Ed's Auto Glass Repair

Thanks to Ed's Auto Glass, my Merc windshield was saved. I traveled from PA to Spartansburg for just one night when my windshield was hit by a large rock, resulting in a significant chip. After contacting several local glass repair shops, I faced various challenges: one shop said the chip was too deep and suggested a full replacement for my Mercedes, another couldn't accommodate me on the same day, and a third could only offer a late appointment which didn't fit my schedule. Unable to reach Ed's Auto Glass until they opened at 9 AM, I was there right at opening time. Impressively, just 30 minutes later, my windshield was expertly repaired. The staff at Ed's not only fixed the crack but also educated me on potential issues due to prior application of Rain-X that might have seeped into the crack. The repair held perfectly for my 600-mile return trip to PA. If I were local, Ed's place would be my go-to place.

It's been quite a few months since I used Ed's Auto Glass, but better late than never for leaving a stellar review of the service I received. I needed a replacement windshield for my 2016 Corvette and the owner had to order 3 factory GM units before one met his satisfaction. All this during the Covid-19 parts supply shortage and delays.Once a suitable replacement was finally delivered, it was installed and you'd never know a replacement is in place. Don't let your insurance companies sway you to use the national chains...you can specify the installer you prefer. Professional, knowledgeable, efficient, kind & courteous, exceeded expectations. Spoke to them at 4pm. Scheduled 9am next day appointment. Provided a quote 1/3 cost of other National providers. First thing I notice when I walked in was immaculate waiting area, scripture on the wall and was greeted by extremely professional team member Alex. These guys are extremely successful for a reason, Great customer experience, competitive pricing & delivering their service and craft with precision. Definitely a customer for life. I am highly satisfied. Ed has a nice facility with a very modern waiting area. He went out of his way to take care of everything. Not only did he install the windshield but he even put the rear view mirror back on. My previous Safelite replacement did not install the mirror or have a place to mount it. I chose Ed's because when I checked Safelite they want you to leave your car all day which creates a hardship for me. Thank you Ed! You did a great job! Best call i made. Stott's in Tryon recommended Ed's. Not only were they extremely courteous and professional but they were extremely knowledgeable and respectful. They came to the house today and installed the windshield really fast! We have them coming out again next week for a different issue but am comfortable in knowing they are serious pros and care about their work. I needed the back cab window replaced on a 2022 Ram 2500 and it would take about a week to get it from the dealer. I couldn't wait that long so I gave Ed's Auto Glass a call. They had a brand new OEM window just like I needed and they were able to get it replaced the following business day. They did a fantastic job! Their customer service is top notch! I would highly recommend this place and I guarantee you won't be disappointed! Definitely the best in the business!

They were very nice and reasonable on the windshield glass removal & installation. We made appt to take vehicle to them. We left vehicle and picked up later in the day after they called to advise vehicle was ready. They close at 5. Their quote was cheaper than the national brand you see advertised on TV. They quoted me to bring the vehicle in vs going out to fix remotely. Plus I was paying out of pocket vs insurance claim. Very pleased. New windshield looks great.

The staff were super nice, they did a great job on my windshield at a very reasonable price! They had a nice waiting room with bibles laid out top gear playing on the tv, free air fresheners, coffee, and mints. My windshield was a nightmare where the previous owner put caulk all over it and it was leaking. They were able to cover the old mess with a thicker molding which made it look great and fixed the leaking I would recommend them to anyone! Add photos

Had an excellent experience at Ed’s Autoglass. They take pride in their work, keep their shop clean, and offer great customer service—coffee and candies included! Brought in my Lexus GS350 for radar calibration, and they handled it professionally, diagnosing and fixing the issue within hours. Everything was clearly explained, and the quality of work was top-notch. Best repair shop experience I’ve had in years. Highly recommend and will definitely return!
