The hip hop generation destroyed the cycle of supporting black people and businesses legitimately. Just like this business owner music career this glass and tint business is garbage. The customer service is horrible because he doesn’t know how to address his customers respectfully by their name by sir, Mr., or Ms. and doesn’t know how to take ownership of poorly done installation of their work. They did a poor job of installing the windshield and when it rains the it now leaks in the vehicle. The tint job is horrible too one of the worst I have ever seen in my life. They all need serious recommendations for eye examination and glasses because Stevie Wonder can see that they don’t know what they’re doing. Went back several times and they still can’t get it right. This business operation is garbage. Please avoid this “Homeboy from Out of Space Operation!!!!”

I gave these people an opportunity. Took my car for a Windshield replacement 3 days ago when I drove the car I noticed airflow coming from the windshield so I took it back the next day, so they could make it right. I told them that it wasn't completely sealed and told them that they didn't put back the trim on the sides correctly. they tried to say that everything looked fine but they agreed to check it they said they will put more sealant . Today while driving on the highway one trim fell off putting me and others in danger. when I inspected I noticed that they broke the trim and just glued it on. The windshield isn't completely sealed either. Now I have to pay to have it replaced again plus I have to get the parts they broke, installed. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY DONT CARE.

Detroit and his team are THE BEST AROUND. My car was broken into and someone trying to steal it by starting it with a flathead screwdriver. He had the glass, kept in touch while I waited for the police who never showed. Sent his guy to my house WHILE CALLING AROUND TO FIND SOMEONE TO COME REPAIR MU IGNITION SWITCH. He did not have to go out of his way to help me but he did. I am so grateful to have called them. If you go anywhere else, you’re missing out on the best customer service around. We always want to try and do business with black business but these clowns are the most unprofessional and tool less guys installing windows he quoted me one price and tried to get more after they started I refused to pay more than the amount quoted by him after he had looked at the window and called it in .Then after I refused he said he would sell me the glass but I couldn't even cover my window in the lot. THEY'RE ABSOLUTELY GETTING THEY'RE REVIEWS WRITTEN BY THEM AND OTHERS THAT THEY KNOW THEY ARE A TERRIBLE BUSINESS I ended up doing the window myself stay away from them loosers you've been warned never again

Amazing service! Safe-lite wanted close to 500 for a passenger window replacement with an appointment in 2 weeks (only to call back and cancel because my car was too old for them to have the glass in stock). Called Gentilly Auto Glass and not only did they have the window but they could install it immediately for less than half of what Safe-lite wanted. Will be using Gentilly Auto Glass again for all my auto glass needs and will sing their praises to anyone who needs their services. I had 2 window regulators replaced. It only took about 1hr and half I was surprised how fast they were. Went to pickup up truck and everything was fine except my driver side window didn't go down everytime we hit the switch. I didn't understand why but Detroit was very patience with me and explaining that the switch must be bad. I wasn't happy but I understood so now I have to replace the switch and then I'll be a happy client. Thanks again for the time spent with me. I would recommend these guys .

I have an old car and after calling several places where they told me they didn’t have my glass window on stock I called GENTILLY Auto Glass. They called me back after a while and told me that they found a window and they were able to do it that day on a Friday right before closing for the weekend (they saved me from getting rain in the car). Because it was tinted I came back after the weekend and they took it off. And everything fast, we’ll done and with a good price

Car window was broken at 8pm on a Friday and was able to get an appointment 9 sat morning , did not take long at all to replace very reasonable prices ..so far so good also got replacement tinted I don't like the sound of the window when I put down because of the tint so that's why 4 stars .. but I highly recommend 👌🏿 Update They replaced the glass but evertime I close my door I here glass they did not remove the broken glass in door now I know what the sound is

I came to get my front windshield replaced, I called a couple of days prior and missed my first appointment. This man answered the phone and told me to come in. When I arrived, he already was gone to get my window! I was impressed. Very business oriented individuals work here, the job was done and I am pleased. This guy charge me over what price he gave and after he is not willing to give my car back i called police tooo This guy is just scam he don’t know how to fix he just want money I gave him 1 star coz i have to give him but im not willing to pay any star to give him Don’t come over there if u come make ur mind u are paying for just leaving your car for couple of min or hours
