even though I couldn't find any online review of his business, I felt confident to move forward with his service. He even opened the shop 30 minutes earlier than usual just to fit my busy schedule in the morning. I stood next to him and watched while he was performing his repair work. He took the time to make sure it was fixed right and explained the process. Also, he provides paperwork for a lifetime warranty on the repair. Al deserves 5-star rating for his excellent work and friendly service and I highly recommend him for windshield repair needs.

Al fixed a rock chip on my windshield for me after I found him on Google. I chose mobile service and he came to my workplace at my request. Other auto glass shops I called either didn't answer or return my voicemail, one other shop was condescending towards me and they didn't want to answer my questions then hung up on me. Al answered my questions and was honest and up front about what to expect with the repair. He informed me that the rock chip may not be completely invisible after it's filled in with a clear bonding resin and that he could not predict what the final cosmetic outcome would be. He did promise that he would do his best to achieve as much visual improvement as possible. After the repair was done, the results are much better than I had expected. I can hardly see the rock chip and the line that was coming from it anymore. My coworker also had a rock chip on her windshield and since Al did such a good job for me she had him do a repair for her too since he was already there. Al is very genuine and kind. If you have a chip or crack and need a repair, stop searching and go with Al. I called everyone from the big boys to independent mobile repair shops; all required me to schedule an appointment which was inconvenient. Al answered my call immediately and was able to see me at any time before 5pm. After I pulled up, Al helped me right away and communicated options for my chip. To me, the most impressive part of Al’s service was his handling of my insurance claim. He called my insurer and started the claim for me. All I had to do was confirm my policy and Al took care of the rest. Al’s work suggests that he has plenty of experience, uses top quality resins and tools, and takes pride in ensuring his customers are more than satisfied. Every chip or crack is different, and some are more repairable than others. That said, when it comes to the cosmetic aspect of my repair, it’s nearly impossible to tell that a chip/crack once existed on my windshield. Al completely exceeded my expectations. He will be my first and only call when the inevitable happens again.

Al went above and beyond to repair our windshield on short notice. We had a pretty bad hit from a small rock, causing a crack that was quickly expanding. Al offered us to attempt to repair it right away, so we came by - he spent a long time sealing the crack, and told us to let him know if the crack would grow (as it was a major hit it wasn't clear if it was repairable). A few hours later, around 5:30 pm, we noticed that the crack was still growing - giving him another call, and he offered to stay/work late if we wanted to come back in to get the crack looked at again. We came back, and he spent a good hour to seal the now grown crack, until past 7 pm (normally he closes at 6 pm), for no additional charge (and his fees are very reasonable to begin with!). Al was AWESOME and so friendly! I was a lil nervous calling in as I never had to call for windshield repair before.. he was so friendly and told me to come anytime and he could take a look. They’re doing construction right now so Al is outside in his car in front of his building. Kudos to Al for working so hard by himself! On the day of, I drove there and Al took a look and gave me a price quote right away and said he could fix it. I went to other places for quotes and they said it wasn’t repairable. i was worried I had to replace an entire new windshield but Al fixed it within 60-75 minutes. I attached the before and after photos. It’s definitely not GONE but it is fixed! With how big my crack was, he did AMAZING. I am happy of his friendliness and quick and easy service. Al is very flexible and easy to work with. He fixed a rock chip for me at my home and was willing to fix another chip that we had on my husband's vehicle while he was here - and for a discounted price. Neither chip is invisible but you can hardly see either unless you know where to look. He let us know ahead of time that the rock chips once repaired don't necessarily disappear a hundred percent. The main goal is to stop them from getting worse. He's the same guy that used to do windshield repairs and replacements at the Formula Fast oil change place in Factoria which is now a Jiffy Lube. We've used him there before. We instantly recognized him as the same guy as soon as he arrived, lol. He does mobile service now which I think is more convenient

The best windshield repair service company I've dealt with. I called Al early this morning to inquire about a rock chip and I found out that his shop is near me and he offered to come to my home right away to fix it. I told him I would rather have him come to me because it's more convenient. The rock chip originally had a slightly long 4 inch crack and now it's all gone. My brother also needs a windshield replacement and I gave his phone number to Al he's very knowledgeable about auto glass. My side and back windows of my car were a bit dirty and I asked if I could borrow one of his paper towels so I could wipe them clean and he offered to do it for me. He deserves 10 stars for that but Google only allows up to 5

Places like Costco repair your chip in only 15 minutes but they either don’t drill dip enough or go too far and don’t let the resin to flow into the crack! They also skip so many steps so the crack may spread even after repair! I personally experience that on my other cars so I decided to bring my car to Al this time! Although my crack was repaired somewhere else before but I decided to have Al redo it! He spent his time repairing my cracked! I also checked the material he used and everything checked out! Al did an outstanding job! I had a big name company come out to my work to repair the rock chip in my windshield. When I went out to check the progress, the technician was gone and the windshield looked exactly the same. I decided to go see Al based on his excellent reviews. He did confirm that nothing appeared to be done and after he did his repair it was barely visible. I am more than impressed. It was definitely worth the wait. He is very busy for a reason.
