Safelite AutoGlass

The Safelite technician arrived on time and after about 30 minutes called me out. He showed me 2 bolts that held the “wing” on the rear passenger side of my car and said he thought I should take my car to a shop to get the bolts replaced. He told me that my kind of vehicle was notorious for the bolts stripping and he could drill out the bolt and try to make it work. Well, I had already been without my car for 4 days (missing work and other commitments), so I told him to put my rear window in. He did and told me he was able to use part of both bolts to secure the wing to my car. My question is: if you are coming to replace a rear window in a car that’s known to have this issue, why wouldn’t you be prepared for that? My window is in and I haven’t heard rattling yet, but I can assure you, if it starts or has any issues, Safelite’s lifetime warranty will go right out the window ‼️

Horrible job! Came out to fix what was the size of a nickel. The rookie tech first cut his finger on the glass trying to smooth it out with his hand first? Then within just a few weeks and 1 hot day, I now have a completely damaged windshield that needs to be replaced. Upon inspection there is no resin in the holes, its still completely raw and rough. No warranty, no replacement from Safelite. All I get is "Sorry" its not guaranteed. SO essentially they can run around and make these worse, creating an guaranteed replacement and money spent. Never again will I use this company. Use experienced techs and warranty the work instead of laundering people out of more money.

I had Safelite come out to my home and replace my cracked windshield. The tech showed up and replaced the windshield but at the last moment, the suction holding the windshield came loose and the windshield fell onto the hood of my vehicle slightly scratching the hood and cracking the new windshield in multiple spots. The tech was very apologetic and I felt bad for him. The support team was very professional and assured me the windshield would be replaced at their cost. They sent another tech out a few days later and he replaced the windshield perfectly. I have used Safelite several times over the years and would highly recommend them for their professionalism.

The service was fast once it got going. I had to come in twice. The first time, they didn't have the correct glass so I had to come back. They didn't contact me to confirm which back glass I needed, so I came to my appt on time and left with a plastic covering on my back window (not so safe). The second time, went well until I opened up my trunk and there's glass everywhere (such a safety hazard). Would only recommend if you are able to get the glass done that day and make sure if it's a back window to make sure the truck is clear of glass.

Landscapers accidentally broke the back windshield of my suv and through insurance, Safelite came to the rescue 2 days later. Yes, a long wait (closed Sundays, happened on a Saturday afternoon), but worth it. Thankfully it was parked in a safe place and I was able to cover it during a rain shower before they arrived. They provided great communication before, during, and after my windshield was replaced at my house. They also cleaned up all the debris in my car and driveway! Great customer service!

Safelite did not show up when they said they would. The tech did not tell me he was not going to be able to get to me on the day he said. I had to call him the next day, said he ran out of time. He told me someone would be in touch to reschedule, they did not. I then got an email to post this review about my experience, so here it is. I have paid my deductible and a week later still have a broken windshield. I guess it’s my responsibility to start the process all over again?

Super nice facility with extremely friendly and polite employees. My windshield was replaced and recalibrated in an hour which was 2 hours quicker than expected. It was easy to get an appointment time that worked for me. The waiting area has a coffee bar and water bottles available as well as plenty of charging stations for phones. The restroom was clean and orderly. While I hope to never need their services again, if I do, I will definitely return. They were awesome!

I had an excellent experience with this Safelite. Anthony came out to do a mobile windshield replacement (GMC Terrain), and he was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He took the time to explain everything they needed to do before starting the work, which I really appreciated. The replacement was completed quickly, and the quality of the work was great. I would highly recommend this Safelite Fort Worth for anyone needing glass repair or replacement services!

The entire staff was friendly. When you enter the building, everything looks clean and new. The waiting area was clean. Britt was awesome. He was very friendly and explained the after care for the windshield I was getting replaced. When I left the building everyone told me to enjoy my day or have a nice day. The price to replace the windshield was AMAZING. I expected to pay more since I didn't have insurance that covered my windshield. GREAT PRICE! Thank you,

The repair person showed up on time and ready to get to work, he was professional, courteous, and made me feel like my vehicle was his only priority for that time frame. I knew that my vehicle would have to be recalibrated so the upcharge in price wasn’t that big of a shock to me. That’s what you get for owning a nice vehicle. Just expect to almost double the price of the repair and you’ll be ok. But Safelite has always done a great job for us.
