Called and made an appointment for a new windshield on my Audi. They called me the DAY OF and told me that the windshield they had would no longer work because it had been damaged and they need to reschedule my appointment. Told them that was fine and I was completely understanding as accidents happen. They credited me for wiper blades due to their mix up. Rescheduled the appointment and I get another call not too soon before my appointment that I need to reschedule AGAIN due to the windshield not being in good condition and someone forgot to order the new one. I was understanding once again and rescheduled for another time. Well, I get to my appointment and drop my keys off in the drop box like the technicians had told me 3 times prior to do (an hour and a half before my scheduled time- so 11:00 and my appointment was at 12:30) I called them at 3:00pm because I hadn’t heard anything and they said they had no idea the car was dropped off and asked where the key was.. I told Tawny at the front desk that I placed the keys in the drop box and they had been there since 11am this morning. (Hence my car sitting out front for hours) she said they would get working on the car. I went and picked up the car and the technician - Billy, told me not to go inside because I already paid and I was good to go. He said “now we can all go home”. I got driving and noticed something was severely wrong with my windshield wipers. I went to OReily in centerville and they told me that they had glued the windshield wipers and completely broke the arms. I totally understand that accidents happen but there was no communication what so ever! I was never told my windshield wipers broke let alone the arms. These now have to be special ordered from AUDI. I am severely disappointed with Safelite. I do not do well with dishonesty and unfortunately they just lost a customer. I hope this review helps someone else as this has been a complete NIGHTMARE from the get go. A bit of communication goes a long way!!

Safelite's mobile service was a disaster. Technician Jose P. came to fix three rock chips I was concerned about. He assured me two were already repaired, so we focused on the single remaining chip I wanted fixed. However, Jose then decided to work on a different chip I wasn't interested in. Twenty minutes into his work, he called to say he'd caused a 16-inch crack. Only then did he reveal that the main chip I'd originally wanted repaired was also previously fixed—information crucial before any work began! (I've only owned the car six months, so the prior owner must have had this done.) Despite Jose taking responsibility, Safelite offers no warranty for technician error. My $70 repair spiraled into a $1200 windshield replacement I'm now stuck with. I was never warned of this risk; had I been, I'd have canceled immediately. Safelite in Bountiful needs to investigate and reimburse me fully, replacing my windshield at your expense. **Update** Bountiful Safelite management worked with me to replace the windshield, and I was found not at fault.

One of my windows shattered as I was driving on the highway so I drove straight to their location to see if they can help and they were literally 3 minutes away from closing. I quickly explained everything. The receptionist, Jawny, was so mindful and helpful and literally had 11 out of 10 customer service skills so she looked up my car. The parts reached out to different locations nearby to see if they could help me tomorrow and got me an appointment and rode everything down for me so I could have it handy when I needed it. The guys there were super helpful. They wrapped my window and literally vacuumed the front and back seat and cleaned up. All the pieces even though they literally closed at 5:00, and even though I saw that they had already cleaned everything up and were ready to close for the day, they still stayed longer to take care of my car and get me on my way. I am so very thankful and this is why I drove straight to Safelite instead of googling a bunch of places. They've also been helpful the other times I've been there 💖

Never again. Another slow windshield experience. Why did it take 20 minutes for your guys to unpack and determine your new windshield was “crooked and couldn’t be used”? Scheduled first thing in the morning, empty shop, you put 2 guys on my car instead of one and then call 20 minutes later to say you can’t install the windshield? Nobody inspected the windshield when delivered the night before? 2 guys waiting for my appointment to begin couldn’t inspect it before taking my car keys? Say you’ll order another windshield, inspect it, then call me to reschedule. But you never called. Instead you book me for a 4am appointment on Saturday morning? Also your guy parked the car outside, windows down, car unlocked with expensive items in plain sight on the front seat. All bays in the shop empty, no other cars being worked on, and you leave the car outside unlocked, windows down. Excellent customer service and communication. This Safelight location isn’t up to par. Back to the Windshield Doctor I go for our cars.

