Seal A Shield Windshield Repair

Our experience started off good but ended badly. Earnest responded quickly with an estimate to repair the chip in the windshield and came out to repair it a few days later. I was given a written “Lifetime Warranty On All Repairs” “No Cost To The Customer” on the chip repair. Well, the repair did not work so the chip turned into a huge crack causing the windshield to have to be replaced. The crack is exactly what we were trying to prevent in the first place. When we contacted Earnest, apparently the “Lifetime Warranty On All Repairs” “No Cost To The Customer” only means Seal A Shield will refund what you paid for the chip repair. So something that started off simple ended costing us an insurance deductible, claim on our auto insurance, time off work, hours out of our day and great frustration.We are still waiting to see if we actually get the refund. It’s been three weeks without a response.

My windshield got chipped by a pebble today on MoPac. Jay was able to stop by within a few hours and fix it perfectly even though it was a pretty big starburst. Appreciated the quick service since these things can turn into nasty cracks literally overnight. Fair price, friendly service, and they give you a warranty also. Great customer service is hard to come by these days. Lucky for me I chose to give seal a shield a call! I have been having an issue with my windshield lately and needed some guidance on what I needed to do. I was greeted kindly and given honest, informative answers. Very friendly service. I would highly recommend these guys.

Ernest has been to my business three times. Two times to fix my windshield, he did a great job the place where the rock hit has been sealed. He cleared my covers to my headlights!!! Absolutely abysmal experience. Ernest came to our house to fix a small chip and instead cracked the whole windshield and then took no responsibility. He claimed this had never happened to him before but he would gladly sell us a new windshield. I'm still in disbelief.NegativeQuality
