Service from Safelite Everett took longer than was shared upon the technicians arrival (1.5 hours turned into 4 with no updates). The replacement windshield was not able to be driven with, since the replacement windshield was broken during installation (has a large chunk missing). On top of this, the technician broke my rear view mirror during the failed windshield replacement. A week later, and still no phone call from Safelite Everett to arrange a new windshield and rear view mirror despite being told by the technician I would be contacted. Car is still not able to be driven. In addition, Safelite offered windshield wipers but upon arrival shared they did not have them in stock. 3/24/25 Update: After failing to replace my windshield on the first appointment February 14, 2025, Safelite Everett did not reach out or return my phone calls to scheduling a follow-up appointment until February 28th (2 weeks later) despite sharing that they would contact me the following week. I have consistently called Safelite around the windshield rearview mirror replacement, and they finally said it was ordered on February 28th, but have not yet confirmed that they have received the mirror (nor been given an expected timing) despite frequent update requests. The Everett, MA store did schedule a 6am appointment for March 12, 2025, which I planned my day around and stayed home from work for, but no technician arrived. When I called the shop, I was told the appointment was scheduled by mistake. I ended up purchasing my own universal mirror so that I can drive the vehicle, but the universal mirror does not include the light sensor that activates the car's headlights. If the Safelite Everett, MA shop continues to take no action around there mistakes, I believe the only next option I have is to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Avoid this location at all costs. Not only did I have $490 headphones stolen out of my car (the manager said I’m out of luck and there isn’t anything they can do about it), but they drove my car over 50+ miles for a simple recalibration on 3 separate occasions (they’re telling me this is protocool… I have a bronco…) and now I have an ABS light on in my car and none of my safety features work as well as any of my sensors that are connected to my windshield. I now have to spend hundreds of dollars fixing this out of pocket by bringing it to a dealership, just to undo the damage that they did to my car and PAY to have my windshield recalibrated. Not only that, but I also have to re-purchase headphones that were a sentimental gift to me from someone who isn't alive anymore. The entire time I’ve been basically told that there’s nothing they can do and I’m out of luck. Now I have to do everything on my own. Pick a different shop and avoid the headache/extra expenses this place and its dishonest employees have caused me. Update: I see the other 1 star reviews are consistent with my experience. After market windshields, poor recalibrations that cause further issues, rude employees, etc. I wish I would’ve read the reviews first. The generic response to “chat” on the safelite we site is also a joke. Truly wish the company would fix this. Absolutely no professionalism or empathy for how hard they’re making innocent people’s lives who are just trying to get something fixed on their car…. Sad.

This review is about Lindsay Conway! I had my windshield replaced by safelite and during the process they scratched the moulding of my car! I called safelite and they sent someone out to look at the damage, the guy thay showed up had noooo idea why he was even there, he decided to take pictures of the scratch and sent it to a rep! The rep then told me that they will order the part and that i would have to go to safelita in everett to have it replaced! I asked 4 times it the part they ordered was the correct one and they said yes! I take time off of work and go to safelite in everett and lindsay was the one at window and when she saw the damage she said they had the wrong part for us! I was frustrated because u had asked so many times if it was the right one and she had the nerve to tell me “ its a waste of their time too” even though i was not the one that ordered the wrong part!!! She told me my car damage needs to be fixed using a paint kit! She said she will order and let me know when it arrives! Fast forward 1 month later i call and asked if kit arrived somone told me it did not! i emailed lindsay and she never replied back to me! Please note that this has been going on since July 2023!!!!!!!! This has been the worst experience i have ever har with a customer servise rep and safelite needs to do better and fix this asap!!