I just wanted to take a minute to recognize Nick from Safelite for the incredible job he did on my repair. You can tell right away that he knows what he’s doing — his 15 years of experience really showed in the way he handled everything with care and confidence. Nick was professional, friendly, and thorough from start to finish. He took the time to do the job right, and you could see he paid attention to every detail. What really impressed me was how clean and tidy everything was when he finished — no mess, no leftover materials, just a job well done. To whoever in management sees this: Nick is exactly the kind of person you want representing your company. His level of service and professionalism deserves to be recognized. Based on my experience, he’s more than ready move up within the company which he should already be there based on his experience and exceptional services. Thanks again, Nick — truly top-notch work.ServicesAuto windshield repairPrice assessmentGreat price

Went in for a simple rock chip repair, found out after the fact they are not qualified to repair that chip manually. They use a machine to fix the repair, which that machine etched to deep into my chip and in the wrong spot…which caused my whole windshield to crack. Now their upstanding customer service expects me to pay for my $1500 windshield bc they can’t fix a small rock chip. So what do you do in my shoes? Call their customer service, right?? Supervisors wouldn’t speak to me, got transferred and hung up on three times. Awesome customer service! These big corporations just expect us to get tired of their lack of caring and go away bc they don’t stand behind their work and make it impossible to talk to any decision makers who can actually help…otherwise you’re dealing with a low level stand behind the company line policy employee who says “I understand you’re frustrated”. This company needs more problem solvers

Absolute horrible customer service, my husband took the day off work so we could drop my vehicle off, my father extended a visit so he could watch our children, we completely rearranged our day to drop my car off - we walk in and the lady acts dumbfounded I’m there. I spoke to her on the phone Friday, today is Monday and she confirmed my 10am appointment. She says, “I have you September 3rd” which isn’t a Monday nor is the date we confirmed. She acts like she’s doing me a favor to try and get me in sooner, but my appointment was for today. My windshield is destroyed and I can’t believe they not only spoke to me on the phone but also confirmed the appointment with my insurance. Terrible customer service. I will absolutely not be back. They can eat the cost of my $1200 windshield that they were capable of ordering but incapable of entering a confirmed date into the computer for.

2 very simple windshield chips from rocks while driving that I requested to be fixed. First of all, the technicians did not listen to what I wanted fixed. They said “there was a much bigger chip that needed to be fixed” when there wasn’t and it was very clear that they only attempted to work on one windshield chip. I say attempted because the windshield chips aren’t even fixed and have grown to be bigger, growing cracks in my windshield which I was trying to prevent. Second of all, they left the whole driver’s side window covered with residue (below is a picture after it was taken to the car wash, residue was still there) imagine that all over the window while trying to drive. Lazy technicians, poor quality of work. I would give 0 stars if I could.

You can spend $185 for fixing one rock chip smaller than the width of a quarter - or you can call High Desert Rock Chip Repair, where Brandon will fix it for $50. Safelite made it extremely hard to call the the actual location, I never got through to someone in Bountiful, you can make an appointment online, and they quote you at $185! I called customer service and they confirmed that’s how much one chip usually costs to fix. And remember, rock chip fixes don’t get rid of the chip entirely, it just seals it. $185 is not appropriate. I’m glad I searched around on Google Maps, Brandon was willing to meet me and fixed my chip in 10 minutes. Safelite, you guys advertise so much, I was excited to try you, but with pricing like that, there’s NO way.

I’ve been coming to this location a few times for some rock chips and a windshield replacement on a Tesla 3 (because UT roads are so awful with all the debris, just can’t avoid it, it seems). The receptionist, Tawny, is such a wonderful person - she’s very personable, extremely friendly, and has such a bright smile with kind eyes. She treats everyone so well and earnestly helping them through the entire process, from what I’ve experienced myself and seen from her while I waited in the waiting room as she assisted other customers. Whatever you’re paying her now, definitely isn’t enough for the caliber of employee and human she is for your company ;) Thanks Tawny!
