Unfortunately, my experience with this company was so bad that I would leave 0 stars if I could. I originally called and scheduled a back glass replacement with this company on 8/21 for the following Monday (8/26). When the technicians showed up, it turned out that whoever I spoke to to book the appointment input it incorrectly as a front windshield replacement, so they had the wrong part and could not make the replacement. They called back later that day and ensured me that they could get the correct glass in by that Wednesday night 8/28, and make the repair 8/29. Thursday 8/29 rolls around and they call to inform me that the part never arrived and they have no idea where it was. How you lose a part coming from your own warehouse contacts I have no idea. They said if they tracked the part down they could potentially come the next day. So at this point I have rearranged 3/5 of my workdays to be home for them to come make this replacement for me. Shocker that the 3rd attempt at an appointment never happened either. When speaking with one of their employees on Thursday, she did kindly share the tracking info for the glass with me, so I could see exactly what she saw for info. I kept an eye on the tracking info all weekend, and saw that on Monday the glass had arrived in Earth City, and would be delivered to them Tuesday morning. At no fault to the company, apparently the glass was damaged in transit, and UPS disposed of it and informed them of the disposal. This is where I have the biggest issue. I have not heard from this company since Thursday 8/29 when the tracking info was shared with me. They never called to inform me of the botched shipment, or make any attempt to nail down a new appointment date. Due to their constant broken promises of appointments, I had to book rental cars twice to be able to get to work and other commitments throughout the week. The only reason I booked with this company initially, was due to them ensuring the earliest appointment of anyone in the area. I have spent hundreds of dollars that could have been avoided if I used a different servicer. At the end of the day, I will say that I understand a lot of what happened was not necessarily in their control, and everyone I spoke with was generally kind. However, they had awful communication throughout the entire ordeal (I was typically calling them for updates not the other way around). Oh, and the cherry on top is that they ended up ghosting me after the failed delivery. Safelite made the replacement in the end.

Unfortunately I did not have the best experience with this company. The technician was able to get to my vehicle pretty quickly to do the repairs, but he just seemed slimy and manipulative. When discussing payment he insisted that my insurance company wouldn’t cover any portion of the repairs and it was best for me to pay him upfront rather than send the invoice to my insurance because in his experience they’ve never covered windshield repairs and it’s a big headache for him to go back and forth with them. Then he even went on to call the admin assistant at Stl Windshield (which he told me he’s worked with her for a while) to assure me that my insurance wouldn’t cover it. When I went to add my claim number to the invoice he said it wasn’t necessary. (I wrote it anyway) Well of course I shared all of this with my insurance company and ironically, they do cover windshield repairs. Stl Windshield even has a loyalty program with my insurance company so I should’ve been quoted a discounted rate for my repairs! Needless to say, I will not do business here in the future. Since I can’t reply to their response below… My deductible is not $250. State Farm did reimburse me. I think it would be helpful to share that info with future customers, especially if there’s a discount offered through their insurance. And my insurance company didn’t inconvenience me.

I just got my windshield replaced and they did a pretty fast, very friendly and professional job. They made sure they explained the 'aftercare' instructions as well. Where some shops never replied to me or wanted to sell the recalibration upfront, StL WR took some extra time to provide information about the type of windshields they use, just as Ted did in my driveway when he replaced it. I got the same or maybe even better than original windshield, which is what I really wanted - these guys don't use cheap knock offs. And I wasn't going to have to pay a recalibration cost unless it was truly needed. A little extra work upfront for me to make sure it would part of the insurance claim and to know who I'd have to take it to, but the honesty about that part was well worth it. And these guys are one of the highest rated windshield repair companies in StL. Very happy with the service and the personnel. And yes, I would recommend them to anyone.

After they installed the windshield I noticed the molding was not flush. Asked the tech about it and he started to tell me that it doesn't matter as long as the glue contacts the car. Told me to wait an hour before driving. I waited for 7 hours until I had to leave for a trip. When driving I hear the windshield wiggling back and forth. If the cold temperatures did not allow a proper installation then why did your sales person push for an appointment? Finally talked to Tedd, who thinks customers need to ask his permission before writing a negative review. I never dealt with such an unprofessional business owner - he verbally attacked me on the phone because he got offended that I complained about his service. My advice to anybody shopping for a windshield replacement -- don't trust these reviews on here as probably half of the them are fake.

Heather answered the phone on the first ring with an enjoyable "Good Morning." She checked the inventory for my repair and scheduled it with Nick and his team the same day. She texted me two times with updates, and they were at my work and completed the replacement in less than three hours. Nick and his repair team were AMAZING! They were polite, nicely dressed, and very efficient with the time it took to replace my Jeep windshield. They went over all the details, what not to do the next 24-48 hours. Nick even repaired chipped paint to prevent rust, which was caused by another company replacing the window previously. I will be recommending St. Louis Windshield Repair to all my friends and family. I had such a great experience with St. Louis Windshield Repair! There was a little mess up with my work schedule changing and even though they still came, they were willing to come back again the next day. They provided instructions easily afterwards. So convenient that they came to my work. Also- I got quotes from 4 different places and this one was the best price. Communication was super easy. Emails were responded to quickly during business hours. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be using this company again (hopefully i won’t need too anytime soon).

I made an appointment within a 4 hr gap and no one called or came. I called the company multiple times and got an answering machine. If I could leave lower than a 1 star review I would, but that was not an option. Update: Apparently there was mixup on their end about the appt. They actually called me the following day and apoligized for the mixup. I was out and about and they sent someone out to me immediately and made the repair on the spot. I was very impressed. I would like to change my review from 1 star to 5 stars. These guys went above and beyond.🙂

I had a crack in my windshield that they fixed during my lunch break from work! Everyone there was super friendly, helpful, and efficient. They made the paperwork and insurance super easy. They even cleaned my windshield, and sent me home with a pack of glass cleaner wipes (and poked some fun at how dirty I kept the interior of my windshield). I went a few months ago, the repair is holding up perfectly, and they guaranteed they would fix it again for free if it did not. Couldn’t recommend them enough!ServicesAuto windshield repair

I ended up discovering that my car needed a full calibration after install and my insurance company partnered with another company which led to my going elsewhere, however, before discovering that I had several conversations with this company and they were incredibly helpful to me. They even gave me some great pointers to consider while working with my insurance and the other company. I am very grateful for that. If the circumstances were different, I would have no issues hiring Tedd and company for a windshield repair.
