I made a deposit and retained McConnell to replace my windshield, and separately arranged to have another business replace the tint. It would take about 1/2 day to get it all done. I had to take time off work. McConnell knew this. McConnell cancelled my appointment and gave me no effective advance notice. They did leave a voicemail 27 minutes before a 3 hour appointment. THIS IS NOT SUFFICIENT NOTICE TO THE CUSTOMER. I found out when I walked in their door that it was cancelled, after arranging the day. It's 30 miles round trip. There were thunderstorms in the area but when I arrived McConnell was open, customers going in and out of their business. The tint business next door and other area businesses, all open. Weather cleared up nicely as I drove home. I attempted to reschedule the install, but after a series of emails, McConnell was not trying to accommodate a reschedule. They implied they might not refund my deposit. Finally, I quit playing their games and cancelled. They wasted my time and I lost a $20 tint deposit because of them. They did *nothing* to make any of this right, only rationalize poor customer service.

Absolutely Incredible Experience!!!!! I intentionally waited two weeks before sharing my thoughts because I wanted to ensure I had a solid understanding of their work. I can confidently say that the entire experience was flawless. From the very first phone call to stepping through the door, the hands-on approach they provided was outstanding. They took care of everything, sparing me from the hassle of dealing with the insurance company. I chose to go with them due to their excellent reputation, and now I can personally confirm that they truly are the best in the Triangle area for glass repair or installation. Great service after my windshield developed a crack. The people on the phone were great - helpful, flexible, and informative. Dana and another man came out to do the job, and they were both nice, polite, and responsive to questions. They worked steadily and efficiently, and, as far as I can tell, the new windshield is perfect. And they moved my ePass sticker, too, so I don't have the hassle of replacing that (which can be a hassle). Overall, I'm very pleased, and I would hire them again without hesitation. I like doing business with local companies when I can, and this experience was top notch.

This is the second car I have brought to McConnell’s and hands down the best smiling face service. Family run so you know they treat you like family and should I tell even begin to talk about price and how they beat the local corporate competitors here!! Hands down super satisfied. Adonis was extremely friendly on the phone and he knows his stuff. The technician Mason was super careful and diligent in replacing my windshield. Joe greeted me with a smile and a handshake and thanked me for my business.. can’t go wrong here folks.. I have two more family cars I will bring them.

I’m very particular about what shops I take my car to but when I called McConnell Auto Glass I was put to ease once Desiree answered the phone. She took the time to explain to me the process of repairing my windshield and telling me the couple options I had. I proceeded to look into those options and everything she told me was 100% true. I scheduled an appointment and got my glass replaced. The process was seamless; the employees were very thorough, had great communication, and did awesome work. Don’t hesitate bringing your vehicle here.

After my lawn care company (who I love) accidentally threw a rock into my glass, I decided to replace a previously cracked windshield at the same time as the rear. It's been three weeks since I took my Honda CR-V to McConnell, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service. The team was incredibly helpful and efficient in scheduling my appointment, coordinating with my insurance (State Farm), and getting my front windshield replaced in no time. Dana and Evan did a great job! I'm a contractor and I'm always on the go, I had my wife Danielle schedule the service to my Ford F-150 pickup while on a job site. These two guys came out promptly explained to me how long it would take. They fixed the glass very fast and we're on their way. Perfect service for me! I never have time to go into a shop and this really helped me out. I appreciate you guys! These guys work hard and it shows I really appreciate them.

I have had my windows in my cars replaced more times than I can stand. My glass was cracked all the way from one side to the other side. However, I have never had anyone so professional, informative and caring . The prices are so affordable, I did not cringe when they told me the amount. Dana and Nate installed after-market glass. Happy with the result so far. Appreciate the instructions to be followed for the next 24 hours and week (no washing!). Not happy about the bubbles on the top edge, but I was told it’s how the glass came. I’ll probably opt for OEM if it happens again. Had an issue with stained fabric and Dana came back out to clean!
