Short Review - Avoid at all costs if you value your paint and trim. Read on for the lengthy review. I purchased a new truck and the back glass was damaged...didn't notice this until a few days later. So I contacted the dealer and they agreed to replace under warranty. They used KY Auto Glass for this service. I setup an appointment easily enough and arrived on time. I was hesitant because the truck was brand new (300 miles) but was assured everything would be fine. It was rather cool out (40 degrees) and I knew I'd probably have to wait longer for the glass adhesive to dry, but I didn't mind. They took the truck in their shop and I settled into the waiting area. Within 15 minutes they returned and said "You're done, good to go!" I was surprised because I knew there was no way the glass adhesive could already be dry. I asked multiple times if I should wait a bit before driving (had an hour drive back home). Once again they said "Nope, good to go." It's as if they were rushing me off...literally edging me out the door. When I got home to my garage I gave the glass a good once over. It was atrocious! It had chips, scrapes, and glue all over it. It looked 100 times worse than the glass they removed. I called them immediately. Their response..."Yeah, we probably should have caught that." Really? What a joke. But read on...it gets even worse. They agreed to order another glass and scheduled me for a week out. On the day of my appointment they called and said the glass wasn't in...I'd have to wait another week. I was already on my way to their shop when they called...it was about 30 minutes before my appointment. So I had to turn around and head back home. I finally made it to the last appointment and once again they were done in about 15 minutes and were rushing me along. Almost like they were racing to see how fast they could get it done. I tried to look the glass over before leaving but it was cloudy weather and hard to see. The next day was sunny so I pulled it outside to take a look. What a disaster. They had scratched big long lines into my paint all around the glass! Scuffed up the plastic trim around the truck bed, and left big long scratches/scuffs on the bumper! They caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to the truck. Plus the new back glass was all wavy...like a funhouse mirror. At this point no one will do anything to make it right. Definitely not going back to KY Auto Glass so they can finish destroying a new truck. Dealer is useless for any help. Only option is a body shop...and the thousands it will cost to fix...two quotes verified this. So this review will end like it started. Avoid this place at all costs if you value your vehicle's paint and trim.

Hands down the BEST and most professional company I have had any experience with! Yesterday, my windshield randomly cracked completely across due to the extreme cold weather and nigh heat from my defroster. I called my insurance company immediately. They recommended safelite… I scheduled an appointment with them but quickly turned right around and canceled that appointment and called Kentucky Auto Glass instead! And I am SO happy I did! I spoke with Sean (Shawn? - not sure on spelling) several times in length yesterday morning and he was SO professional, informative, considerate, kind and overall SO HELPFUL! He scheduled an appointment for me right away and was even going to have it replaced within hours on the same day, but we decided that today would work best due to icy/snowy/cold weather and timing. Overall, I could not be more pleased with the absolute first class professionalism of this locally owned company and their INCREDIBLY KIND & professional technician who drove far away from Lexington and all the way out to my house at 10 am in 20 degree weather. He called me, showed up on time, answered any and all questions I had; he was polite, professional and had my new windshield replaced within an hour! WOW! Just absolutely amazing! Donnie was my mobile technician and has 31 years experience. I highly recommend him for your glass work/repairs & replacements! I am so THANKFUL for this AMAZING & PROFESSIONAL company and of course, Donnie and Sean! Everything they do is timely, professional, experienced work and pure honesty along with showing up with a smiling face and complete helpfulness! Unprofessional appearance, substandard performance. On January 27, 2021, I contacted Kentucky Auto Glass and made an appointment to replace my windshield on February 2, 2021. This was an insurance claim, so all paperwork was completed prior to my appointment. When I arrived in the morning, I apparently interrupted the manager's morning smoke break, because he approached me, lit cigarette in hand, and ushered me into the office. I wore a mask, he did not. Despite this unprofessional conduct and appearance, I proceeded in the hope the service would make up for the initial impression. I was wrong. The manager informed me that my glass windshield had not arrived, and wouldn't arrive till 2 PM that day despite the fact that I had made the appointment 5 days in advance. I agreed to wait till 2, because at this point I wanted the work finished by the end of the day. At 2PM The manager called to say the windshield had arrived, but was the wrong one. When I arrived at 4:15PM to pick up my vehicle, the same manager told me that maybe on Thursday they could have my windshield fixed. I promptly fired Kentucky Auto Glass, informed my insurance company that I would not be using Kentucky Auto Glass to replace my windshield, and took my business elsewhere.NegativePunctuality, Professionalism

