TLDR: I had a very good experience here as far as price, time, friendly technicians, and customer service. I am still amazed and would come back without hesitation for any car window problem. Noticed my 2011 Mazda 2 had a jiggly rear hatch window when any door in the car would close. Took it to the iowa city safelite and they showed me how dangerously close the window was to popping out. They quoted me $200 and said it would take at least an hour to fix. When I showed up to the appointment, they told me they got the price down to about $100 with tax. I was ready with snacks and a phone charger to camp out at the shop for awhile, but they finished all the work in under 20 minutes. They showed me exactly what the problem was (used car dealer used glue without primer) and gave me a lifetime guarantee for the window. I am still amazed and would come back without hesitation for any window problem.

My brand new audi recently had its backglass smashed in by a tree branch and Iowa auto glass replaced it for a fraction of the cost I was quoted elsewhere. The owner (Jason?) did a perfect job and even let my dog stay there for the day as I needed to leave in an emergency and my Uber driver wouldn't let my dog in the car. I was super nervous to take my expensive car anywhere other than the dealer but im sure glad I did. I'd never leave my dog with someone I didn't trust but I could tell right off the bat he was a trustworthy man (he also served in the Marine Corps). I live in Michigan but if I ever need any other Glassworks done I will purposely go out of my way to give him my business, it's not often you can find people in this industry that you can trust. Thank you sir.

Mark was my repair tech.He was very friendly and descriptive and timely. The lobby was clean and cool. The receptionist, Teresa,though very busy handling scheduling , was still courtious and offered me fresh coffee. Although my windshield getting cracked sucked, the unexpected highlight was excellent customer care which most people know is almost nonexistent these days. Thank you Mark and Teresa and safelite for a flawless experience. I would recommend you again in a heartbeat and if I ever have to repair or replace my windshield again, I'll be back.
