True Blue Auto Glass

Just had a positive & painless experience with True Blue replacing the windshield on my fancy car. Really, from beginning to end was very well handled by Denise from their Wayne PA office (online & phone) and Jay who did the actual installation at my home. I'm happy to recommend True Blue if you happen to need their services. Denise answered several questions upfront since my car has safety features that use cameras through the windshield that might require recalibration, and she also connected with USAA Insurance who already recognized True Blue as an "approved service provider". That made the assignment of the claim and payment process very easy. On the installation day Jay was on-time, friendly, and followed a detailed process for the glass replacement itself. He was patient, thorough, did a perfect job at positioning and sealing the glass, and also with the finish work including reconnecting the safety features and trim pieces. I'm a car guy myself and appreciated the level of detail. All while I was working from home and eating lunch. Good people, and professional service from beginning to end. Rest assured if you’ve never had your windshield replaced/don’t know where to start— they make the process straightforward (and they’re there to help). They texted me promptly after I requested a windshield replacement quote on their website, and we set up an appointment for the next day. This being my first broken windshield, I filed a claim with my auto insurance right *after* I booked the appointment with True Blue, but everything worked out— minutes later, True Blue confirmed they received my claim and updated their quote. They called me the next morning with a time frame (i.e., “Your technician, Jon, will be there between 1-2pm”). As the hour approached, Jon texted me his ETA (~20 mins). When he arrived, he explained what he’d be doing and that it’d take about 45 mins. Sure enough, 45 mins later I had a brand new, crystal clear windshield. Jon outlined the next steps, such as how the car needed to sit still for the next hour, and how I had 10 days to get an inspection. I appreciated the strong communication every step of the way. My original review remains listed below, but I felt the need to update it. In my 15 years in insurance, I would often be asked where to go to get a windshield replaced. Though I never got a dime or even a gift basket I would often refer folks to True Blue through the years and I know many went there who had good experiences. Having been out of insurance for about a year I reached out about my own glass claim recently and while no one was rude or anything the process was very confusing (and I have done this before for myself and others hundreds of times). After getting different messages and directions I decided to go elsewhere. Maybe it was a blip, but I can't waste any more days waiting to get this figured out. Sorry. My old review from 5 years ago........ This group does really amazing work. Our insurance customers always speak highly of the skill, professionalism and attitude of True Blue. Scott and his team have often gone above and beyond for people we send their way, something you do not always see these days. If I could go higher then 5 I would. True Blue is a really great locally owned and operated company.

I really enjoyed every aspect of scheduling and receiving service. From the beginning, I called a lot of places, but True Blue was the only one that seemed able and willing to patiently answer all of my questions. They really went above and beyond—we spoke for about 10 minutes the first time I called, and when I called back (and spoke to the same person, mind you!), they helped me speak to my insurance. They were very transparent about my options, the prices, what was and was not feasible, etc. They offered to have someone come the next day, with no additional fee for driving out to me, and when they suspected the rain might make their work less than optimal, they promptly let me know and rescheduled. They arrived on time, communicated about when they would show up, threw in some extra work my car needed free of charge, finished in about 45 minutes, and were just generally very kind, attentive, communicative, and genuine. The prices are good (and have no hidden fees), but even if they weren't, I would pay extra to have this service through them, should I ever need it again. I highly recommend True Blue.

On our cross country drive from Texas to Villanova, we caught a rock that cracked the windshield and spread quickly. I had called and booked a national glass repair and replace chain for an in shop repair during the pandemic. Their switchboard customer service rep upsold me windshield wipers I didn't need. After hanging up, I had second thoughts and decided to buy local. I'm glad I found True Blue. Denise was very professional and helped me switch my insurance claim to their services. Even though I live in Texas, True Blue has affiliates that could honor the warranty should anything happen (it hasn't). True Blue's technician provided quick onsite mobile service early the next morning where we were staying. Quick, easy and super professional and transferred my registration and Toll tag too! Really impressed with True Blue. Great prices and even better that they’re 100% mobile. I left a message Sunday afternoon looking to for a quote to have my windshield replaced. I heard back Sunday evening with a quote that beat out all other competitors (including Safelite) AND had availability the next day. The the tech showed up on time Monday morning, was professional, and had it all done in under and hour. The quality of the glass was exactly the same as I had before (was previously replaced with aftermarket glass). There is a lifetime warranty for all install and glass quality related issues as well, which is a plus. Not often do you find a place that has great prices, service, and speed. You typically have to sacrifice at least one, but not here. Hopefully I won’t need a replacement again, but if I do, I’m glad I found True Blue.

Excellent from start to finish. Adam was my tech and he is awesome! Absolutely knows what he is doing, answers any questions you have and is very nice and friendly. Janet in the office was great too, talked to her a few times and she couldn't have been more helpful. Thrilled with my decision to go with True Blue and will recommend to anyone who finds themselves in the unfortunate situation of having a broken windshield. Also, the quality of the windshield is top notch, I instantly recognized the manufacturer. It's been about 3 weeks, so it's rained, it's poured, it's been hot, I've gotten car washes. The automatic lights come on in a timely manner like always (sensor in the windshield). This replacement windshield is just as good as the original one. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.

Customer Service: True Blue was very helpful in fixing a chip in our windshield. They communicated throughout the process and proactively reached out on a rainy day to reschedule due to inclement weather. Overall the customer service was excellent. They showed up during the requested time slot and called 40 minutes before arriving. Price - My auto insurance did not cover the repair but True Blue did reduce my fee to that of the fee that they've negotiated with my auto insurance company! The final price with True Blue was half of what SafeLite quoted. True Blue even offer a full refund if the fix does not pass my next state inspection. Completed Work - They did exactly what was asked and fixed a small chip in our windshield. I will be calling True Blue for any future Auto Glass needs.

We called and got quotes from a couple of places. While True Blue Auto Glass wasn't the cheapest, they were the most knowledgeable about what was needed for out 2005 Toyota Camry XLE. They even scheduled us for the next business day, which happened to be Monday. Jay came to our home and replaced our windshield in less than 40 minutes flat! He was courteous and patient with us as we asked him what was supposed to happen, as this was our first replacement experience. He answered all of our questions in detail, and treated us with dignity and respect. We will go to them again if we ever have any auto glass issues in the future.
