I had my windshield replaced by Safelite in June after a huge rock hit it and it immediately started to spider. About a month after the replacement, we had horrible rain. I got into my car and noticed water, but didn’t think much of it because of the rain. But when I started driving, water poured into my lap from the soaking wet headliner. I called the 1-800 number for my insurance and they directed be to Safelite. I was not happy. So I called my agent the next day and I was instructed to bring my car to Zenith Auto Glass. The guys at Zenith lightly pushed on the windshield and it started to pop out. The clips on the moulding surrounding the windshield were busted and the moulding was glued onto my car. The headliner was soaking wet to the point if you touched it, water dripped down. The carpet was soaked. The electronics in the car were all wet as well. So next, Safelite sent me an email about replacing my windshield at Zenith on Monday. And when they called to confirm the appointment, we told them they are not allowed to do any work on my car. The car was dropped off on Thursday July 17, 2025 and because Safelite was not respecting our decision to not have them work on my car, it took a full week before Zenith was allowed to work on my car. We had to borrow a vehicle from family because our only other choice was to get a rental. My car was deemed “not safe to drive” due to the fact that my windshield was not secure because of Safelite’s massive mistake. I would absolutely not recommend Safelite for windshield work because they put my family in danger because of shoddy work, and then were massive pains with their insistence they do the warranty replacement. And still this whole ordeal isn’t over because the water damage inside my car needs attention.

The original customer service rep who scheduled our service was wonderful. When we got the car back the trim around the window was raised, the plastic bordering the bottom of the window was not secured to the car in its original position, the waterproof strip at the top of the wondow is wavy and uneven, the window washer fluid sprayers do not work, and the safety censors alert randomly. While we were driving down the road the driver side stripping flew off! Trying to work with customer service to get the issues fixed has been one of the worse customer service experiences I've had, second to Spirit Airlines. The first three reps we talked to did not take notes at all so the third person we were working with had no idea what the issues were. We have spent hours on the phone and have been transferred to several different departments. We thought this would be quick and easy and we are supposed to be moving to another state Monday but it looks like we may have to push everything else back so we can continue being thrown around within the company so we can get the terrible and unsafe work fixed.

My windshield was hit by a rock or debris and chipped. I was able to schedule an appointment with Safelite through my insurance app, and was pleased with how fast I was able to get in. My appointment was completed within 30 minutes. However, upon inspecting the repair, it is still very much noticeable. There is also a smear of something that I have been unable to remove next to the repair. I was under the impression that I may still be able to see remnants of the chip, but not to this degree. I am grateful my insurance covered the repair, but it seemed like the job was rushed and not much care was put into the repair.

Got my driver side window glass replaced here in January and it never really worked right to begin with so I thought nothing of it until it completely broke in April they replaced it in January for 195 when it broke for good exactly how it was when I first got it done they explained that it was something else that needed to be replaced I just feel like I was scammed, the customer service is absolutely horrendous at this place especially the girl behind the front desk and the manager, DONT GO HERE.

Had my windshield fixed here after a rock left a quarter size ding. I was able to get an apt the next day and dropped my car off an hour early. While there was a little issue initially finding my reservation (despite the email and text confirms), they found it and got my car done earlier than expected. I've had 3 dings repaired by Safelite. Each time they tell you it won't be 100% unnoticeable and, while that is true, its barely there! Very happy with the service and result.

This review has nothing to do with the work completed by Safelight. This is a direct complaint about the young woman who was behind the counter. She was so rude and absolutely should not be in the customer service position. She was on a personal call and acted like she was being bothered by the fact that she had to help someone. She even tried to call another person to help so she wouldn’t have to. She wouldn’t make eye contact or acknowledge person in front of her.

When you call it does not allow you to talk to anyone. Is an unusable electronic computer helper. Called 4 times and every time had to deal with bunch of BS and then it just said thanks for calling, goodbye then hung up. Never did get in contact with anyone from safelite.

This past week my windshield was replaced mobile with no complications, disappointment, or stress. I was communication throughout the whole process. I was well respected, technician was well prepared to do the job in one trip, and the work was top notch! I am pleased.

The crew at Safelite is top notch. Dylan and his team took care of three of our vehicles, including my parents! Streamline process, it was so simple. Very refreshing as most insurance interactions are not like that! Thank you thank you

Worst experience ever! Take your vehicles somewhere… ANYWHERE else! The Manager, Forney, is has no business in management, or anything to do with a service industry; and, his staff have no business working on vehicles.
