Glass Genie Mobile Auto Glass Repair Dallas

DO NOT USE - Provider if you have a Luxury Vehicle - I have a Lexus IS 350 that I had the windsheild blown out on by road debris. As a cheaper alternative I originally chose Glass Genie because the owner gave me such a great deal I figured what the heck. I did not know that this service is a service that contracts out other smaller glass CONTRACTORS to do you repairs. When the first contractor replaced the whole windshield one my Lexus it leaked air. The owner said he was sorry and sent his BEST GUY out to my office to attempt he send second repair. To ensure the quality of the second one, the owner showed up to inspect the vehicle. After we drove the vehicle and he was listening with this little device the vehicle still leaked. He said it would be a couple of days till the seal would hold and close the air. Three days later NOTHING changed!!! I follow all of his instructions the first and second attempt and but nothing changed. I attempted to contact the owner again but he became frustrated at his and his contractors shifty work. He made up some sort of sorry excuse how I should leave my vehicle OVERNIGHT at his shop off of Mockingbird lane (ahh no!). He NEVER refunded me for the bad work. I eventually went to the SEWELL Lexus shop and it was down the correct way the first time. I WOULD NOT recommend for luxury vehicles.

They installed a new windshield on my car about 3 weeks ago, and one of the techs removed my window trim piece and broke off all of the tabs on the mounting bracket. They tried to tack it back down and of course the trim piece came off driving down the road. I have spent the last 3 weeks making phone calls, sending them multiple rounds of pictures and explaining the situation. Each time I talk to someone they say: "we'l call you back" but they never do. Their solution is to apply adhesive to my mounting bracket and place the trim piece over it. 😤 I can do that myself! They need remove the windshield, place the mounting bracket and make it like it was when they found it. Instead all I've ever received is dithering, excuses, broke promises and more delays. If your techs don't know what they are doing, train them better. if they make a mistake, don't try to cover it up and hope it won't be found later. Worst of all when a customer reports a problem with an install address it quickly and don't be negligent and ignorant. Take ownership of the issue and correct it. When you tell a customer about 4 separate occasions you will call him back: actually do it.

UPDATE: 4/3/2021 Glass Genie not only fixed the damaged window cowl, but they also replaced the windshield in total after I pointed out the warped spot. That wasn't a huge concern of mine, so it was extremely kind of them to replace the glass with one without imperfections. The owner himself personally showed up to make sure everything went smoothly. Very pleased with my windshield now that everything was sorted out. Great company. 3/22/2021 - 4/1/2021 After they came and replaced my windshield I noticed rubber tubing and foam along the edges of the glass and a warped spot in the glass itself on the drivers side. Great company. Friendly, responsive, and provides great explanation for the fix. This time of year is brutal for me at work, so they had no problem doing the work on Sunday. Probably not anyone’s favorite day to work, but they were incredibly accommodating. My wife had 3 chips on the windshield of her E320. Two of the 3 were fixed as if they were never there. On the 3rd glass chip, they asked if my wife had tried getting it fixed previously, and to my surprise, she did about a year ago. Due to the bad attempt by a different company, it wasn’t fixed as well as the others; however, they tried extremely hard to fix the poor efforts of another company. Lesson….get it done right the first time with these guys!

Amazing company. Saved me hundreds and several days of hassle and heartache. My car got broken into overnight. The day was scorching hot and I was driving around with the windows down. I called the dealership to see if I could get a new glass window for the passenger side and nowhere in the metroplex did they have one available. They would have to order for it to be picked up in a few days. Glass genie came and clutch. They were able to come and fix my window within two and a half hours at a great price. Highly recommend without reservation. Do not call your dealership for OEM! These guys are absolutely the best.

Excellent service!! A few months ago my car was broken into resulting in a smashed window. I called Glass Genie and they were very accomodating and prompt. Even more so when I told him I had a young child with me and two other children that I needed to pick up in a few hours. He met me at my home within an hour and replaced the window. He also did an excellent job in cleaning all of the glass out of the car since little ones would be using it shortly. Six months later we have had no problems with the replaced glass. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody that is needing glass repair. They are so awesome very courteous and they really care about their people. Even though they were unable to fix my window because of circumstances that just wouldn’t allow it they tried very hard and we’re very Kind and courteous and when we found out, we could not get the window done. Very polite ,professional . Best of the best! I’m not even home to look at it yet but I had my grandfather there and he isn’t easy to please lol and he was very impressed .my brand new car got broken into glass completely shattered :( It was a hassle to find good quality work and price and thease guys didn’t hesitate and they got out there as soon as possible this is the only time I wrote a review and that’s because for once I’ve got good service can’t say that about very many places now a days .
