HIGH DESERT ROCK CHIP REPAIR LLC

Extremely unhappy with this company. My wife took our brand new car down there today this morning to get a small rock chip repaired. It was almost unnoticeable. She saw their tent in the parking lot of sportsman’s warehouse on 104th and bangerter so she pulled in. My wife stated they were very nice to her and started on her car while Brandon the owner called our insurance company. As the owners wife started working on it my wife watched as the rock chip turned into a crack and get bigger and bigger. They told her “sorry, we could not repair the chip. But we will give you the $60 your insurance pays you and recommend you to a windshield company” So now we have an 8” crack with 4 holes drilled in our windshield that have not been filled. At this point I contact 3 different windshield companies only to find out it will cost me $900 to replace the windshield due to sensors and cameras in the car. These companies also told me if the glass was to hot and you try and repair a chip it will “run” that was never disclosed to us. So I decide to call Brandon the owner to see if we can work something out, at which point he becomes extremely aggressive and states that he is no longer going to pay us the $60. He said they only pay that because they are an “honest company” and that we will no longer be getting that money. He was very aggressive and unprofessional, please steer clear of this company.

This company has been a lifesaver for me from the very first phone call. The first time I called, they were able to explain the type of chip I had in my window and put my mind to rest that it wasn’t an actual chip but instead a ‘pit.’ Since this was my new vehicle, they sent one of their guys out immediately just to put my mind at ease, and didn’t even charge me for the visit. 💯🙌🙋‍♀️ Sign me up! They cared about their potential clients ‘Peace of Mind.’ Since that visit, I’ve called them 2 or 3 times and have received the same standard of service. Safelite quoted me at $185 for (1) rock chip repair smaller than the width of a quarter. Brandon met me at Murray High School parking lot on a Sunday for $50 and had me on my way in 10 minutes. Highly recommend! I knew the chip wouldn’t disappear, it’s just being sealed so it doesn’t spread - but he STILL made it much smaller, and I can hardly see it. Thanks for helping me save $135! I will definitely use you in the future!

Julie knows her stuff! This is a business that really wants to focus on the customer. I bought a used truck with some windshield damage and she was able to talk me through the details of what was going on while working on the windshield. We’ve had Brandon fix two rock chips for us now on different cars and we are so happy with the results both times! Our most recent rock chips was much bigger than the last one and he still was able to make it practically invisible after filling it. He’s quick, friendly, and we love that he comes to us! We will always use him when we need a windshield repaired!!

I have used this company a couple of times for rock chip repairs. Both times they were able to come out the same day to my location. It is nice to get the same professional person working on my car each time instead of a random employee. They are also cheaper and do a better quality job than the others. Highly Recommended.

Very impressed by their service. When I called they were already closed for the day but I was leaving town the next morning so they said they would send someone over. Within 30 min they showed up to my house and repaired the chips in my windshield. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend these guys!

This place is totally awesome. Quick and easy rock chip repairs. They work with almost all major insurance companies. The owner was really nice and explained the whole process while doing the work. I wish I had taken a picture of before but afterwards the rock chip was almost invisible. Highly recommend.

High Desert is amazing! They were able to come to my home within 15 minutes of me calling. They took care of my rock chip in about 10 minutes and I they were on their way! They took care of the insurance info and even called my insurance with me. Would highly recommend! 10/10