Do not do business with them, possibly the worst company ever put together. Almost impossible to get in touch with a human, their automated system is horrendous and will give you the run around. The agents in charge of making appointments don’t know up from down. Had an appointment scheduled for a Saturday between 8am-12pm (at least i thought i did) waited around all morning decided to call once it was 12:30 just to find out the “shop never got the work order so nobody was sent out”. Fast forward two weeks, mange to get an appointment. Drop the car off, then I pick it up everything seems and looks fine visually was told that they took care of recalibration etc etc drive it home things are fine, get in my car the next morning for work I drive my car for less than a minute and the engine turns off and steering wheel locks, go to start it again and it throws a bunch of codes at me. I had to push my car out of the road and now i’m currently stranded as I type this. Update still not sure what the issue is. Currently in the process of getting my car towed to the jeep dealership to get a “diagnostic test” before safelite take any responsibility for damages but i’ve now discovered a puddle of water on the floor of the passenger side my car, must be a coincidence🙂….

Based on everyone’s reviews, there should be a class action suit against Safelite due to the negligence at this location. They caused thousands of dollars of damage to my car, and were extremely rude about it to boot. Other 1 star reviews are consistent with my experience. 4 star reviews are either fake or customers who got lucky. Check their work thoroughly and look for damage to other parts of your vehicle if you absolutely have to go here. Take before and after photos because they will never admit fault. The warranty is a lie. Don’t rely on appointment times as they may be as much an hour off or more, is scheduled at all. Update: Thank you for your thoughtful response 😐 what a joke. Reaching out and talking to your staff was as painful as the damage you caused.

On May 31 2022, in the process of them replacing my windshield, the Safelite tech broke my rear view mirror. They informed me that they would replace it. It’s now August and I have not heard back from the shop about replacing my rearview mirror. I’ve called them twice to follow up and both times they said that the part hasn’t been received but they would get back to me. It’s incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable that I’m the one who has to chased him down for updates. It is obvious that is not a priority for them. I will never go to that shop again, and I would never recommend anyone to go there either. They break customers property and then lag their feet in addressing the issue.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

My vans rear window got broken and i decided to get a quote with them. Even though there are mixed reviews here in Google Maps, i hoped for the best. The appontiment set up was nice and easy. They evaluated my van and offered to clean and cover the broken part until the window got replaced. Took a little over 2 hours to get the job done and they offer hot beverages and tv while you wait hehe thanks. Tech addressed a problem with my rear wiper and he even left easy path for the next repair so that was really nice. Once the job was done there was a problem which i pointed out to desk and they were able to fix it. So all in all I'm very satisfied with my own experience. Thanks Safelite and staff!

I went in person to get an opinion on whether the chip in my windshield was repairable. I got a good assessment of what it would look like (permanent bug splat), and I decided on replacement. They gave me the option of coming back to the shop the next business day, or wait a couple days more a mobile repair. I decided to take the earlier appointment at the shop. The work was done quickly and done well. I did notice that the trim was not sitting flush where it met the top of the molding. They took it back in the shop and corrected it right away. Great experience at this shop on Revere Beach Pkwy.PositivePunctuality, Quality, ProfessionalismServicesAuto windshield replacement

My whole experience with Safelite was great. The ease of making my appointment and the staff that works at the Everett location were very professional and helpful. They gave me a timeframe for the work to be done and it was completed in that timeframe. No surprises. I had to wait for my car and the waiting room was comfortable. Derek, the technician replacing my windshield, did a great job and was also very professional. Deanisha took my car for a ride to test the calibration on my safety features. She was also great. My experience with Safelite was very positive and if I will definitely come back if i need another windshield. I highly recommend Safelite.

Safelite auto glass one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. National general insurance contracted safelite to install a windshield in my 2020 Cadillac Escalade. A aftermarket windshield was installed and my radar/cruise control system will not work properly now . Took m/v back to dealer and was advised that the radar will not work with an aftermarket windshield. Contacted both national general insurance and safelite glass and both blamed each other. Paid out of my pocket for a factory windshield and problem was resolved. Would never ever ever recommend national general insurance or safelite glass . They Will take your money with no problem!!
