I wanted to surprise my Dad with tints on his truck for his Birthday (on Labor Day weekend of all times but it was the only time I could sneak his truck away) and Golden Star was the ONLY shop in Metro Detroit who could help me out. I drove an hour to get to the shop and it was very worth every minute of the travel time! You know you are dealing with a top notch tint shop when you ask about ceramic tint and you find out they ONLY use ceramic tints. Daniella was awesome, the staff were great, their German Shepherds were such good pups... and they were so freakin' fast! I barely had time to go grab a drink and a snack from the attached gas station and they were done! They also have a great seating area outside to chill while you wait. Cannot recommend this place enough. I would give Golden Stars Auto Glass more stars if I could. I'll be definitely be coming back.

The work is quick quality and they clean and prepared for insulation very well. They explained everything to you tell you how to take care of the windshield after replaced and how to do that. I ended up coming to Mr. Windshield, after a last minute cancellation at a different windshield replacement facility due to a power outage. The customer service at Mr. Windshield was very good, they helped me processed my insurance claim to get a new windshield, they waived my $50 deducible, and they transferred my remote start adhesive to the new windshield, but the other two items on my windshield, I asked them to remove the items, and they did. I was in and out in exactly 1 hour. I noticed in the waiting room, there was a lot of repeat customers, so they must be doing something right if a lot of repeat customers are coming back to them. I would recommend coming here. The photos shown are the photos of my new windshield. They put the XYG windshield on my Honda CRV. So far, so good! It feels like my previous windshield (without the crack!). The quality of the install seems great as well.ServicesAuto windshield replacement

Back glass shattered trying to park in a parking structure. I had to wait 3 days in low temperature weather before I could get it fixed. I contacted “Safelite” and they were trying to charge me $600 plus dollars to fix the glass. Way too expensive. So I googled vehicle glass repair near me and Save On Glass was the first thing to pop up. I did an online inquiry for a quote because it was late when I requested the quote. I got a call the next day with a VERY affordable price made an appointment for today for when I got off work. They were very professional, friendly and very informative at this establishment.. it was clean and they offer free coffee. I got there around 225p and was out a little after 4p. I think that’s great timing. They cleaned up the glass that shattered in my trunk and gave me after care instructions. And I was good to go… back warm again!!!! I truly appreciate this place and if I have any problems later on down the line I will be patronizing this place ONLY!!! And sending anyone that have any issues with their glass here….. Thanks so much…
