If I could give 0 stars, I would. I came in for a chip repair and left still needing my window chip fixed. I had to go to other auto glass shops that confirmed that the repair was done improperly and even told me the damage requires a full window replacement. When I tried to discuss this with Mike (the owner), I was basically told “too bad, you signed a waiver.” While I did sign, I reasonably expected the work to be performed properly, not poorly, as confirmed by other professionals. Instead of addressing my concerns, Mike dismissed what I was saying and even suggested the other shops were “insane” for pointing out the bad repair. Nothing was explained to me beforehand other than “sign this and pay and it’ll be fixed.” When the job was done, I was extremely unhappy, and my fiancée also called to express that this repair was unacceptable. Mike’s response was essentially “too bad, a waiver was signed.” The only “solution” offered was for me to spend even more on one of their overpriced windows. I would never recommend this place. The lack of professionalism, poor workmanship, and dismissive customer service made this one of the worst experiences I’ve had with any business. I also did ask for the owner at first and they said they were speaking which I assumed it was the owner since before I could even get the manager word halfway out of my mouth he said “speaking” and again I was calling for a refund, and was given the only option which was buy their overpriced windshield and they would deduct the price of my “repair” from the window. That was the only “refund” I was offered, the “manager” was rude to begin with and was raising his voice the whole time and was infuriated when I told him other glass shops said this was a job done poorly, he immediately asked for names which in my opinion is unprofessional, there are a number of other reviews about bad customer service here as well.

Patriot Auto Glass was amazing. I stumbled upon them after I filed an insurance claim and simply told insurance I wanted the company that could perform the work the fastest. I filed my claim on Monday and, within hours, Patriot called me. Instead of asking "when can we schedule you and tell me the details of your issue" they said "we're calling about your [exact year make model] to replace the drivers side window. We can do it tomorrow, do you want to come to us or have us come to you?". From that moment, I was impressed. They called when they were 30 minutes away and completed the work in the exact amount of time they estimated (1 hour to replace a power window). The technician that came (John) was absolutely amazing. He was friendly, explained what he was doing, taught me a few things, and was just an all-around nice guy. Not only did he replace the window with extreme proficiency, he cleaned all of the residual broken glass that was scattered throughout my car from the broken window. In a time where we don't see many companies putting a high priority on customer service, it was nice to work with this smaller company that clearly puts their customer satisfaction as a top priority. Another shout-out to John who was friendly, experienced, professional, and just a good dude.

After a rock from a work truck smashed into my windshield this week, I called my insurance company and was left on hold for over 20 minutes. I called Michael at Patriot Auto Glass and he answered two of my questions before I even asked, and gave me an important piece of information that the insurance company withheld about how even with the company they were suggesting that would "come to me" to replace the windshield, I would still need to bring my car into a shop to have the calibration done (that can't be done roadside, it needs to be hooked up to the computer). I dropped my car off the next evening after work. I wasn't expecting it to be ready the next day until noon, but I received a phone call just before 9:00 a.m. that they were done. The process couldn't have been any easier or more efficient, which was a huge relief for us...having to pay a $500 deductible for someone else's destruction of our property was unpleasant enough. Highly recommend Patriot Auto Glass, and don't let your car insurance company persuade you to go with whomever they suggest, remember you have other options in their network they may not tell you about.

Tried Patriot at Red Rum Ashburn today to replace my windshield in my Rav4. They went over and above with the quality of the work. I've previously had my windshields replace by another local company. The previous company had a 'drive thru' type where the owner can watch and follow the car. However here they took the car around back -out of sight. When I mentioned this to the mgr he brought it up on the computer monitor so I could watch. He zoomed in and showed me how rusted the entire lay-in part was - because whoever replaced the previous w-shield didn't sand and clean up first. Patriot took the time to sand the entire area before installing a new w-shield. Brought my Honda CR-V to have the windshield replaced. The shop completed the windshield replacement, but attention to detail could be better. After the installation, my mirror was vibrating while driving. This was corrected after I returned to the shop. A large amount of installation debris was left on my dashboard, and some of the sealant material was left on the exterior of my car: adjacent pillars, hood, roof. I was able to clean it off, but there could have been better attention to neatness. I would recommend this shop over business-chain brands, and would use them again in the future, but I would also recommend thoroughly documenting and taking pictures of every surface around your windshield (inside and outside), prior to its replacement, in case there is any damage to the vehicle's paint or interior during the installation.ServicesAuto windshield repair

I couldn’t be happier with Patriot Auto Glass! I went to get my vehicle inspected and because it had a crack in the windshield, they wouldn’t pass it. I got an online quote from Patriot later in the day and they came out first thing the next morning. Russell and Scott are extremely professional, courteous and do great work! Their prices are so much better than the big guys and I’m always happier to go with a local business anyway. I’m so glad that I did and you will be too! Update - 2025/07/11 4 years after my initial review and Anthony and the team at Patriot glass are still crushing it (no pun intended) with impeccable service and customer care that is unmatched. I was attacked by a rock this morning on the toll road at 8:30 a.m. that left a chip in my windshield about the size of a dime. By 10:45 a.m. that chip was repaired by the stellar team at Patriot Auto Glass. I can't say enough good things about this business and I'll be referring everyone I know here. Rock crushed my window Saturday. These folks got me a quote Monday and I had a new windshield Wednesday morning. Their shop is also a five minute walk to Golds Gym or Lost Rhino Brewery, depending on where you are in your day or life. Great price and excellent customer service.

This is now the 3rd time I've had to replace a windshield in the past 4 years. Who doesn't love commuting in No Va with all the work trucks and road debris? My boss recommended Patriot Auto Glass to me. A dump truck kicked up a huge rock passing me this morning in the other direction on my way to work. Mike at Patriot had the windshield ordered and tentatively scheduled for afternoon appointment - same day by 9am. I'm at work, It's 3:00pm and Vincent just finished my car. Windshield looks great and I can go home at my regular time like if nothing happened. I definitely recommend them! Oh and their prices are better than the biggie auto glass replacement company. Help out a local business and give them a call! You won't be disappointed.

Re-edit because my luck is terrible & I had to come back again. This time I went to the physical location. Anthony (I believe) was as kind as can be and really all the staff was! I was taken care of from start to finish. Took about an hour, no flaws. Thanks guys! Hopefully it’ll be a little while before I see you all again lol Great work, great guys. Flexible availability and the team members, John and another gentleman (that I failed to get the name of) were sent out to my work and were very friendly. Very convenient, and a timely install.
