A windshield replacement should be easy and carefree however my experience with this company was anything but. When they finished replacing my windshield, I was told they were unable to calibrate my cameras, and I would have to come back a week later. I went to leave their shop, and my car would not drive. The car would turn on however would not drive and the owner and tech were telling me it was because my battery was dead. If the battery were dead my car would not be able to turn on. They offered no help at the time. I called AAA and they told me the car would have to be towed to the dealership. About 30 minutes later the owner showed up and offered an uber for me to go to work (mind you I had been there almost three hours) to allow time for their tech to figure out what was going on. Hours later I received a call that everything was fine -- the tech "forgot" to do something with the computer system in the car. After speaking with Lexus of Charleston (my dealership) they informed me the Lexus is not drivable without camera calibration -- but this company told me to come back a week later? They clearly have unqualified techs working on cars which is scary. The day after my windshield replacement the weather stripping on my car windshield blew off because it was not tacked down properly -- contacted Lexus and it's $250 for parts and labor. Charleston Auto Glass refused to reimburse me reporting to me that they would prefer one of their techs replace it for me -- heck no. Will not ever let them touch my car again!!

I had an amazing experience with Charleston Auto Glass. Last Tuesday, I had a landscaper accidentally shoot a rock thru my window. I called around and found no one available until one week later… but! Upon my first call to Charleston Auto Glass, they checked stock and availability and got me in that very next day!!! Thankfully I didn’t have to drive around a long time with it shattered and open. They took care of me so well. They even spoke with the landscaper directly for payment so I didn’t have to do much but bring my vehicle in. Their staff was top notch. Truly a sweet bunch of guys, I had family visiting in town that rode with me. Their office is nice and their lounge area is so comfy and cozy complete with chairs, bathroom, wifi. From the moment of drop off to the moment I left, it was under 30min. I was so impressed. Thank you so much for your customer service service and kindness. Y’all are the best!

I had a new Lexus NX 350h with 1400 miles on it that had a rock hit the windshield from a passing SUV that created a double crack. This was while I was driving on Route 17 eastbound to Charleston. I called Charleston Auto Glass and they told me they could look at it if I got there before 5 pm, which I did. I met Nick there who was their salesperson but has over 20 years of auto glass experience. This guy was amazing and looked at possible ways to use resin to fill the holes and repair the auto glass. He was honest and transparent with me about what he thought was going to happen and recommended replacement of the glass, which I agreed. I got an approval from.my insurance company who faxed them the information on Monday and the windshield was replaced on Tuesday. They were fast, efficient and professional. If you have an auto glass issue, go to these people. They are simply the best I have ever worked with!

Charleston Auto Glass for the win! When 3 other auto glass shops in town said they couldn’t do the job, Charleston Auto Glass stepped up to the plate and knocked it out of the park. While replacing a side window in a van is not your most common job, they made it look easy. Chris did an expert job, getting it done in about 30 minutes. Many thanks to Tricia and John for their willingness to do the job. They were professional, reasonable, and straightforward. I will definitely bring future glass work their way!

I'd read some good reviews for the shop so decided to give them a shot over Safelite. Appointment was for 3 pm but they reached out early to let me know they were ahead of schedule and could get me in sooner. Arrived at 2:28 and was done by 3:48. Not saying this is typical of them but they move with efficiency, even put my oil change sticker on the new window without asking! I pray I don't have to use them again soon but if I need glass work done I know where I'll be going. Thank you Nick and other techs!

Recently had my windshield replaced at Charleston Auto Glass and it was a pleasant, fast, and easy experience. They were able to accommodate my needs and returned my vehicle faster than expected. Their staff was friendly, polite, and professional start to finish and their waiting room was very comfortable. Please look to use locally owned businesses like this compared to large corporations etc. who are in-personal and don't focus on customer experience. Highly recommend Charleston Auto Glass

Great service! Everyone was incredibly nice. The technicians who replaced my windshield were very fast and did great work. I was told the job, which included a windshield replacement and lane departure sensor recalibration should take two hours, but they finished everything in only 45 minutes! They even remembered to remove and reinstall my parking pass sticker, which I hadn't even remembered to mention!

Called and spoke with the kindest woman, Trisha. She was cheerful and easygoing. We had just got a chip in our windshield from a rock, and the chip was completely fixed within 45 minutes of speaking with her on the phone. Phenomenal price, I sure hope we don’t get any more rock chips, but if we do, I feel better knowing we have a reliable place to take care of us. Thanks again for such great service
