K and D Auto Glass

Jeff K (of K&D Glass) not only replaced my entire windshield, but he then came to my home to replace it again after the automatic rain sensor stopped working. He said it was the result of a faulty connector not being properly adhered to the windshield causing the sensor to become overly sensitive and it basically kept my wiper blades swinging back and forth as fast as possible even if just a few droplets of rain hit the windshield. Not only did he make two special trips (first to my office to diagnosis the issue and second to my home to replace it) but he wouldn't accept any payment at all for it, not even a cash tip. I felt bad offering a tip, but I would have felt worse not offering anything. I truly believe that a hallmark of a successful business is when the proprietors don't elevate their interests above their clientele's, but rather succinct them so that they're as closely aligned as possible, and that means making people feel like you did something special just for them, because they're a name and not just a number. As an insurance agent of more that 17 years, I wish more consumers knew that just because Safelite administers the claims call centers for a majority of insurance companies' windshield claims, they required to do just that, administer the filing of the claim, period full stop! After the notice of loss is completed, you're Free to choose any shop that you'd like that is accredited repair shop for windshield and glass to do your repairs. Save yourself the headache. I guarantee you Safelite would not have come to my office and then 2-days later to my home (on a Friday afternoon) to change my windshield out for a second time without charging me one red cent... but K&D Glass did!!! My car was broken into over the weekend and the rear driver's seat window smashed. I had called around for quotes and then contacted K and D Auto Glass. The female staff person who answered was very friendly, quoted a good price and set up a time to come out the next day to repair the window. They do not charge any extra for mobile service. The following day, Jeff came out and fixed my window and vacuumed up all the broken shards of glass left from the break in. He cleaned the glass and his customer service was excellent. He explained that if I had any other problems with the glass, to contact them and they'd fix it. However, the repair was done correctly and I am so glad to be able to drive my car again with a new window installed!

Shopping for a new windshield is never really fun, I contacted the dealer and they told me they use K & D auto glass so I went right to the source and I'm glad I did. They were about a week out on scheduling. I came down from Delaware, OH and ended up being about a half hour late for my 8am appointment, the traffic by the airport was bumper to bumper at that time of the morning (just a heads up!). K & D were about $100 cheaper than the competition and had me out of there and back on the road in AN HOUR! I had an odd scenario the top painted part of my spoiler on my car broke off I was referred to K and D by a body shop I had used as they wanted a crazy amount of money to replace it. I called and they came out to take a look not only were they able to reattach it but did so at a very low cost and in a very short amount of time. Jeff was great very personable and clearly an expert at his craft. While here I had him look at the windshield on my other car as it had a small chip he advised me to call my insurance as they would probably pay to repair it, what a stand up guy. Highly recommend K and D!

After I shopped around this past spring, and looked at least 5 compaines I Picked K and K Auto Glass. The price point more than resaonable, and they came to my home. Great to work with! I received a fast response and was able to get scheduled right away for a windshield replacement. I dropped off my vehicle and only a few hours later I got a call that it was complete and the work was properly done. The employees are great people to deal with. I will say the location is difficult to find, but beyond that no complaints! Very happy!

K&D was amazing to work with! My truck was broken into and the passenger side window was smashed. K&D was able to get me in same day when other places were telling me a week and they were half the cost. Super friendly staff and had me in and out in 30 minutes. Can’t recommend them enough.

They came on time they finish the job in a short amount of time and it looks good in they were very friendly and very Accommodating. The only issue is from the inside the roof fabric edge is exposed. Hopefully they will fix it
