Wow! Windshields Cost TOO Much! That is what I discovered when I checked out the various competitors. Not having “windshield insurance” for my reliable USED, domestic puddle hopper, naturally I had to shop around under a state Registration Deadline. Last time I had a windshield repair my-out-of-pocket was more than a “Joe-Gas” SUV Fill-up! And that was WITH insurance when it was new. My appointment with Ken at Better Windshield was scheduled 2 weeks ago, and during the interim, Ken kept me posted on confirming date and time; confirming correct parts had arrived (no waiting in a dirty waiting room for a tardy, big city parts driver – translates to, “no deposit was required”). He texted or called, the time needed to complete the work; and, estimated costs; which, by the way is, WHAT SOLD me. If you can afford the higher prices and impersonal service from the “Other Guys” with TV ads, Radio Commercials, big budget marketing, high overhead, corporate indifference, etc., then be so blessed. Ken has successfully kept his costs down with an impressively simple, organized, neat and convenient location that he OWNS – not Leased like the costly competitors (another cost savings passed along). Here's the “big enchilada”. There ARE NO WORKERS with payroll taxes, insurance, liabilities, cost eating). {The work of FIVE (5) “employees” (half sitting around on the clock), is BY THE OWNER, Ken!} The savings from all others was, “Yuge” (to me). The follow up including service from start to end was “Above and Beyond” On Time and In Budget! I learned how NOT to get ripped off in the future, when Ken educated me about repairs or, the corrosion around windshield moldings from IMPROPER prior installation. (Photos still in the lab). He fixed THAT too. You won't feel ripped off patronizing this LOCAL entrepreneur with 20+ years of windshield-exclusive experience. Although my final bill was higher than originally estimated, he kept me advised of the “what if's” that would be addressed as needed. So, there were NO Surprises...except ONE: My windshield has NEVER BEEN CLEANER!

If you want an absolute professional job done with very little wait time and superior performance you have got to visit this company. I had a cracked windshield In my 2014 Chevy Silverado and was referred to this company by my son n law he told me that the owner Ken will take care of my problem with no worries. I went and met Ken and set a time for Thursday to have the windshield replaced, I came back early on Wednesday from vacation and dropped the truck off full well expecting to have the service completed on the next day as agreed upon. Wednesday afternoon I get a call from Ken letting me know that I could come and pick the truck up he went ahead and finished the job since he had additional time, I was very pleased to hear that, to my amazement once I got there he told me he also went ahead and filled my spare tire with air he said he does that for all vehicles and I'm glad he did he said I only had 15 psi in the tire, I also looked around inside and noticed that he had also vacuumed the inside of the truck, I had come from Pensacola beach and there was sand inside. Ken went overboard in making my experience a really enjoyable one. If you ever need a crack repaired or a windshield or window replaced you owe it to yourself to see Ken, he called my insurance company and had everything taken care of. Ken in my opinion deserves more than 5 stars but that is as high as I could go on his rating. He is very professional, courteous, and easy to work with. If I ever have another problem I will not hesitate in calling him and he has a lifetime warranty on service and product, see him you want be disappointed.

I had a rock hit my windshield. It grew from 4 inches to 14 in a matter of a few days. Mr.Ken was HIGHLY recommended to me. I called Mr.Ken and told him I'd have to wait a few days before I could come in, and he told me to keep my car in the shade or the crack would grow. The repair's cost is based on it's length. I don't know of too many businesses that offer helpful info that saves me money. When I got to his shop, he told me I could wait inside, or that I could watch. It took maybe 20 minutes. The crack was a HUGE eye sore, and now, i can't even find where it was before he fixed it. I've had chips fixed at other glass companies before, but their service never stood out. I've already told all of my friends and family about Ken, and if I ever have another crack, I'm going STRAIGHT TO A BETTER WINDSHIELD! !! 5☆☆☆☆☆'s and then some!!! I did alot of research when it came to picking who to use to have my windshield replaced. A Better Windshield company really spoke to me from the statements of others and how personable and professional their experience was. I called and left a message and later recieved a Text from Ken getting me setup and squared away. Very reasonable price and quick professional service. Not only did he knock out my windshield but noticed my tires were a little low so he topped them off for me. Very excellent customer service experience. I will only be using A better windshield company for all of my window repair needs and will definitely be reccomending Kens services to any and all. Great work, great price, great owner... Ken knows his craft very well. I had my windshield replaced in early January and everything turned out fine. His webpage has a wealth of information, worth the visit. He educated me on the whole process, including the shortcuts some people in the industry may take. He even took time out to assist during a follow up visit days later (no issues with the glass, factory trim needed a little glue. Purely cosmetic.) Very accurate regarding his schedule, pricing, and estimates on when the job will be done. I also appreciated the fact that he didn't drill me for not knowing he is cash or check only! And if that isn't enough, he's a solid guy. Thanks Ken, see you soon for my headlight restoration.

If I could rate him higher I would. I was able to have my windshield repaired the same day I called. The repair only took 20 minutes and the quality of the work is extremely high. But it's something he did that is beyond normal customer service that impressed me. About an hour before my scheduled time he called to tell me it was about to rain and if I could I should cover the crack with tape before it started to rain. Otherwise he wouldn't be able to complete the repair that day. He even gave me some clear adhesives to use in case I get another chip!

Mr. Ken is a windshield artist. I say that from seeing his work firsthand, he is experienced and knowledgeable about his job. He is honest and straightforward in dealings and flexible with his customers scheduling needs. Also, I like the way he advertises and does businesses. While everyone out there is talking cheap, Ken is staking his claim in quality and delivering. I feel like anyone can give you cheap but if you want to know you're in good hands go to A Better Windshield Repair. I will tell everyone I know about this place and you will too.

Great service. Went in for a chip on one car and ended getting a new windshield for my other as well. I didn’t know my auto insurance covered chips but he had them on speed dial. No cost, fast and easy. My other car had a huge crack and I had been putting the replacement off, but after the great service I had With the chip he had my business. I ended up having some rust under the seam that he took care of as well. If you want it done right, this is the place to go. I didn’t shop around for prices but we’ll worth the work done.

Ken is awesome he does a good job and takes a lot of pride in his work I recommend him to anybody he took care of us and did a great job. My insurance covered having a rock chip fixed and you can barely see where it was. So thank you Ken for doing such a great job. He's even fixing my side window where the track broke and offered me a fair price. So if anybody's got a rock chip whether you have insurance or not give Ken a call. If for some reason or another he doesn't answer he always gets back to you in a fair amount of time.

Our search led us to Ken via Google, and the glowing reviews confirmed he was our go-to guy. Upon arrival, Ken warmly greeted me and promptly assessed the damage. His approach was meticulous, efficient, and surprisingly budget-friendly. Thanks to him, I avoided the expense of a new windshield. Now, I'm bracing myself for round two – because, as we all know, not all truckers secure their loads properly!
