Austin Mobile Glass

I called 7 of the top listing from google and not one answered the phone but Kristen called me right back...no one else returned my call. She was able to fit me in same day and was very pleasant to deal with. The tech called when he was 20 minutes out and was polite as well. I had them come to my shop to replace the windshield and I wasn't able to be here but my crew told me he was in and out in less than 30 minutes. They were shocked! UPDATE: A week went by and the rains came. I opened the door and there was 2" of water standing in the passenger side floorboard. I've been having a mechanic work on the A/C so the glove box was torn out and I assumed it was the intake. I got the mechanic to show him even though he was convinced it wasn't anything he'd done, and I sprayed the windshield down with a water hose...I proved myself wrong. Sure enough it was coming through a plastic clip in the moulding at the bottom of the glass. I called and spoke to Norman, he was nice and said he's get the tech out there to look at it but was quick to tell me how he was sure it wasn't their fault. The tech came out later and told the first guy he saw at my shop that it had to be my sunroof, even before he looked at the car. Then he looked at the car and talked to my mechanic and told him it was a moulding issue and not in the seal that touched the glass. That is true...except he had to remove the moulding to replace the glass but was adamant that he didn't. Long story short, he spent 20 minutes arguing with 2 guys at my shop about how he magically took the glass out when a pea size dab of any kind of adhesive that I'm sure he had on his truck would have solved the issue and he would have left a happy customer. Instead he left everyone in a bad mood and I still have yet to hear from the tech or the office about it. They give you a nice little discount to get a good review within 24 hours of their work but I can't say their service after that is worth it.

Austin Mobile Glass to the rescue! My Birthday was on Friday and when I went out to my truck to go and meet friends for lunch, I found someone had broken into the truck by smashing the driver's side window. Did not make for a good beginning on my special day. I called a friend who works for Toyota and he suggested that I call Austin Mobile Glass, which I did, but was fearful that they would not have window glass for a '94 Toyota truck - or that it would be a special order and very expensive. Luckily Kristen, the very kind person who answered the phone, listened to my tale of woe and lightened my spirit by saying that they did have the window glass, that it was factory tinted and they could come out the very next morning - on a Saturday- to fix the glass, as I already had plans for the rest of Friday. Kristen said that David would be the technician who would be out and that he would call in advance to let me know when he would be arriving. David did call, in less than an hour I had new window glass installed, the million pieces of glass bits had been vacuumed out of the door, the floor, the seats and even the bits of glass on the ground around the vehicle. I was pleased with the price for the new window glass and installation. I'll definitely refer anyone who needs their vehicle glass replaced to Austin Mobile Glass. BTW, there were multiple vehicles broken into in Round Rock Thursday Night and Austin Mobile Glass took care of 5 of the vehicles - they must be good! Thank You Austin Mobile Glass!!

My windshield had a long crack that was growing by the day, so I called various glass companies in the Austin area for windshield replacements. I heard back from several companies, but Austin Mobile Glass had the best quote so I decided to move forward with the company. They were very responsive via text message, and Jenna assisted me with getting an appointment the next day to replace my windshield. I received my invoice via email within minutes. Jenna explained the pricing very clearly, including the discount logistics. Unfortunately, some delays the next day caused my appointment to get pushed back to the following morning, but Scott arrived promptly the next morning and had my windshield replaced in less than an hour. He cleaned the windshield thoroughly so no smudges were showing, and he explained the proper care for the first few days of the new windshield. I have yet to drive my car since the new installation so I can't speak to how the new windshield holds up on the road, but so far it looks good, and Jenna explained the warranty so that if any issues arise, I can contact them to resolve them. I've had a positive experience so far with Austin Mobile Glass and would recommend them to those with auto glass repair/replacement needs.

This was the first time I've ever had to replace my windshield and I'm honestly so glad that I went with mobile glass to get it done. I was doing a little reading on their website but I was confused with what exactly I needed, repair/replace, rain sensor or not, the works; but the lady on the phone was so helpful it's crazy. She not only helped me find out which windshield would be best but she also helped me set up and appointment time that would work best for me which was a little difficult due to my work schedule; and she was still helping me once we got off the call! She send me some pictures via text in order to help clarify whether or not my windshield had any additional features I may have not known of. I thought I was going to have to be waiting a couple of hours before the guy showed up but to my surprise after only 20/30 minutes of waiting I had received a call from David, the repair man, saying that he was on the way! It took him about 40 minutes overall to replace my windshield so I was able to get it fixed on my lunch break and go home with a brand new windshield! 10/10 in my books, hopefully I wont be needing their services again but if I do I'll definitely be coming back to them.

