Northstar Auto Glass

I've had two rock chips now on I-29 on the windshield of my truck. The first one happened in August 2022 and I went to Glass Doctors. The second one happened in August 2024 and I went to Northstar Auto Glass. I called the afternoon that it happened and they were able to get me in first thing the next morning. I talked to Aaron who did the chip repair after the work was done and I really appreciated his attitude. He told me he likes to take his time and let the resin work itself into the chip as much as possible which results in a less visible chip. When I compared the chip repairs from Glass Doctor and Northstar it was like night and day; the Northstar repair looked much better and was barely visible. On top of that, Northstar charged $20 (28.5%) less than Glass Doctor so this was a win-win for me. Great job Aaron, thank you very much!

Brought my vehicle in for a small stone chip, smaller then a dime. They "fixed" it...as I was leaving I noticed I could still see a crack. I asked the technician to relook at what I had seen and he abruptly said it will never be as good as a picture. Which was a picture of a close up of a small stone chip and how it should look after the resin work is done. I said ok...your the professional...left...4 hours later there was an actual crack. Called straight away in the morning they couldn't get me in til 1 PM. Pretty disappointing because I noticed the issue as soon as they had given me my car back that same day. We were on vacation and spent 2 days waiting around to get this done. Go to Safelite!

I called to get an estimate for my car since Safelite is really expensive. I talked to whoever told me the price of a $260. I told them that they were cheaper than Safelite the guy on the other hand end of the phone called he didn’t wanna hear about the other company and that hung up on me. I called them right back and I told him I didn’t mean to make them mad and they said well they didn’t wanna hear about the company and they said that do you want us to order you a new windshield? I said yes and I said well see you here if you even show up. I thought that was the most rude I have ever been spoken to. I’ll just take my business there go elsewhere. Hello Safelite.

North Star had the best price in town for my windshield including the calibration of the safety system. I drove off and an hour later I got a bad rock chip that immediately spread. Aaron had me come right back and worked to fill the chip and stop it from spreading. When it started to expand in another area he had me bring it back in again to do his best to slow it down. He is working to make a deal on another new windshield when I need it. The service has been excellent throughout and Aaron explained everything he did. Call them for your auto glass needs!

Looked up the place one day, showed ythey were open...no answer. Called back on a Tuesday, put on hold. After waiting for 4 minutes, I hung up. Later that day I called and I told the guy what I needed and told he'll call me back with an estimate. My back window is fixed and still no estimate from them. What a joke. Safelite way better.

Incredibly good value. This place is right along the bike trail so I took my bike along and did the loop while they replaced my windshield for a good price. I learned they were actually bought out by one of the larger glass suppliers which is one reason the cost was better than many places. In any case I will use them again.

I’ve been coming here for windshield replacements for several years . Recently I had a driver side window on an older car problem, Aaron and Dan were able to help me find a way to replace it. They showed me the problem as well. I am grateful for their kindness and integrity! Highly recommended!
