Steer clear of this business! I had use them for several other windshields that had been damaged from break-ins at my business. I own a residential glass company and the yard we store our work vehicles in have been vandalized on several occasions. I had them come to fix a windshield on a truck that was cracked Was the same as all the other times I had hired them. I texted them and they said they would send somebody out. The gentleman who installed the windshield was finished I offered to pay him with a card and he said that he could not accept a card over the phone or online. I was an hour away and told him that I could not be there to pay in person that and if his office could call me or he could send me a payment link or just manually enter my credit card over the phone, I could settle up with him. He told me that was not acceptable and pulled brand new windshield out of the truck. When I booked the appointment, nobody said that I had to be there. I did tell them I would pay with cash, but I got called into work and had to leave businesses take payments over the phone online. This is the 21st century there are plenty of protective measures for this to be done safely for the business and the consumer. To install a brand new windshield and then uninstall it is psychotic and very questionable, the level of unprofessionalism does not warrant doing business with this company. I’m going to be filing a complaint with the Travis County District attorneys office as this is an immoral practice.

Great value and they make it super convenient for you!! My windshield had a long crack and needed to be replaced. They asked me to send them pictures of my windshield and helped me figure out everything I needed. Oswaldo was the technician assigned to me and he was awesome! I wasn't available on the time that we originally agreed due to unexpected work but he graciously agreed to meet a few hours later. He was really courteous and replaced my windshield in about 45 minutes while I sent a few emails at a nearby coffee shop. I really liked the quality and cleanliness of his work. Also, the cost was was substantially less than other shops and certainly the dealership! The convenience and professionalism are top notch! I'm really happy with the experience! Highly recommend them!

Avoid this place. Independent Auto Glass replaced our windshield, and the new windshield left a visible gap. When I asked about it, they told me it was just a cosmetic issue and it would not affect the functioning of the windshield, so there was nothing they could do. If you want your windshield to fit like the original, find a different business to fix it. In the photos, you can see that the Honda dealer confirms that the new windshield is not the correct shape. Response to owner’s response below: Just to clarify, Independent Auto Glass did not offer to replace the windshield with a different one at no additional cost. I realize it is an option to pay to have them redo it, but I could do that anywhere else.

I got my professional window replacement by Independent Auto Glass. Not only were they very communicative and concise, they completed the job quickly and to perfection. My window has never looked better. They arrived at my home and were respectful and timely. They provided me with a reasonable quote and arrived the very next day! I cannot say enough good things about this company and especially Oswaldo! Our car was broken into overnight and a window was shattered. I called around 10 AM and got a text message response in minutes. I was able to schedule the repair for the same day. Oswaldo did an amazing job and was so kind and personable. The cost was reasonable and significantly cheaper than what we would have paid with our insurance deductible. I strongly recommend this company! I was feeling so overwhelmed and stressed from my car being broken into, but the technicians, Oswaldo and Nickolai, as well as the gentleman who’s name I do not know but was responding to my call and texts messages, those three made a horrible situation into a pleasant experience! Wow. So so happy I found this place! Oswaldo came to our house and replaced our entire windshield beautifully within an hour in the heat. The service and friendliness was impeccable from him and from the person we made the appointment with. We loved just being able to text and make the appointment and how we did not have to go anywhere! Great service!!! I texted them for a quote on replacing windshield on our CVR and they got back to me in a timely manner with price for glass and installation. I was able to schedule appointment all through texting and Oswaldo showed up at my work last Wednesday and did a great job replacing the windshield. I waited a few days and then took the car through the carwash per their recommendation and didn not notice any leaks. I got a nasty crack on my windshield on i35 from a rock impact from one of those gravel truck things that caution you to keep back 200ft. That didn't help obviously. Oswald did though! He came out to my work and did a flawless job installing a new windshield on my Mazda 3. Great price and not cheap glass that blinds you like a magnified glass. Local mom and pop place as it looks that values customer service. I'll be sure to be back when someone breaks into my car! 5/5 stars!

I had a great customer experience starting from the moment I requested a quote. They were very quick to respond to text messages with any questions that I had. It is a remote service so there was no hassle of bringing my car to a shop and or having to arrange for other trans while my windshield was being fixed.