Mobile Glass Company is AWESOME!!! My husband and I both had large cracks on our windshields that just kept growing and we needed to get both windshields replaced. When I first called them for a quote they were very nice and super helpful. I then looked around to other local companies and by far, Mobile Glass was the most helpful/friendly and had a very competitive price. The gentlemen who repaired our windshields was very nice and it only took about a half hour total per windshield. He was very quick and efficient with the replacement. I also really liked how I received a free upgrade to a tint on the top of our windshield (for both cars) at no extra charge. Also, since we got both windshields replaced from them, we received $10 off of each car as a "thank you." I would highly suggest using Mobile Glass for any repair or replacement needs as they were really great and I had a very positive experience using them. Everyone I had an encounter with at that company was very friendly, efficient and helpful. They were wonderful :)

WOW where to start?? This Company rocks! I had to replace a shattered passenger window on a car. Andrew got a quote to me in a matter of seconds (it was the lowest of the three that I quoted), and it was an all in price, nothing hidden, nothing left off. Savannah got is scheduled within the same day, and actually within a couple of hours. Ben showed up, and went right to work. He was fast, neat, and thorough. No glass left rattling around in the door, or left behind in the carpet. From start to finish this company was a pleasure to work with. The professional, skilled, friendly, and helpful customer service was a welcome change for someone who has become very jaded when it comes to customer service. They made me feel like a valued customer, and that I was working with a company that valued my Opinion. While no one is happy to call and have to get glass replaced, if I have to do it again, I will not hesitate to call on them again.

I called before they opened on Saturday morning and got a prompt call back once in their normal working hours. It was raining, so the gentleman on the phone suggested that we wait until Monday unless we had a fully covered workspace for the technician. We took his advise set-up a 9am to 2pm appointment for today. Also, the gentleman on the phone was very nice and pleasant to work with. Monday, the day of service they called at 11:36am to confirm they would be at our house by 12:15. They arrived just as expected. Our vehicle had previously windshield replacement as we bought it used. The technician explained that the old windshield was not installed properly and he would try to correct the issue. He was successful and did not charge any extra for the work. The price was very reasonable especially since they came to fix it at our house. Will 100% use Austin Mobile Glass in the future!

I called because I wanted my Camry’s windshield changed in a hurry before an inspection. Got a very prompt response on the phone and the service was very professional and timely. Was able to schedule a time the same day and I have to say I was pleased and impressed by the attitude of the technicians that showed up to replace the glass. They were very professional, respectful, and offered an explanation for the work they were about to do. Did I mention that they drove all the way to my place to get it done and I didn’t even have to leave my house?! They gave me heads up when they were on the way and all I did was go down to meet them when they arrived to unlock my car. Went back to work and got a call in about 25 minutes that the job was done. It’s all round professional service and would recommend them for anyone.

From the first time I called to the finished job we had an amazing experince with this company! Kristen was amazingly on the phone and so patient when my 6 mo old started to fuss. Jeff was prompt, on time and did a great job, leaving our driveway as clean as it was when he got here. Customer service with Austin Mobile Glass is excellent! Oh and the prices are the best I found!! I had called a few other comanies and was not impressed with their prices at all. Safelight was the worst. Zero customer service and very rude when I asked questions. It was so refreshing to have all my questions answered cheerly. Thank you Auto Glass for the great experience! We will be recommending you to our friends and family!

So on Friday night, unfortunately I came out of a restaurant to find my driver side window smashed in and my laptop stolen!!! Needless to say, I was pretty upset because now I had a truck full of glass, a busted window and it was raining!!! Saturday morning I contacted Austin mobile glass, Kristen got back to me in a timely manner and she able to get me an appointment early Monday afternoon. They showed up within the timeframe as quoted, price was reasonable and the tech did an excellent job!!! They were able to install the new window in about 20 minutes and the glass looks great. It's like it never happened!!! I highly recommend Austin mobile glass if you're ever in this unfortunate situation!!!
