We had a pit on our windshield that hadn't cracked out. Then my wife got another one. I'm aware, sometimes when you go to fill a pit it makes it worse. So we had both of them filled and sure enough the crack was a lot bigger. I used to do this work, doesn't even look like the technician put a patch on top of the pit when he was done. That's not really my real beef. Called and left a message on Saturday. Got a call back on Wednesday from corporate customer service. Told them the issue, guy said yeah sometimes that can happen but we can apply the cost of the pit repair to the windshield replacement, when would you like to schedule it? No real empathy, just when would you like to schedule a time so we can make more money. We talk a little more. I ask what about a reduced fee because it hadn't cracked out before and we didn't need a windshield replacement, now after your guy did the work we probably do. And have the manager call me. I said sure.. still no call. Almost 48 hours later and I get prompted to do a review. So this is my review Edited to note that corporate customer service offered to have the manager of the store call me. He said he would have the manager call me and I hadn't gotten one 48 hours after that phone call so I gave them a one-star review . Now look at the response. Another offer to have corporate customer service handle my complaint. After corporate offered to have their manager call me, which still hasn't occurred. I wonder if they even read the review.

Safelite was terrible to work with! We had a crack in our windshield and called them to get it replaced. I called on a Monday and set up a mobile service appointment for the following Saturday between 8:00-12:00. We pulled out our vehicle and waited around for someone to show up. At 12:30, nobody had shown up yet and we had to leave our house as we had plans in the afternoon. At 2:30, I had still not heard anything about our appointment, so I called. The lady that I talked to tried to contact the shop that was doing our repair, but was unable to get ahold of them. She told me that she would contact the people in charge of scheduling and they would call me back that same day. Nobody contacted me. Today (Monday), I tried getting ahold of someone to find out what was going on as our windshield is still not repaired and nobody has contacted me. After calling four different numbers multiple times, I was finally able to talk to someone. Apparently the part they needed for our vehicle didn’t come in until 5:00 on Saturday, so that is why they did not do the repair that day. Once again, nobody relayed this information to us. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else. Safelite is NOT worth your business.

Last Saturday morning, on a cross-country drive toward home, a goose hit my windshield while traveling 80 mph on I80. The impact shattered my windshield badly, and knocked the entire rear view mirror assembly off of its base. We pulled off the highway as soon as possible in Kearney, Nebraska to find Safelite auto glass for help. Although they could not have the glass we needed until Monday, they were very helpful and checked over the windshield, assuring us we could make it home to Boise. An employee there even reattached our rear view mirror, and I was still in such shock that I don’t think I thanked him! That small act made a huge difference in the stress level of the rest of our drive. Thank you so much, sir!! We made it home and are scheduled with another Safelite location for the windshield replacement.

We were driving through, visiting from out of state and came to check out a few thrift stores while on vacation. Five minutes from town a truck threw a large hunk of rock that damaged our windshield. Pulled into Safelite spotted coming into town. Staff was amazing! They got us fixed up and back on the road in about 30 minutes, no appointment. They got everything filed with insurance and us back on our vacation. Awesome experience!

Manager Gordon and the technician did an amazing job at coordinating time to get our vehicle in and the windshield replaced. They made sure our calibration was complete and to specifications which can be fairly tricky on Subaru vehicles. Greatly appreciated the professionalism and communication during the process of replacing our broken windshield.

Logan was very prompt and nice to work with. He called first thing in the morning to advise me of when he would be arriving. He answered all of my questions about the fixed crack and was very quick in repairing the crack in my windshield. I have used safelite in Kearney before and am always satisfied with the service and work done.

Every time I have used these guys they’ve been incredible! This last time, (yes I’ve had like 5 windshields replaced, not but 1 was my own fault lol) they even called to offer to pick up the car and return it when finished which actually helped me out in return! I’m a pretty busy mama to say the least!

Traveling from Minneapolis, had a truck drop a big rock on our windshield, took to the Kearney, NE location and got right in to repair before spiderwebs started. Friendly management and knowledgeable about area stores to explore. Would rate a 10 star if possible

Great tech, great work- super happy with the results! Cost was 1/5 of a new windshield and they came to my home for the repair. Honest, on time, professional, and was super fast to complete- what else could you want? Happy customer here.

Gordon and his colleague went out of their way to help us while we were on a cross country trip. It was close to closing time on a Saturday, but they happily helped us with a quick fix to a problem —even though we showed up unannounced.