LOOK NO FURTHER !!! These are the people to fix your glass!! To begin, I first spoke to Amberlee. She was so professional and cheerful for the entirety of the conversation. She was such an advocate for me with the insurance company. It was a 3 way call between the three of us. When they repetitively gave me an attitude she spoke up for me every time ! She assured me that she would contact me as soon as she heard back from the insurance company. That is exactly what she did. Hours later I go a text informing me that it was a go for the date and time that we decided on to replace my glass. Thank you Amberlee!! Mason gave me a phone call prior to arriving. He arrived at the exact time that it was promised to me. From beginning to end Mason was polite, proficient and did an excellent job. I could not have asked for a better technician to repair my windshield. Thank you Mason! ! Look no further if you are in need of glass repair !

Amazing job by KY Auto Glass. My technician's name was Daniel, and he was amazing. My driver's side window of my Volvo came off the track and was smashed to bits, and he had a heck of a time with it. Things were glued in and jerry rigged and nothing was cooperating with him. He was incredibly patient and spent two hours working at it. He also put up with me lurking around the whole time. Thanks to his patience and persistence, I didn't have to buy a new regulator and my window works even better than when I got the car to begin with! Anyone else would have slapped it in the easy way and I would have had to replace the regulator later on. But thanks to him it works perfectly, and costed me hundreds less than Safelite would have. Hopefully nothing else will break, but if it does I will definitely call KY Auto Glass again!PositivePunctuality, Quality, Professionalism, Value

My Rear windshieldled broke on me tryng to load stuff into my trunk. Safelite said $315.00 to replace. So i called bluegrass auto parts in lex they had one for $65 and ky autoglass was going to install that for me for $100.00 all inclusive. When bga tried to pull theirs after I paid them it broke. Mike the owner said to bring it over, no charge, and he himself put collision wrap over my rear that was just a hole (after my clear tape job let go on rhe highway) for free!!! They are installing a rear windshield glass for me tomorrow 8am !! Their price?: THEY SAVED ME OVER $100.00 from the safelite online quote!!!!! If you havent talked to Dionne and or their other friendly female office manager and or Mike the owner of KY autoglass.......Youll wish you did! When you learn how they operate. They are the best people and glads business i have ever encountered.. Hands down.

Where do I begin... First, I had recently got my windows tinted and I believe when the guy did it, he somehow messed my seal up around my rear window on my car. Well I had called around SEVERAL places and everyone told me the same thing, that I would have to replace my window (which was perfectly fine just the seal broken) but not Kentucky Auto Glass. When I called I was greeted with a friendly guy who was very knowledgeable and attentive, he even gave me a cheap quote that was down to the cent. 👍🏾 They order my part which came in the next day and Nic (very friendly and informative) the technician came and resealed my window in no time. I am now a lifetime customer and would recommended everyone to try them out. We had THE BEST experience with Kentucky Auto Glass! From the first few moments of the conversation to the final touches our technician, Daniel did before leaving - 10/10 would recommend! When I first spoke to Mike over the phone, he gave me a prompt, accurate, and affordable quote including all service fees and taxes! I stress this because I received five quotes prior to speaking to Kentucky auto glass and none of which gave me all inclusive pricing until I requested it. I chose them without a second thought because of this honesty! Not only did they get my husbands car window replaced, they did it with in the day! Daniel was polite, extremely professional, and I could tell took pride in his work. I truly appreciate you guys, I will absolutely recommend to anyone looking for auto glass repairs!

After repeated frustrations with Safelite, I came to Kentucky auto glass. What a difference! Everybody I talked to, Justin, Mike, Joe and particularly Tara, was extremely responsive, friendly and professional. They were very accommodating and helped me by replacing my windshield adjusting to my rather tight schedule. Needless to say, they also did a stellar job replacing my windshield! All the seals looked like new, and they even mounted my dashcam back in place! Impressive customer service. I can only recommend them! Don't think twice, you'll be very pleased! Got my windshield replaced today by Kentucky Auto Glass. It was on my 2004 Dodge Durango and my stock windshield looked like a dark tint, and had dark edges/border all around, they was the cheapest place I could find, had a long crack that nobody wanted to fix. Anyway, since they were cheap, I wasn’t expecting much or expected for my new shield to look like stock, I figured an “ALL GLASS” look. WOW, my replacement looks exactly like stock !!!! And the whole staff was VERY friendly, ZERO problems. Yup, I’d go back if I had to. Thank You Kentucky Auto Glass.
