Ackerman Auto Glass

I had a surface chip on the windshield. It did not penetrate more than the surface but the small chip was rough to the touch and was something I figured I would see if it could be smoothed out. I emailed Troy and he got back to me same day. I emailed a picture and he shot me a quote right over email. In short he made arrangements to come to my place of work, make the repair and handled everthing mobile. He minimzed the chip and smoothed it out. He saw one other small chip and did that too. The chip is now more of a small spot. I am pleased with the job done, a very fair price and the fact he came to me. Troy's work was neat and complete. Thank you

Troy was responsive to emails and we very quickly scheduled a time for him to work on my cars. I had chips on two different windshields and he gave me a little discount since he only had to make one trip. It's nice to be able to patronize a local business. He does quality work, is very pleasant to deal with, and he charges a very fair rate. I also appreciate that he guarantees his work. I hope that I won't need his services again, but if I do I will certainly call on him rather than any of the big chains.

I called Troy Ackerman to get a quote for a windshield chip repair. Over the phone he gave me a price estimate as well as informed me that my insurance would likely cover it for free. I asked to set up an appointment. Troy offered to come fix it same day in the hopes of preventing a crack from forming, he showed up on time and handled all the insurance communications. 10 minutes later my windshield is fixed! Great company/owner, will recommend to anyone needing auto glass repair.

Had a chip in my windshield that I was concerned would spread. Ackerman Auto Glass was recommended to me by one of my coworkers. Called the number on the website, and since they provide a mobile service, Troy was at my location in about an hour and repaired my windshield in 15 minutes. Not only was I very satisfied with his professionalism and quality of work, but the fact that this is a mobile service made it extremely convenient for me. I highly recommend this company.

Called looking for a quote to remove a liquid/glue/adhesive coating I’d picked up behind a spray truck. I’d tried several types of cleaners and scrubs, but nothing removed it. Talked to the owner, who recommended that I use razor blades to scrape the windshield. It did the trick perfectly! He could have easily turned the call into a money maker for his business, but he provided the remedy, free of charge, over the phone. Thank you!

A rock chipped my windshield on the way into work. I called Ackerman Auto Glass after getting a quote from the national advertising glass firm. Troy was at my car later that same afternoon and did a terrific and professional job of fixing the chip in 30 minutes or less. It was great to work with a local company who stands behind their work. Excellent work and amazing customer service. I’ve had 3 windshields replaced form Ackerman Auto Glass ( rocks love my cars ) and they have come to the house twice and I went to the shop in Raleigh once. Each time it was fast and the windshields looked great!!! Hopefully the rocks stay clear from my windshields, but if they don’t , then I will be calling Ackerman. Thanks again

I looked around and got a few quotes from other places, but Ackerman was by far the cheapest and able to come to my house to fix the chip in my windshield the next day, which happened to be Saturday. It took less than ten minutes to fix and cost half as much as any other quote I was given. It's always nice to support a local business too!

You have to love owner/operator businesses. Mr. Ackerman offers a great service and takes pride in his business. Even if your insurance does not cover the repair (which mine does not) it is a fair price. He is very professional and I am usually in and out in less the 5 minutes!!! I highly recommend Ackerman Auto Glass!
