10/25/2024 Our windshields take a beating and we had a rock hit and crack our windshield Wednesday this week. Our issue was we were lending our car to a friend and the crack was unsafe as it went scythe whole driver’s side. Jimmy at Action Auto glass was amazing. He had the windshield in stock and had it replaced by Friday morning! It helps that Action Auto is an approved company with our auto insurance company. (USAA) Thank you to the amazing crew at Action Auto glass our car looks great with the new windshield. Update: Jimmy at Action Auto Glass is amazing. We got a nick in our windshield and he was quick to repair it. This is our first choice for any sort of windshield or car window repair. They are professional and so nice to work with that we wish all car repairs were this easy. Thanks Jimmy and Action Auto Glass. Our car dealership told us they would send our car to Jimmy at Action Auto Glass. They could not get our car in for four weeks. We called Jimmy directly and he got us in the next day. Went to the dealership and picked up the windshield and was great at getting things done. When we picked up the car he pointed out that we had a very new issue not related to the windshield but important to the use of the car. Jimmy and his team went above and beyond to deliver on our windshield repair after a rock cracked the glass on our Volvo. Action Auto Glass was fast and accommodating. It turns out our insurance company approved an after-market windshield that did not work with our car's heads-up display. I dreaded going through the hassle of fixing it, but Jimmy handled ALL the back and forth with our insurance company, got the right windshield approved, and ordered at no additional cost to us. He even drove to our house, drove my car back to the shop, fixed it, and returned the car in a couple hours. I'm grateful that he did a fantastic job and especially that he fixed a problem he did not cause. These guys are fantastic!!! They came out to my house to replace my windshield 5-6 weeks ago and did a great job. Punctual, reliable, excellent work. When I a little rock hit my brand new windshield and resulted in a small crack, I went to the shop and they fixed it for free! How's that for excellent service? And they were super nice and friendly too. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone. UPDATE 3/11/11: I had a few little chips/cracks in my windshield from all those rocks they put on the road this past winter. I expected to have to pay this time since they were fixing 3 spots, but they didn't charge me again! These guys are the BEST! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Best windshield replacement in Portland. Staff was friendly and helpful. I was given the best price at $100 cheaper then everyone else I called. This price included the windshield, seals all other parts, mobile service, next day service and labor. Also included was a lifetime warranty. The tech who came out was very friendly, fast, professional and informative. When I originally called for the price quote the tech who spoke to me explained to me what to look for when calling others for a quote and what to watch for so I would get the best service possible even if I did not go with his service. I would recommend this business 100% with complete confidence. This company has it together they know what they are doing and they do it very well.

THEY ACTUALLY CALL YOU BACK! Kind of amazing these days.. My daughter's car got broken into (she made it almost a year living in downtown Portland without a break in so we are calling this a win) these guys not only return phone calls, but also had the right glass for a 13 year old Mazda and fixed it all up the next day. Our insurance said we only had to pay our deductible and show them our card, but they insisted on full payment, but I'm not sure if our people told us wrong, or they didn't want to file the claim for us. Either way that's what credit cards are for and we were very happy taking our car there. I would indeed recommend these guys. Liked their attitude.

I had a great experience with Action Auto Glass. They were quick, professional, friendly, and had the exact glass I needed on hand. They were also the only shop out of the seven that I called, that would help me on a Friday and not make me wait until Monday. Jimmy was very accommodating and let me drop my car off that afternoon to keep it safe overnight. He had the job done the next morning and even dropped my car off to me because I sprained my ankle. Discovered my car window to be smashed when I was about to go into work. Called insurance and the earliest they could get me in for service was next day. Needed sooner due to moving soon. Found Action Auto Glass on Google Maps and called them. Call was quick and easy after providing year/make/model of car; Jimmie found the exact part almost immediately and had it in stock. Told me to drop off the car whenever was convenient. Brought it in close to 9 AM and received a call saying the service was done just 4-5 hours later. Jimmie and his team were AMAZING, friendly, and direct. Highly recommend Action Auto Glass.

Jimmy and the team did an awesome job replacing our broken windshield. The replacement came out flawless and they even handled the recalibration of the Eye Sight cameras that is required by Subaru after windshield replacement. After the repair there was absolutely no signs that the glass had been replaced. They also worked with our insurance company so that I only paid the deductible and they took care of collecting the rest from the insurance company. I had a rock from a dump truck hit my windshield hard and shattered my window on my brand new Lexus. Jimmy was so friendly and helpful when I called to get my windshield replaced. Matt picked up my car and was super friendly and helpful as well and Jimmy dropped it back off later in the same day!! They billed my auto insurance and they made the entire process AMAZING- so refreshing to receive service like this and it has been years since I have been treated so well. I can not say enough good about this company and their knowledge and customer service!!!

Very friendly and professional. Obviously replacing a windshield is never an awesome experience, but Action Auto Glass made it about as painless as possible. Quick turnaround, reasonable prices, and courteous customer interaction. They're also reasonably easy to get to, even from the west side, although the parking lot is a little small. When I had my truck windshield replaced they even took the time to transfer my parking stickers to the same location on the new windshield. I really appreciate that kind of attention to detail in customer service.
