I had the windshield on my Lexus RX replaced here back in December, and before that, I came in for a chip repair in 2022. I’ve always had a great experience, which is why I consider myself a loyal customer. Recently, though, due to a hectic schedule, I ended up going to Safelite since they’re closer to me. That turned out to be a huge mistake. Just a few hours after picking up my car, I noticed the auto-sensing wipers weren’t functioning properly. I called Safelite’s Portland location, but got routed to a call center. Unfortunately, the person I spoke with didn’t really understand the issue and couldn’t offer much help. They booked me for a follow-up… two weeks out. That didn’t sit right with me, so I reached out to Brad at Collision Auto. He replied quickly and told me to come by the same day—they’d take a look. That alone speaks volumes about their customer service. I showed up, and the team immediately checked things out, explained what was wrong, and to my surprise—they fixed the sensor right then and there, completely free of charge. No hassle, no hidden fees. Just honest, quality service. This is what sets Collision Auto apart. They’re not just in it for profit—they genuinely care about their customers and stand behind their work. Meanwhile, companies like Safelite might be convenient, but they lack that personal touch and attention to detail. Even though Collision Auto is a 45 to 50-minute drive for me, I won’t think twice about coming back. Brad and his team have earned my trust, and I’m sticking with them for the long run. Huge thanks again to Brad and the crew. You guys are the best.

The original windshield on my 2021 Audi Q5 developed a pretty bad leak along the top edge that would let water in at the car wash and during heavy rain. Collision gets really good reviews so I contacted them through their site and Brad quickly emailed back. We spoke on the phone a few minutes later, discussing the options for OEM glass vs. non-OEM, and I had an appointment for the very next day. After arriving, it was confirmed that it was an adhesion problem and the glue was letting go along the top edge. I hung out in the waiting area for about an hour and a half while the windshield was replaced, signed some papers and was on my way. A couple of weeks have now passed and I've washed my car several times and it's been rained on, and there's no water dripping down the inside of the glass anymore. Everyone I talked to while there was super friendly, provided me with all the details I needed regarding what was done, the glass is really good quality and the job ended up being finished quicker than I was quoted, which is cool. Hopefully I won't need another windshield anytime soon but if I do, I'll be back!

I got a quote online and had a response within a couple hours. In the email they quoted me the price and told me to call and schedule an appointment. I called and they said they could do it the day of if I could bring my car in. I wasn’t available to bring the car in but I was amazed that they could get the glass that quickly and get me back in working order the day I was quoted. I was able to bring my car in a couple days later and they had my car done within a couple hours. When I brought my car in there and it was a mess. I had not vacuumed in a long time and it was dirty. I was shocked to see when I picked my car up that they had vacuumed it perfectly and I couldn’t have been more impressed. The work on the windshield was perfect and I have no issues. Another great sign of a great business is being greeted by an amazing dog while I was dropping off my keys. I will definitely be coming back to replace the windshield in my other vehicle. I highly recommend this great shop.ServicesAuto windshield replacement

TLDR: Great people, great work, fast and inexpensive. Rock chip windshield repair done in under 30 min, no appt needed. ALSO: there's an office dog that's super friendly, he's a good boy!!! Story time: Had my first rock chip after >20 years of driving in the PNW winter, looked up the big national chain with the ads and catchy jingle, and wow, their google reviews weren't kind. Expanded my search and found Collision Auto Glass, sent an email very late at night and got a reply at 7AM in the morning. Love that Collision is a locally owned and operated company that's been around for a very long time, which is always a good sign. They also listed the price right on the website, and it is very inexpensive to the other place that I also received a quote. Anyway, took my car to Collision on a Friday morning, got the rock chip patched in under 30 mins. Did I mentioned the super friendly office dog?!?

I've been putting off getting my windshield replaced for far too long and finally decided to get it taken care of. I got an immediate response with my inquiry with a quote and they even offered to get me int he next day. I wasn't able to make that appointment but they got me in when I was available next. I was honestly shocked how quick I was able to check in and how friendly everyone was. You don't always get both of those amazing qualities in one! I was even able to camp out in the waiting room with my computer to get some work done while I waited. I was even more shocked when my car was done in about half the time they'd quoted. The checkout was even quicker than checking in, too. There was also an office dog that popped up behind the counter to say hi. It was a cherry on top of a great service. I will definitely go back to them and tell all of my friends about them!

After having a terrible experience with the people at Safelite which resulted in not even getting our windshield repaired. (Turns out Safelite techs were unable to recalibrate our vehicle resulting in refusal to repair-when come to find out we do not even have a camera in our front windshield to recalibrate!) We were then referred to Collision Auto Glass & Calibration directly from the Land Rover dealership. From step one they were informative and quick to get stuff done. They assisted in getting us an OEM windshield, covered by our insurance. They informed us as soon as the part came in and were able to drive to our home (in Ridgefield, which is a little bit of a drive for them) and replace it the same day as they received it. Riley, the tech was wonderful as well! Hopefully, we won't need their services again but will definitely be back and recommend!

The staff was friendly and the prices were better than other shops, but, they brought out the wrong windshield originally and had to reschedule my appointment for the following week. After they installed the correct windshield, I noticed the trim around my rear view mirror was not put together correctly. They came out one last time and said it was due to the dash camera. But it was not like this before. The side with the wire coming out is flush, it’s the other side with a gap. Also, about an hour after the windshield was put in, my airbag light came on. The dealership said their was a fault in the wiring for the front passenger pillar airbag. I paid for the repairs out of my pocket and was not reimbursed. Again, they are really nice guys, just not competent. Would not go here again.

In an era where solid customer service and quality workmanship has gone the way of the dinosaurs, the timing couldn't have been better to find Collision Auto Glass. I woke up at 3:30am to my car alarm going off and a broken-out passenger window in my beloved Audi RS3. Not only did Collision get me in for a repair within 4 hours of calling them, and not only was their price insanely reasonable (especially considering the number of high-end cars in their lot, which they specialize in), but also their staff was incredibly friendly and empathetic to my situation. I will 1000% use these guys for any future glass work and recommend them to everyone without hesitation. What a fantastic day to find out that customer service and quality workmanship is alive and well!

My car was broken into via my rear window, and I got a hold of this place to figure out what my options were… Long story short, I’m from out of town, going home in two days and my car window would take 7 to 10 just to be shipped from out of state. The gentleman, knowing I wasn’t going to be buying anything from him, still offered me advice and invited me to the shop so that he could help patch up my window for my drive back to Seattle. When I arrived, not only was the shop in impeccable condition, but the service was 10 out of 10 and they didn’t accept a dollar from me. It was phenomenal to see this kind of generosity and community. I hope I have a reason to use this business in the future just to support them.ServicesWindow repair

UPDATE: owner personally called and left an email explaining it was likely their VOIP system that dropped the call...if it was on my end I would have got 3 beeps indicating service disconnection (was in the telecom industry for a number of years) so I'll take their word on it. Ended up finding another company that did the job with an old stock Nippon Sheet Glass windshield for $90 less. Updated rating from 1 to 4 stars. Called in to get a quote for a front windshield replacement...looks it up and gives me a price. I ask what glass manufacturer they are using (FYG aka Fuyao...chinese manufacturer that does OEM and mixed quality aftermarket) and the guy says "oh, are you shopping around?" and then hangs up on me.
