Called online to schedule an appointment Service online was extremely helpful Then the shop called and said that it was too hard of a job and I could take my business elsewhere and hung up the phone on me Rudely as they could be. This is the third time I've contacted this place. I had one windshield changed on my Scion and it was a great deal and they did a great job. The second one the rear view mirror fell off the day after they put the glass in and my third encounter was them calling me and telling me that it's too hard of a job to put the windshield in and I can take my business elsewhere. I thought they were in the business of doing windshield replacement. Apparently not. Only when it's easy. I found a supplier to buy the windshield myself and replaced it myself. It was not that difficult at all. So if you have a windshield, it's easy to replace they are happy to do it. If not call Safelite

TLDR: I had a very good experience here as far as price, time, friendly technicians, and customer service. I am still amazed and would come back without hesitation for any car window problem. Noticed my 2011 Mazda 2 had a jiggly rear hatch window when any door in the car would close. Took it to the iowa city safelite and they showed me how dangerously close the window was to popping out. They quoted me $200 and said it would take at least an hour to fix. When I showed up to the appointment, they told me they got the price down to about $100 with tax. I was ready with snacks and a phone charger to camp out at the shop for awhile, but they finished all the work in under 20 minutes. They showed me exactly what the problem was (used car dealer used glue without primer) and gave me a lifetime guarantee for the window. I am still amazed and would come back without hesitation for any window problem.

Took a bad rock hit to my Nissan Murano cracking windshield in my line of site. Called every glass shop in Cedar Rapids or tried to anyway. It was hard to talk to a live local person. Called Auto Glass Now at 3:00 and spoke to Linda. She promptly quoted a great price and had me in at 9 A.M. the next morning. The shop was busy and Linda and the installers were hopping. I told the installer to take all the time he needed to do a great job. He said I appreciate that and that he’d do it right the first time. Aprox 1 hour later my Murano windshield was done and we gave it another 1/2 hour to cure before driving home. The windshield looked exactly like the OEM glass with top tint, and shade strip by the rear view mirror. Installer did a good job replacing mirror, satellite antenna and remote start sensor into new glass. 2 thumbs up for excellent service and price.

I had some delinquent attempt to steal my car and had broken out one of my door windows. I was super stressed out as window repairs are typically expensive. I called around and these guys quoted me one of the lowest prices and could fix it the soonest. Their customer service was beyond amazing. Experience was good all though I had to wait almost a week because my insurance sent the claim to the wrong email it was good when the car was getting dropped of they had some no shows and got my car right in so that was good this was a few years ago I just took my car back for a new windshield they are all vey nice to work with and they are very honest with you.I will use this business again and again.ServicesAuto windshield repair

Many people go through their entire life, never needing to replace their back glass on a vehicle. I did and had no idea of the process. I chose these folks because I could actually talk to a person. I talked to Anna who took my information and gave me a quote within minutes. Took the truck in on a Monday. They did the job and it was an excellent job. The bill was exactly as given. I recommend this business highly. Couldn’t be happier.

GARBAGE SERVICE!!!! My windshield in my Honda was broken so a business nearby recommended to go through this place but when I went in to show them my concern on the windshield being wonky and disoriented after they had already “fixed” it… the service guy belittled me so bad & made me feel like such a nuisance! Would NEVER recommend!!! Still waiting to hear back about my windshield months later… they could care less though

This place is the best! From the nice lady on the phone to the fella doing the work…hands down one of THE best experiences I’ve had. They got me in in a timely manner and I was out the door in less time than was quoted. The experience was great! I had filled out the form online and then called them. The guy I talked with with very friendly and helpful. The price was much less than what other places said they could do it for. It was easy to drop my car off and it was fixed quickly. I would recommend them to anyone needing a windshield replaced. We had a windshield replaced and it was distorted and deffective on the drivers side. Called and talk to them about the issue and they said they would reach out to their supplier and get back to us. I never received a call back. Tried to Contact them multiple times and they would not answer. Ended up having if replaced again by another company. Would not recommend this company.. thanks for wasting my money
