I WANT TO LEAVE NO STARS!!!!! I am furious with my service today! I had my windshield on my 2012 Dodge Caravan replaced today while at work. First the technician left my driver side car door wide open while it was pouring rain! I had to run outside and tell him to close my door while he was sitting INSIDE his van. My seat is moist and smells after sitting since he left hours ago. I could have forgiven that, but when I was leaving work I turned on my A/C and was BLASTED in the FACE with GLASS SHARDS!!!!!! I got out of my van to wipe my eyes and face and then noticed ALL THE GLASS IN MY VAN! IT was everywhere! On my driver seat, passenger seat, all over the floor boards in front, all over my cup holders and center console, and even managed to get to my childs CAR SEAT! I am beyond furious and angry. OF course I tried to call the office as soon as this happened, but they are closed. There is not anyone there to come clean my van out! This is unacceptable and I WILL speaking to their MANAGER tomorrow. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!

Took my Tesla model three to get the windshield replaced. They replaced the windshield and in the process broke my sunroof. I have photographs of the day before with no broken sunroof and photographs immediately after their repair where the sunroof is cracked with a chip right near the edge where it meets the windshield. I immediately called Safelite when I got home and they said they were starting a warranty repair. Didn’t hear anything after a week so I called back and another person said they had no record of that call and they would start a warranty repair on my behalf. More time went by and I still hadn’t heard anything so I called the store directly and they made an appointment for an assessment. Took it back and the manager tried to claim a rock must’ve hit my sunroof on the way home. Safelite location said they would not replace the glass. Update: Elevated the issue to a district manager and sent them the photos. They have agreed to replace the glass.

Such terrible customer service. On 2 occasions I’ve had my appointment cancelled or reschedule. 1st time I brought my Tesla in, they wouldn’t work on my car because it was less than 80%. Now mind you nothing was expressed telling me what percentage the car should be at the time of service. I suggested that I come pick up the car charge it and then bring it back, but nope they said they would have other people that would take priority even though I would have had it back by my appointment time. Now today I set up my appointment since last week but yet today they are telling me today that my appointment Friday needs to be rescheduled or canceled because the glass won’t be in by Friday. They constantly have that oh well attitude and clearly have shown me that they could care less about my business. For a customer who has bought all of my business here this is the last time I will get neglected by them.

No cars are perfect. Cars will have damage on and around the front. It is the part of the car that first faces elements, debris, and wind. The front roof of my vehicle had some paint damage due to the elements or who knows what (I've only owned my 2007 car for 1 yr). During my windshield repair, the tape used ripped a fresh patch of paint off of my roof. My amazing technician said I could call it in and have it repaired. The new manager at this location said it would be repaired and set up an appt with Enterprise and a local shop. The old manager call to inform me my vehicle paint would not be repaired due to a policy about existing paint damage. Very disappointing that Safelite made the mistake of getting me to the point of appointments before telling me "Sorry, we can fix the extra damage we did to your vehicle because of a policy". The customer service was amazing up until that point.

I had 2 windshields replaced...my only complaint is that they did not vacuum up the glass on the first car 5-21-22. I had my second windshield on another one of my vehicles replaced today 5-23-22. I asked that they vacuum after they are done.. unfortunately they did not...I made the job easier for them, on both cars by removing the trim, all they had to do was cut out the old glass and install the new glass. My wait wasn't very long. I also noticed had I not removed the trim they would've charged me for it...my bill was $355, and that was just for glass installation and disposal fee. I would've given 5 stars but leaving a mess that could've been vacuumed up.

Nick showed up right on time, friendly smile and all, and got straight to work like he’d been fixing windshields his whole life. Not only did he do an incredible job, but he was also just one of those genuinely good people you don’t run into every day professional, kind, and clearly proud of what he does. My windshield looks brand new, and I honestly caught myself admiring it like it was a piece of art. Nick turned what could’ve been a stressful situation into an easy, even enjoyable experience. If every employee brought the same care and good energy that Nick did, the world (and the road) would be a much better place.

I had my windshield replaced this morning at home and Brice was so very nice! Before he left, he explained to me about not driving the car for 30 or so minutes, plus not washing the car for a few days. After he left, I forgot some of the other information he told me to hold off on so I called the phone number he originally called me from and he explained in better detail of not having any maintenance done to my car for a few days and not having the car jacked up. He was very respectful and very courteous! This is my 3rd windshield replacement with Safelife and will continue to use them! Thank you again, Brice!

Everything looked fine. They started working on my car. What's not right is that another vehicle arrived and they stopped working on mine, giving priority to the other one. To me, that's unethical. I can even see it as somewhat racist. Regardless of the excuse they want to give, at least they should have had the courtesy to come out and comment on what was happening. I've been to other places to have windows replaced; it doesn't take more than an hour and a half. I don't understand why they give me an appointment if they don't respect it.ServicesAuto windshield repair

Safelite did an excellent job replacing my Camry's windshield. They recalibrated the Lane Departure system perfectly. I did a drop off in the morning. Job was done by lunch time. The only issue I had was that it was impossible to call the office to check the status. The phone went directly to national robo menu. I did get a hold of customer service via email, they also were unable to contact the Palmetto Commerce Pkwy, N Charleston office. There were two workers there when I picked up the vehicle. So it is a mystery about the phones.

The technician was excellent! However, when I set up the job, the management failed to mention a few things. First, their default glass is not OEM (original manufacturer). So for example if you have a new Bronco, the glass will not say "Bronco" on it like the original. The technician said you can get the OEM, and they will pay for it through insurance, but you have to request it and also go to the Ford dealership. This is the only reason I am giving 4 stars in stead of 5.
