Excellent Low Price Auto Glass

The receptionist is nice when she's collecting your money. My issue was my window switch was going out and my window would get stuck in position and the switch wouldn't work. Took my vehicle there and Al the guy in the back said he replaced the switch with a New one. Couple weeks later same thing was happening, as it was before I brought it there. My problem was like it had a short in it or a bad switch. 1st visit and the work was completed and time to pay the receptionist wrote it up as electrical problem, I told her at that visit, "you didn't write new switch" she said "oh it mean the same thing". "If you have a problem bring it back". I brought it back when it started doing the same thing..she says "no we didn't put new switch your receipt says electrical problem. I told her yeah you didn't write it so I ask for your pen the first time to write "new switch" right in front of you. She said I'll remember... but then when I brought it back with the receipt, she gets amnesia and tell me "they didn't put and new switch" they fixed electrical problem"! I said no the guy in the back said he installed a New switch the first day. The 2nd time when I talk to him I walked outside she telling him what to say then he started talking a bunch of lies saying oh these vehicle always have the same problems the switch goes out often. Then says the wire harness gets wet and stop it from working. I told him there is no rust by the harness wire to indicate water has been getting in the harness, plus where the harness is located, there is no way water could possibly get there. He thought he was talking to a fool. Nope he had the right one. He kept avoiding the fact that the switch was never changed and they charged 165.00. All he did was unplug and disconnect the harness and plug the harness back in, to reset the switch and that's how they are taking ppl money! Now I no longer trust them. My window back where the switch don't work. Resetting was a temporary fix, that the average customer wouldn't know about but I know a little about cars and electrical...Anyways I paid 165.00 for nothing got taken!! Now I have to go somewhere else to find an honest repair person. Him and his wife are not honest when you bring your vehicle back. Make sure your receipt says exactly word for word what was done. Beware they are shady.

I called to replace rear driver side windows for my 2016 Nissan leased car. Staff was super friendly and helpful, service was excellent and I got my car back on the same day. Initially they checked with all suppliers but no one had clear glass available, I agreed to go with after market/tinted glass. When they called me to pick up, I was surprised to learn that they did not give up, kept on checking, found 1 clear glass available, went and picked it up; and the price was only $20 more than the original quote for the after market one - clear glass, normally only available from the dealers, is much more expensive than the after market tinted ones. Window looks perfect, best thing is the price, only 1/2 compared to other quotes, not to mention other shops said it would take at least a week to order the part from the dealer.

Their service was a bit poor in my opinion. It took them 3rd try to find out the problem with my car, and because of this, I lost almost $100.00 for nothing. Now if they had done the 3rd try for me for free, because I already paid for it on the 1st try, I wouldn't have complained, but even though they lowered the price on the 3rd try, but it still was a lot, and I lost almost $100.00 for nothing, because of their mistakes, and also because they didn't compensate for what I paid on the 1st try, by doing it for free. I'm not asking for free stuff, but considering the fact that I already paid for something, I shouldn't overpay because of their mistakes, that's what I'm talking about. So overall, their service is a bit poor, and I advise you guys to keep this place as last as possible on your list. From my experience.

Took my Kia here to get my window fixed and it was not done correctly , rolled down the window for the first time for it to completely come off track and literally pop out the window. Took it back again to have it fixed he claimed it was a manufacturer issue and that he will use glue and that it should be all good to go , he stated to not roll the window down for 3 days which I didn’t , I actually didn’t roll it down again till I recently had company in my vehicle again !! The window once again went off track and is now showing white brackets which I definitely shouldn’t happen . I’ve had windows replaced 3 times on my Kia and this has never happened . Either they don’t know what they are doing or he clearly just did a terrible job on my vehicle !!

My 2012 Chevy Impala's passenger window got stuck all the way down. Then I taped up the opening and it proceeded to rain for 4 days. I couldn't even go anywhere without the window able to close! With a lot of dreadful imagining I started to call around to find out how much time and money this was going to set me back. I found Excellent Low Price Auto Glass on 8 Mile. Even though there's construction it was extremely easy to find and drive to. They fixed my window beautifully in 45 minutes! (I arrived at 9:15 am). The cost was only $150. Mae was delightful. They took great care of me and off I went to write this review and enjoy the rest of my day. If you need auto glass this is an excellent place to go.

Not a bad place, they had a little difficulty pinpointing what's the problem was, even though I knew what it was but they corrected it and were pretty reasonable about the price. Took 7 hours for them to correct the issues, but as I said they corrected the problem even though I knew what it was beforehand just haven't had the time to correct it myself so I took it to someone else to do it. So other than that I do give them a four star they are good at what they do, but sometimes they require a little assistance in correcting some issues that the owner is aware of and not them. Keep up the good work need a little bit more practice in repairing certain things on individuals vehicles.

My girlfriend was driving and someone chucked a rock at her rear passenger window and broke it! We called other places including “Safeflight” and other services before finding this place. They wanted $400 for the repair while cheap auto glass asked for only $149!!! The other companies also couldn’t do it until a week later, this place took us right in! They were slightly higher than most installers however I found the service to be superior they even did a little extra for me my door handle it was broken it was the way I had to open the door I had to hold a portion of my door so that the handle wouldn't come apart hard to explain however with a ribbage that be installer riveted a certain area of the door which now allows me to open up my door without having to hold a certain piece of the door long story short my door and my window was fixed at no additional cost which was a bonus excellent job at a fair price five stars
