Save On Auto Glass Sterling Heights

Ok, someone here has to be playing a joke on me. I see all the 5 star reviews, but my experience has been less than 1 star. I thought it was an amazing convenience that they came to my job to replace my windshield, at first. When I got off work I realized my windshield was not level, and there was rubber hanging out the top of it. My rear view mirror vibrated so much I couldn’t see out of it. When I called, both issues were blamed on my car being a ford explorer, these cars are known for it. The guy they send out to fix it couldn’t be less professional, and just a jerk, like it was a good job, and I don’t do this type of work, and I’m just a woman I don’t know what I’m talking about. I then take it to the Sterling Heights location, and I’m told the crap job done was all cosmetic, and I don’t know what I’m talking about. They did fix it, and it looked amazing after I left…. But then I’m driving down the freeway and I here boom boom boom boom across my roof. It’s the trim flapping at 75 miles per hour damaging the paint on my roof. This whole time they’ve made me feel like it’s my fault the job isn’t right, that it’s the ford explorers that do this, and made me sit there for 4 hours last time while they fixed it. So I have to go back in there and I know they’ll make me wait again like it’s my fault it’s happened. So please tell me, is google reviews plying a joke on me?

Back glass shattered trying to park in a parking structure. I had to wait 3 days in low temperature weather before I could get it fixed. I contacted “Safelite” and they were trying to charge me $600 plus dollars to fix the glass. Way too expensive. So I googled vehicle glass repair near me and Save On Glass was the first thing to pop up. I did an online inquiry for a quote because it was late when I requested the quote. I got a call the next day with a VERY affordable price made an appointment for today for when I got off work. They were very professional, friendly and very informative at this establishment.. it was clean and they offer free coffee. I got there around 225p and was out a little after 4p. I think that’s great timing. They cleaned up the glass that shattered in my trunk and gave me after care instructions. And I was good to go… back warm again!!!! I truly appreciate this place and if I have any problems later on down the line I will be patronizing this place ONLY!!! And sending anyone that have any issues with their glass here….. Thanks so much…

Very rude secretary. Can't say anything bad about the company bc I didn't get the service done. Scheduled yesterday for today, he called this morning to say due to the bad weather (it snowed last night but with 0% accumulation and roads are just fine) they couldnt make it out and they could try for tomorrow or possibly squeeze me in today before 3pm (he did not sound promising). I can't risk them calling me tomorrow and saying the same thing bc my windsheild has a crack from one side to the other, so no worries at all, I decided to shop around and found another company willing to do the job today. Just called to cancel with them and he said they were in route to me as the next appt (although I got no heads up it is 11:45 am at this point). I dont understand if u fit me in why you wouldnt call to confirm! I wouldnt have wasted the time and energy to go elsewhere. My 1 star is due to the rudeness from the secretary, both times I spoke with him. When he called to reschedule this morning and when I called him back to cancel.

These guys are the greatest! I was getting ready to move out of state, and was running around like a chicken with my head cut off. One of the last things I needed to do, was to get my windshield replaced, the snow, salt and rocks, really wreaked havoc on it, and I needed to make sure it was safe for a cross-country trip. Everywhere I called, they were either booked up for weeks, were way too expensive, or they were rude or they didn't answer at all. Something told me to look near my neighborhood and I found Save-On. They gave me great, friendly, reasonably priced service and replaced my windshield in less than two hours. My windshield looked better than when I first bought my car. If we ever get back to Michigan, these guys will have our business forever! Thanks, Guys!

My experience was absolutely outstanding!!! Joslyn was wonderful to deal with in setting the appointment for my on-site installation. Rodney was my lead installation technician and he was phenomenal, extremely professional, and he smiled from the time he arrived until the time he departed. His work ethics are second to none! When Rodney and his partner arrived, they were on time and professional. They didn’t hesitate to get straight to the task at hand. This was not an easy install as it is a complete restoration of my classic square body. They never complained or got disgruntled. I will use Save On for all of my glass needs in the future and I highly recommend that you do too!!!

I had a small star on my new car windshield. I looked up windshield repair companies and saw Save On Auto Glass had excellent reviews, which are very well deserved. I dropped by, and they were able to take me right in. The technician first looked at the star, and explained that because it already had radiant lines they may not all disappear. I very much appreciated his candor. He did the repair, and there is a very small line left, however, it's fully sealed. The cost is half other companies. I highly recommend this small business.

I arrived at my scheduled appointment time and Ray had my vehicle immediately pulled around to the shop for the Windshield replacement. The work was completed in less than an hour! Ray processed the paper work and payment without delay and explained the care required. I couldn’t have expected better service and was very please with the price and work. I would recommend this shop to my friends and family without hesitation. Thank you Ray for the excellent service and work.

I will recommend them to anyone. They are fast, friendly and professional. We got a quote from Safelite that started off around 500.00. Then they told me it would end up being almost 1100.00 because they needed to recalibrate the camera. I called save on glass and had an appointment the next day. 348.00 and an hour later and it was all done. The gentlemen who came out were very nice. I'd leave more stars if I could.

This is the second time I have gone here to get my windshield replaced, and I could not recommend anyone better! As a young woman in her early 20's, they never once made me feel dumb for asking a question and always clarified things in a way that made me feel like I was on equal ground with them. Not only are they affordable, but the service is quick and done with kindness. I will always go back to this shop!

I had such a great experience here they were able to fit me in same day with reasonable pricing to fix my window, and it literally only took a little over an hour. Customer service was phenomenal. The lady upfront played with my daughter and kept her busy while I was trying to finish homework and she even cut on Bluey for her. Overall my experience was spectacular and I would recommend them to anyone.
